There was a teaser with Jeri Ryan at her car apparently some bad guy was "after her"...

Please Marry Me, Cybill Shepherd!
I love Cybill Shepard! She is a goddess! My heart sank though when I read the first sentence in this answer she gave in an interview on Moonlighting. But read what she said at the end! I needed a cold shower after I read it!

"JC: You must have been very hot in those costumes, too.

CS: Oh absolutely! And being tied up is not my favorite thing. I had an experience in a movie once where I was in a place called Bronson Caves. It's somewhere here in the Los Angeles area. But they had me tied up in between these gas torches. I'm supposed to be in the cave and they put up these gas torches. So I was tied up, and one of them wouldn’t light. The prop man came over where I’m tied up right next to it between one and one that wouldn’t light. He put a match up to it and it blew the match out, so much gas was coming out! Then when he finally got it lit, it kind of exploded! I don’t think it blew off his eyebrows. That happened to me, too, growing up. I think I was fourteen or fifteen. My mother said, "Well, we’re going to have some steaks. Would you go out and light the gas grill?" I went out and I guess I turned it on too long because it blew up in my face and burnt my eyelashes, eyebrows off, and the front of my hair. So between that, I mean, I don’t mind being tied up in life like for fun, but when I had to be tied up there, it was sheer misery on my face. It was easy to act being miserable."

This and that and nothing in particular...
...or as Texas congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee observed during proceedings of the House Judiciary Committee on November 19, 1998, "We have always argued that Justice is blind, but we've never argued that Justice is gagged. You cannot have the defense sitting in a courtroom gagged and bound..."

Hmmm...some rather interesting verbal imagery there, don't you think?

And once again, verbal imagery is the subject which summons me hither. Someone-sorry I don't recall whom at the moment-mentioned three of Mary Higgins Clark's titles a few days back which incorporate material of interest to us. Well, it just so happens that one of them-"Where Are the Children?"-is available as a netLibrary digital audiobook download, and another-"Stillwatch"-can be borrowed locally on CDs, albeit in an abridged version. Since getting either onto an iPod is rather a daunting task, any insight that could be graciously imparted here as to whether such would be worth doing would be deeply appreciated.

Seems I remember the first title as a made-for-television movie with a scene involving not only the heartbreak of male interference, but That Particular Aspect Which Dare Not Speak Its Name around here. If that's all there is in the book, I think we'll pass.

And by the way, didn't Sean Young get the whole nine yards in the movie version of Higgins Clark's "Before I Say Goodbye?" How does her character fare in that book?

Finally, kudos to the snagger of the Cybill Shepherd catch. Always figured-especially after the "Atomic Shakespeare" episode of "Moonlighting"-that she was secretly One of Us. Yeah, right Cybill-you hate it like you hate getting a run in your stockings!

One Life to Live
For those who didn't see it, the capture scene on OLTL showed the butler shoving a cloth into the woman's mouth while a cowboy accomplice bearhugged her from behind and lifted her off her feet to carry her out to the stables. That has always driven me crazy when they act like someone who has a cloth in their mouth with nothing to hold it there is helpless. Well, a couple of seconds maybe, mostly in shock, but please. How much trouble is it to tie in the stuffing? She didn't appear on Wednesday; may continue today.

Yes, nothing happened. They are continuing the setup with Danielle Panabaker's boyfriend being a sleeze, so it's only a metter of time before she gets into some trouble. Hopefully, bound and gagged.

The Jeri Ryan character and the other female lawyers could also use a gag.

I think Fettershackle deserves a column in a small-town community newspaper.

Cybil
In Cybil Sheppards Book, Cybil Disobediance. She states several times when she was bound and "gagged". And how she hated it and how she tried to convince the producers of Atomic Shakespear to switch the charectors around. If you read betweens the lines (mostly because she brings it up often) it seems the lady protested too much, to be believed that she hated it that much

In the Prince of Terror episode of the Mod Squad, James Best (The Sheriff from the Dukes of Hazard) chloroforms Peggy Lipton, and we later find her tied and gagged in a chair.

Pelle Vogue
Images at this address: http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3609466&postcount=2 are from a fashion spread in the MAINSTREAM fashion magazine Pelle Vogue entitled 'satin bondage'. This is an Italian magazine--it can be found in NYC at more international newsstands. Why can't American fashion magazines be more like this?

Unknown film
I was trying to remember the name of a film I saw on cable (or regular television) once about 15 or so years ago; didn't see the whole thing, just the last 20 minutes or so. This is what I remember so I hope it sounds familiar to someone:

American or other English language production (Canada? I believe they had N.American accents); scenes I saw took place in a wilderness near a lake or large river; damsel was a brunette, casually dressed, around mid-teens I believe running or looking for someone in the woods while accompanied by some putz (a younger boy I think); they are overtaken by some 'mountain man' type or otherwise older man who grabs the girl and knocks down the boy; next scene I remember is him carrying her OTS bound hand & foot and gagged I believe; places her in a boat on a lake or river to take away with him (as a 'found bride' I guess); she is rescued before he gets away. Nice little scene from what I remember since it carried all the favorite elements.

I believe the plot was about her running away or something, I guestimate the movie was anywhere from a late '70s to mid-'80s production but I can't be sure. Seemed a little 'disneyesque' or 'afternoon movie'ish in terms of style since it definitely wasn't a horror film or A-movie. I thought the title had something like "Run (name) run!" but after doing a search I didn't get anything like it. Any help with identifying this will be MUCH appreciated!

Kristen and Hayden Getting Close
Very interesting photo of these two hotties, but I can't help but imagine how much more awesome it would have been had their mouths been sealed tight with tape and their arms tied around one another.

Call me crazy Stpeh but I thought this was Brian's page, not Stpehani's. What makes you think you have the right to warn anyone of anything much less, feel that your words should mean a earn to us. Believe it or not, the bondage world doesn't revolve around you and your precious site that you only have cause you were lucky enough to inherit it. I'd suggest to you to keep ego of yours in check every once in awhile and remember how much clout you actually have.

I believe they are joking around, but I'll remind people
not to engage in that sort of thing here. It's at best
and in-joke, and at worst a confusing and uncomfortable
situation for others.

The Trade Page has looser restrictions on that sort of
thing, if you're so inclined.

Chuck
NBC is apparently ordering a full season of Chuck. Good news, obviously. Next week's episode, like most, has plenty of potential. If this show stays around for a couple of years, its sure to deliver several classic scenes.

Meanwhile Bionic Woman is on life support and is likely to be cancelled soon.

need a little help
Today I was in my nearest Blockbuster to rent some titles I knew had scenes when I ran across a couple that looked like good prospects. Before I think about renting them I wanted to check if anyone was familiar with them and could tell me whether it's worth the five bucks to rent them.
The most appealing had a closeup of a girl with light colored tape over her mouth and was titled THE SEARCH FOR THE BTK KILLER.
The second one had the most appealing title imaginable. GAG and had a closeup of a girl with some kind of contraption in her mouth that seemed to stretch her mouth. From the description it was a movie in the SAW & HOSTEL vein which normally is not very appealing to me. Checked the database and found nothing on these two. Can anybody help me?
