Tin Man miniseries
I just thought I'd mention it for the completists here, but I haven't seen anyone bring up the Sci-fi channel's re-imagined version of the Wizard of Oz called Tin Man (please forgive me if it has been mentioned). The "Dorothy" equivalent (played by Zooey Deschanel) had her arms strapped to a chair for a kind of interrogation in the first of three parts (each part is two hours). There wasn't much to the scene as far as what's on topic here, but I did enjoy the miniseries overall. I think the entire series replays this Sunday, and I'm sure it will be on many other times.

new Rambo movie
did anyone else catch the promo recently? My DVR allowed me to slow it down and I saw a blonde (Julie Benz pic'd below) tied up arms/wrists behind on the floor very briefly, partially obstructed. I found the same situation in the linked trailer at about the 1:40 mark.

ABC FAMILY
ABC Family is airing some holiday movies, two which might have some potential. First one is Christmas in Handcuffs" with Melissa Joan Hart. She kidnaps a guy to be pose as her boyfriend and the print ads show them handcuffed together. Hopefully he'll turn the tables on her.

The other is Christmas Caper which features Shannon Doherty(sp?) as a Theif who babysits her niece and nephew and learns life lessons. Hopefully the keywords thief and babysits will equal a bondage scene for Shannon.

And here is the GQ shoot images.

Have to admit that she looks stunning - though the guy with the dumb look on his face in some of the snaps kind of spoils this. If you take a look at the images, she distinctly looks in command and letting your imagination run - it is as if she told this bozo to blindfold and tie her hands behind her.

that's a really good point. they should have cropped him out.

on the subject of this now do you all know of any other similar spreads with models? better yet is there a website somebody could direct me to? thanks.

I've previously posted a link to this fashion editorial, entitled 'satin bondage' in the current Pelle Vogue.
http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/f78/italian-vogue-pelle-september-2007-ph-mark-squires-60813.html
scroll down for all the images.

European magazines are much better than American in this respect. If you like tied up hands, the current Paris Vogue has a spread with hands modelling watches and restrained in different ways (handcuffs, tape, etc).

Damn, had hopes for a lengthy scene for Deschanel, an actress high on my "oh lord, please let them do a FT scene, with on screen gagging" list :)

I have a few scans from Vogue magazines (USA version) that I've put on photobucket (link below). The handcuffed girl was from the Sept. 2002 issue. I don't remember what issue the scarf/belt ad is from.

The future of Fakes\Manips?
I don’t know if this is worth discussing or not but it seems that as technology improves, we might get to the point someday where fake photographs and possibly even digital videos could be made depicting any actress we would like to see bound and gagged.

I am wondering what this might mean for our interest. What if these videos and photos were so good a person couldn’t tell the real from the fake. Or what if, for example, you could change Michelle Pfeiffer’s OVM gag in Charlie Chan to a tape gag? And what if the only what to tell it was a fake was to check it against the original?

Would this sort of technology be the beginning of something great for us or would we feel a little cheated by the fakes?

Future of Fakes
The technology is already good enough for photos. All it takes is someone talented enough to do it and there are many who are talented enough. I don't ever think it will replace the real thing however in terms of satisfaction for the viewer. I also think most people prefer video to photos and I don't know how you could fake a video and even if you could, would it be all that satisfying?

I was also disappointed (DiD-wise, the story was VERY entertaining), but what I couldn't get over was how similar in expression, timing, voice, and *all* aspects of delivery Zoe was to *Emily* Deschanel. Several times, when "DG" (Zoe) said something, it was like she was channeling "Bones"! This is a GREAT guest-starring opportunity waiting to happen... except the writers would have to shoe-horn in new sibling, previously unknown, for Temperance Brennan... but wouldn't *that* be a sister/sister DiD-scene worth daydreaming about??

I read an article about young models in provacative ads some years ago. One interview with a young model (ahem, 'couldn't drink in a pub') said she preferred to do Euro shoots because they were more creative and took more chances. She spoke of one ad in particular that featured her stepping out of the surf wearing chains (I think collared as well). She was told by the agency that it wouldn't publish in america because ads such as these were perceived to 'portray women in a demeaning light' and would get panned. Apparently, there are some they are willing to do in the states, and some not.

Justice League comic
The new Justice League comic has a rather lame ending to the JLA being captured by the Injustice League. The baddies are surprised by Firestorm, a JLAer thought to be out of action. While he keeps them talking the League are freed off caamera by Batman, so we don't get to see even one frame of additional bondage.

Funny Games-Naomi Watts
There is conflicting pictures for the Funny Games remake. The existing Preview does not show evidence of a stuff gag while the new age restricted preview shows Naomi Watts with loosened rope strands around her neck. I am pessimistic but hopeful.

Zooey is VERY high on my wish list too
Y'all know lovely blue eyes are my biggest weakness.
I thought the miniseries was GREAT I loved the writing the story and acting and especially Zooey and Kathleen Robertson delivered AMAZING acting performances.

That one on Tuesday was Karyme Lozano, not sure who the blonde tonight was.

No shot of her hands, but you can see teh long black cord that dangles from it when he makes her stand up. No shot of her being untied.

Karyme is now in the kitchen with her hands bound in front and feet tied at around the 42' mark.

Got that, blonde at 32' and Karyme is now restrained (no gag) at 42' (on going).

Oh yeah, thanks hallbird for the alert on Tues or I would not have watched tonight's episode.

No more of Karyme after the 42', but preview for tomorrow's show her setting on floor hold a girl with a "shoe string" tied loosely around her hands. Still no gag.

Reminds me of the time back in HS (many many years ago) when I was stage crew on "The Crucible", the very cute lead girl had a hands-tied behind the back scene, my job among others was to untie her once her scene ended. She hated being tied and I made it a point to take as long as humanly possible to untie her.
