Considering there's a Tom Cruise look-a-like a little earlier in that sketch, it's probably a Shania look-a-like as well. But she is quite a looker in her own right and there's enough time in the scene for a few good photo stills to be taken. |

Thursday December 06 12:30:32 2007 Walk All Over Me |
Helfer — who spends much of Walk All Over Me clad in skimpy bondage outfits — knew little about S&M before taking on the part and delved head first into researching the subculture, all the while dispelling myths she held about fetishism. _________________________ She must have learned something being B&G in the film 'Memory' BTW, is that a putz? |
Thursday December 06 13:12:05 2007 Hand gag in ghost whisperer |

I see that the first season (which includes these episodes) is out on DVD, but it looks to me as though there aren't any extras in that set. |

Thursday December 06 15:50:23 2007 Extremely Rare Scene at Video Page |
Title: Twister's Revenge (1987) Medium: Movie Actress: Meredith Orr Description: US movie about a talking truck in which the truck owner's girlfriend (played by Meredith Orr) is kidnapped by three guys. She's dressed only in panties, socks and shirt. They tie her to a chair (feet, hands & waist) and gag her on- screen with a tight cleave and packing. To speed up tension there's also a ticking time bomb next to her. Until her rescue at the end of the movie we get to see her mmmphing and struggling a lot, especially when the truck comes nearer and her boyfriend can't hear her mmphings or when one of her abductors wants to feed her. The whole running time of Orr's scenes is about four minutes, but they're distributed among almost the whole movie. |

civil wrote: > civil wrote: > Karyme is now in the kitchen with her hands bound in > No more of Karyme after the 42',... I admire your diligence, but can you or someone else explain to me the need for a 'constantly updated alert' on the same show? I think it's great to post an immediate alert in case you happen to be online at the moment a scene occurs but I fail to see the reason for constantly updating for the same show while it's still airing. It's just more to scroll thru the next day for other people (especially those with slower connections). |

I'm especially skeptical about the "slower connections" angle. Text posts are as low-bandwidth as it gets: even if you're on a 2400-baud modem left over from the '80s, a few extra posts will not slow you down to any significant degree. The last seven days of text posted to this forum add up to about 77KB. That's less than even the single update image I posted earlier this afternoon. Meanwhile, it doesn't seem likely that a little extra scrolling will give you carpal tunnel. |

I think it would probably be sufficient to post a "breaking news" alert here, then a recap with times for the west coasters. I understand the point of the "unsigned" poster. I won't be deleting anything (at this point anyway) but let's try to make it a little easier for everyone. |

Thursday December 06 21:24:10 2007 Site update |
Updated the site with a golden oldie review from Jollyroper days, "Roman Scandals of 1934," which featured a dance number with nude slavegirls chained to an ancient layer cake of Rome. We kid you not ... this got in just before the Hayes Code rang down the curtain on this sort of stuff for the next 30 years or so. One of the slavegirls was ... Lucille Ball! |

Sure Civil is one of the top contributors to this page, VHS Machine Alerts, DB Corrections and the Database. People complained about no US Alerts and US shows not making it into Database and he stepped up, in a big way. What you're reading here will end up as very precise entries for US shows. |

Thursday December 06 22:43:02 2007 Near miss on "Earl" tonight |
Don't know if any of you caught "My Name Is Earl" on NBC tonight. Jamie Pressley had a near-miss scene. Escaping prisoner said to her, "sorry I have to do this to you." The next time you see her she has already untied herself and has rope around her wrist. You know what they say about hand grenades and horseshoes -- only time when almost is good enough. |
