I can only think of two possibilities there: whether it's Julie Berman or Kirsten Storms. Either way, I definitely won't mind. |

I realized that when we had the dispute why there are missed or late alerts. I have it on tape, but have not had the chance to come across it when converting to DVD. Next week will be a chance for me to get a better copy of it. |

I'm trying to remember the title of an old miniseries, late 70's early 80's, originally aired on WPIX now called the "CW", starred Andrew Stevens and I believe David Keith, time period around the time colonizers were either waging war or just settling in with native american indians. They had a few period miniseries around this time, one title I do remember is "The Patriot" although that one didn't feature any scenes (or maybe it's the one I'm searching). Anyway, the plot was about a young (teens) brother and sister, possibly twins, who were naively traveling alone across the wilderness (or unsettled country) and she was disguised as a boy as to not attract too much attention. They came across a traveling preacher(?) who they trusted a little too much and revealed her identity around a campfire. A later scene, well shot, showed a slow pan across his prone body, seemingly asleep until you see a bottle that knocked him out, then the sound of struggling and 'mphing'. A cut (or pan) reveals the preacher straddling the sister and holding HOM while he tears open her bodice and leers at her. Later scenes show him 'tricking' her out to other travelers while she's sitting on horseback hands bound in front, she's then led into a tent; another shows her being sold to indians and made the wife of a warrior. A brunette, not familiar The miniseries was about him (Andrew Stevens) trying to track her down with the help of some guy (Keith?) and at the end of it all she decides to stay with the indian tribe (wasn't a bad series in fact). Any title help with this much appreciated. |

Saturday December 29 16:33:14 2007 I found a cool video game scene |
OK, so basically I started playing the WWE 24/7 mode on WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2008 and was suprised to find a little scene in there. So basically playing through the 24/7 mode and I end up in a feud with Umaga and Randy Orton, the fun starts before one of the Raw episodes where you get a mysterious phonecall from Melina telling you that "he's after me" suddenly Melina stops speaking in mid-sentence and you are just left with a dialtone. Then at the next week's Raw there's a cutscene backstage. You see Melina sitting on the floor tied up in front of some crates, the character your playing as then goes over to her to untie her but is ambushed by Umaga while Armando Estrada lurks in the background and (apparently) unties Melina (hard to tell because the focus is on Umaga beating up your character) it is then revelealed that Estrada used Melina as bait to set up the assualt, the thing that made it seem more like a realistic thing and more of a find to me is the fact that Melina is not seen again througout the entire feud. the following dialogue is also included JR: Hey that's Melina King: and she's all tied up Your Character: hold on, I'll untie you Just thought I'd share that with you all =) |
Saturday December 29 16:34:55 2007 Another Unknown Film |
Back in the late 70's/early 80's (when I was a child), I was watching TV and noticed a scene with Two teenagers, I think they were boy and girl, I am not sure because it was so long ago. Anyway, the movie was a thriller or drama. The scene goes like this.... The parents come home from somewhere in the late evening and they come into the house to find their two teenage children tied up and gagged, I am pretty sure the house was robbed or something. This scene was so long ago that I do not know any other details other than in the movie, the father was mean but he did not tie his kids up. Hope someone remembers this scene/movie. |

Saturday December 29 16:41:15 2007 Yet another old unknown scene .... |
Another scene I remember as a kid around the late 70's/early 80's was a movie for kids. It was a British movie and I think they played it on cinemax. The scene involved a Father, son and their young daughter. The bad people tie up the father first and then the son, and after awhile, they tie up the daughter and they are held inside either a cave or a sewer tunnel. I remember the girl in the movie was named Polly because the father asks Polly if she can get untied and after trying with her hands tied behind her back with rope, Polly does get untied only to be caught and have her arm twisted behind her by one of the captors and after the father makes the captor feel guilty about harming a child, the captor unties the father and son and allows them to tie him up so they can flee. I also seem to remember there were lots of tractor trailer trucks (semis) in the movie. I saw this movie around 1980. Hope this scene can be identified. |

I have this scene. The title is "The Seekers" (1979).The movie was in a series of three. The damsel is Sarah Rush (Rigel of Battlestar Galatica). She role was Amanda Kent. A quick look at some spoiler sites yielded four possible character names: Monica gets into trouble; Liz is attacked; Sam wants to be bait for the killer; Lulu is snatched. (Some of these may be old.) Anyway, the killer is apparantly a strangler, so that may lessen the possibility of a bondage scene. "Lulu" sounds the most promising. |

On the Blockbuster DID site there is a scene from Superboy and it looks like a young Gail O'Grady with the full treatment. |

The last picture, the older woman is actress Corinne Conley. In her younger days on "Days Of Our Lives" during the 70's she was pretty hot. |

Then, Lulu is the most logical choice. The alert specifically told about a blond getting handgagged and neither Rebecca Herbst or Kelly Monaco are blondes (unless Sam decides to dye her hair to lure the killer). I haven't watched a whole lot of GH lately (no reason really to for a couple of weeks) but I'd be surprised if it was Monica... |

Damn, I might have to start playing that 24/7 mode all over again since I never saw this. Okay, I skipped the mode just to get money to unlock the arenas and unlockable wrestlers but I didn't want to sit through all of that...Do you remember around what time this happens in the story mode? Funny thing is that WWE seems to do that a lot with their videogames. My friend told me the other day that there was a similar story in Smackdown vs RAW 2007 where it's Stephanie McMahon who's kidnapped but I didn't get that far in the season mode to see if that's actually true. Anyone who has played the game can confirm this? |
