You sure? don't believe seen anyone deleted for something Brian "just didn't want to read"? Figure "Unproductive" is Brian's polite way of saying it, but he's been bashed acid over some things he didn't even post. What often happens when people take offence to certain topics. Who wants hassles? Really, this page created so he could gather scenes Say this Pat, knowing you're a good guy and mostly likely didn't mean it to sound like Brian's rulings based on "mood" |

Jay L wrote: > You sure? > don't believe seen anyone deleted for something Brian > "just didn't want to read"? Yeah, I'm sure. Topics such as no-gag clauses in actress' contracts, real life bondage, commercial bondage, etc. Pofoz's Page has sections called "Real Life" "Conspiracy Theories" and "Commercial Bondage" where these topics can be discussed. Now, I understand that the rationale for some of these rules isn't just that Brian "does't want to read" them, but it doesn't matter, really: it's Brian's Page, and he can do as he likes on it. Pofoz offers a chance to engage in these discussions if you wanna. For the record, I can see how some discussion topics could lead to board wars and other silliness that might ultimately endanger the site, or at the least, be a huge pain in the ass, and it would be dumb to let a valuable resource like the scene database and VCR Alerts get squelched over them. So I agree with Brian's ban in some cases, disagee in others, even if I see his point. > Really, > this page created so he could gather scenes > Say this Pat, knowing you're a good guy and mostly likely > didn't mean it to sound like Brian's rulings based on "mood" I didn't mean it to sound like that. Brian has seen some of these topics crop up a zillion time on his page, to no real effect, so why shouldn't he ban them simply because they're unproductive? I don't consider that "mood" more like "experience." It's also a matter of taste. I could debate "no gag contract" for a long time. I think the whole concept is a hoot. I understand that not everybody does. |

Wednesday January 30 08:23:04 2008 Scarlett Johansson - to good to be true? |
Rumour has it that the script for action thriller "Brilliant" (due probably 2009) contains the following scene: In her luxury hotel room, the lead role, a beautiful jewel thief, gags herself "with a torn sleeve of her silk pajama" and utilizes a long curtain cord to "bind herself most convincingly, twisting and turning her body in an acrobatic fashion"... As it’s part of an intricate time plan, she’s granted just "twenty seconds to render herself completely helpless". Well, the lead character is played by Scarlett Johansson, and this movie might be worth looking forward to. |

See where you're coming from, but sort of disagree. (Due to regular posts in along with the Editor ID/Notes.) See one period there requests for more varied topics, Brian set that up. Something you've been consistent with wanting. But there was a period afterward of demands for a crackdown and more Moderator involvement and Brian cracked down. Now appears back to requests for more varied topics. So to me, appears Brian been trying to do what the boys request and getting into a "damned if do, damned if don't" hassle |

I have been "remembering" a scene like that for a long long time which I was sure was Ms. Powers in U.N.C.L.E. but I could never find mention of it anywhere and was starting to believe that it had been another actress on another show or just something I had dreamed up. It would be great and reassuring to know that one of my "Holy Grails" really is out there somewhere and that my memory isn't getting any worse than I already know it is. |

Yes--she is buried in sand after being tied up. (I'm really annoyed by the rule that makes you type extra text rather than just post an answer to a question). |

Hollywoody wrote: > Rumour has it that the script for action thriller > "Brilliant" (due probably 2009) contains the > following scene... Where did you find this "rumour"? The only info I was able find was that it's based on a story by Gillian Gorfil and Nicholas Lorentz. Hate to be skeptical but considering the male lead hasn't even been cast yet it's hard to imagine details of the screenplay have been released already. Scripts usually go thru a lot of changes before the cast is set and cameras are about to roll. The idea of Johansson engaging in self-bondage is too good to be true; this would rival Alicia Silverstone's take in another film years ago. |

James Gagney wrote: > Is it airing tonight ? CM is a repeat tonight, title is Children of the Dark, about home invasions. One Tree Hill is a new episode that says it's a "flashback" episode of the last year which had a good scene. In NY, wwor "my network" 9 has an escape artist show at 9 PM EST so maybe something but it's doubtful. Law and Order is a new episode but does not sound promising in description and of course there is no preview video on the NBC site, again. Everything else is a repeat |

Scarlett Johansson to star in “Brilliant” May 19th, 2006 Scarlett Johansson will topline director Barry Levinson’s heist film Brilliant, from Millennium Films and Emmett/Furla Films. The film, which will head into production in September, follows Johansson as a jewel thief who teams up with a conman to pull off the biggest heist in history. However, the duo’s relationship is fraught with twists and turns. Gillian Gorfil and Elizabeth Shorten wrote the screenplay, based on a story by Gorfil and Nicholas Lorentz. Brilliant is being produced by Avi Lerner, Randall Emmett, Melanie Johansson and Gorfil. Boaz Davidson, George Furla, Danny Dimbort and John Thompson will executive produce. Lerner expects the movie to be a wide release in September 2007. |

The old rule on newsgroups (back in the day when people paid attention to rules) was at least 50% new content. Of course, I'm sure people are annoyed by the no top-posting rule too, but tough. |

Well, I disagree. I was trying to answer a simple question, without trimming so much of the material that it wasn't clear what question I was answering. |

There is yet another movie coming out about the BTK Killer, this one is starring Kane Hodder as the killer. The site below has a couple of stills from the film, including one of a bound victim in bra and panties. |
