Well, I won't say too far necessarily. Just poking a bit of fun at Tapemaster, and a bit at myself for my UE-related posts, and perhaps a tiny bit at the moderator. You know, long-weekend silliness. I won't extend it further. :)

Dutifully Tivoed this. Nothing at all of interest in this, unless you're a fan of campy 1970s comedy.

Actually, I've been Tivoing this show every day for the past 2 months or so, trying to catch a holy grail episode that I heard of long ago but isn't in the DB. All I can remember is it involves a blackout, a burglar, and a damsel tied with a lot of rope to a chair. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

I think there were about 100 hour-long episodes that were cut into half-hours, so it could be a very long wait.

I remember this scene. I saw it when I was about 9 years old, (I'm 12 now....only joking!). My memory is a little hazy, but the damsel was brunette, really attractive, tied to a chair and cleave gagged on screen. She was the central figure in that particular episode and had the hots for a suave, European type who did not speak much English. After the burglar did the job and left, her love interest walks into the room. She thinks it's her golden opportunity, to be rescued by this handsome foreigner. This is where it gets hazy, for some reason he either can not see her or does not acknowledge that she is in distress. That's all I remember. I guess I wasn't all that interested in the stupid plot!

Not sure if you know, but backwoods is on pay-per-view right not. Unfortunately though, I haven't payed my cable bill yet, so I'm blocked from renting movies.

It does! All I know is that I was little and it was amazing and I've not even gotten close to seeing it again. I remember she was awkward and naive and the way she was gagged was just great.

Well the "blackout" & "burglar" takes us back to clearing the Stuart Margolin ep in the DB.
Particularly this favoured:

====

ep: "Love and the Burglar"

"In New York, a struggling second-story man from England tries to burglarize an equally struggling compatriot."
Tracy Reed (Blackout Player),
Lynne Marta (Blackout Player),
William Callaway (Blackout Player),
Buzz Cooper (Blackout Player),
Stuart Margolin (Blackout Player),
Mary Grover (Blackout Player),
Barbara Minkus (Blackout Player)

===============================================

Figure if you run those ladies through Google-Image, you may recognise?

Not bad for hazy memories there old guys. ;)

I thought this was the one, too, but I saw "Love and the Burglar" a few weeks ago and it wasn't that one. The burglar in that one ended up being the long-lost ex of the woman, and they just have a nice conversation in the bedroom before the police arrive and take him away. No blackout involved at all. Maybe there were two segments with that title? It's possible -- remember that they've had to rejigger the segments to rerun them in a 30-minute format.

Frankie Howard I Believe
I remember seeing a youtube clip of a comedy movie with Frankie Howard in which a girl is bound and gagged and is about to have a concrete block broken on her, with her consent. But, because she is gagged she can not explain that she consents.

Can someone remind me of the name of the movie and better still point me to the clip

Record number: 1114

Title: Who Done It? (1956)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Belinda Lee

Description: Suprisingly funny movie featuring Benny Hill. The film emphasizes slapstick over double entendres (seems more like a Bob Hope or Danny Kaye vehicle than one for Benny Hill). Anyway, Benny is part of an ice skating troupe who wins 100 pounds, gets fired from his skating jobs due to various pratfalls and decides to try his hand at his dream job -- private investigator. He stumbles upon Frankie Mayne (Lee) who is practicing her circus escape routine by asking a friend to bind and detective gag her with a dark cloth. Thinking she's in peril, he slings her over his shoulder and carries her to 'safety.'

Maybe there were two segments with that title?

There's a "Dream Burglar" and an "Intruder" that haven't been cleared yet.
There was a burglar plot with Julie Newmar (Big Night, or something?)
but the old guys here claim not her

Often one of the old guys memory clicks and we'll narrow down... We'll get it

Re: turn the tables
Two excellent examples spring to mind - The Avengers episode 'Stay Tuned' where a captive Linda Thorson overpowers a very slinky Kate O'Mara and binds and gags her. Some fantastic close-ups of Kate cleave gagged and mmmphfing beyond the call of duty.
The other obvious example is the Kay Kyser 1940's film 'My Favorite Spy' where Jane Wyman, who plays an allied spy, gets the treatment from her female captive.
Both are outstanding examples of turning-the-tables bondage!

Well you could probably count the uber classic "Gravediggers" scene from The Avengers, as I'm sure you#d expected to believe that the previously trussed up evil nurse, tied up by Miss Peel, helped in gagging and tying Miss Peel to the tracks later in the show....

The actress name is Susan Tolsky And the episode might be "Love and the Trampled Passion" but I wouldn't bet on it. Her longest running role was on "Madame's Place" where she also had a scene if senility has left anything upstairs.

I recall an Italian movie in which this happened. It was about that superhero who wears a silly black outfit and whose love interest is always being kidnapped and bound and gagged by the villains.
In this movie, the sweet, beautiful, and innocent brunette with short hair is bound and gagged by the seductive, dastardly, besutiful brunette with long hair. She is struggling on a bed while the long-haired brunette taunts her. In the next scene in which they appear, the long-haired brunette is the one who is bound and gagged. The method by which the sweet, innocent brunette escaped and overpowered her captor is never shown.

I'm not completely gone....
I've ended my website, but my Poser bondage artwork lives on at Deviant Art. I've just started up the account there today, and all the art you see is completely new.

I will update soon, but only whenever I have something to add.

I'd also like to thank John Quincannon, who posted here, and others, for their kind words of support.

Re; Love, american style
I guess the actress being tied to the post by Stuart Margolin in that yet to be identified episode probably was Phyllis Davis after all. With no small amount of wishful thinking making me believe it was Kathy Kersh.

Re: Re; Love, american style
I remember the scene like it was last week...or was it 1969..? The episode was "Love and the Flamenco Dancer". The plot basically was that a woman (Susan Tolsky) was in love with a guy (the Flamenco dancer) in the apartment above hers. In an effort to meet him, she set up detour signs in the hallway and stairs so that all traffic has to pass through her apartment. One of the first guys to pass through turns out to be a burglar. He he ties her to a chair, cleave gags her (there's great dialog between them) and then turns the stereo up. Then when the Flamenco guy passes through he can't hear her with the gag and the loud music. Anyway, yeah I'd love to get a copy of this scene...I have no idea what season it appeared in.

NCSI
Did anyone see the latest episode of NCSI, titled Requiem. I only caught the first twenty minutes of the episode but when I left a young blond had just been forced into a jeep by her ex boyfriend/stalker. Was there some bondage afterwards?
