Saturday March 22 01:04:34 2008 Man of the Century |
I recently saw this movie for the second time. The besutiful brunette Cara Buono is bound and gagged twice in this movie. I noted something interesting during her first bondage scene. She is bound and gagged as part of a sex game; her gag is a strip of rubber, not leather, as the Database Entry states. How do I know this? I have an almost identical strip of rubber at home, which I have used to gag girlfriends. This rubber strip tied over a damsel's mouth is basically useless as a gag; it does not adhere tightly enough to the mouth to efectively silence the damsel, and furthermore, cannot be tied very securely. It can be worked free with minimal effort. I wonder if it was used as a prop in that scene because it just happened to be lying around somewhere? |

Saturday March 22 08:47:08 2008 HBO On Demand Alert |
The HBO special Katie Morgan: Sex Toys features a section on bondage sex toys, with scenes of naked women in bondage and also pony girls pulling a person cart. It's available On Demand for those who have it through April 1. Also, Katie hosts the entire episode in the nude and shows some talent for physical comedy as she plays with various sex toys. Fun special apart from the bondage, actually. |

Received my copy of Volume 3 yesterday. It's not the full color version I was anticipating from the previews but still good nonetheless, especially the chapter about A.R.R.! |

The Philippine Islanders go for "X" binding more. Hong Kong has the warped Pontius Pilate cross bondage scenes. Both set in modern & what the term? (Period dramas?) be with all the gals in cheong-sam dresses. like: Record number: 12256 Title: The Gentle Crackdown Medium: Soap Opera Actress: Niki Chow Description: Hong Kong soap where she's chained arms spread to a wooden cross === This entry sounds Philippine Islander {{Well Mason? Is it??}} Record number: 10963 Title: Basta't Kasama Kita Medium: Soap Opera Actress: Judy Ann Santos Description: She is tied to a cross and cleave-gagged with cloth while wearing jeans, shirt and a black jacket. At least with one close-up. ====== But is it your warped Pontius Pilate style? Or like this Philippine Islander film: ==== Record number: 3021 Title: Tong-Its (1996) Medium: Movie Actress: Jessica Gracia Cortez, Unknown Description: Philippines movie where Jessica is tied standing against 2 crossed poles, hands over head, ankles to the poles, on top of a building. Also, earlier on Jessica and an unknown are hand-cuffed to their police protectors. It's a comedy, the two police officers are bumblers, hence Jessica's reluctance to be guarded by them. (reasoning behind the hand-cuff scene). Funny scene with the four of them trying to eat dinner at a table while hand-cuffed together. ================================== "against 2 crossed poles" is really your standard "bondage X" you'd see at a scene event. I believe majorjohns.com has some Japanese ones as well? I'll have to look up the HK movies clips, but as mentioned, in our run through Philippine Island movies never did see the type of scenes that you'd expect, considering that Easter tradition there Mason? You'd know |

Saturday March 22 14:56:08 2008 Funny Games |
Yeah, Funny Games was great. The gag wasn't quite as great as the original, but it was still probably one of the best gags in American cinema ever. The second scene was great as well and the hopping was fun to watch. The movie isn't quite as good as the Austrian original due to a few things, but it was still disturbing enough that I think most people might want to wait for the DVD so they can get to the DID scenes without being overwhelmed by the movie itself. |

Saturday March 22 17:46:48 2008 Anyone remember? |
Real old scene that I think about occasionally; wondering if anyone else remembers it. It was a tv show I believe, probably late '50's or real early '60's. A woman had been kidnapped or at least was being held by a man and woman. She was being held in a garage or basement. For some reason the female captor kills the man. She then unties the woman, expecting her to be grateful. But the captive says she intends to report the woman and starts to walk away. The female captor then takes off one of her own high heels and follows the released woman off-camera, raising her arm and obviously about to club. Next scene the female captor is backing her car out of the driveway but is stopped by police or FBI or whatever. They open the trunk and find the B&G captive inside. Unfortunately no VCRs or internet back in those days. Ring any bells for long-timers here? |

Jute wrote: > Real old scene that I think about occasionally; wondering You are describing a Holy Grail scene from the 1960 syndicated show Brothers Brannagan. I remember much of the scene the way you described it. I have been looking for it forever. I have not yet found it. The show is listed and I have looked for episodes with two featured female characters. There is a DVD of 12 episodes and other single video episodes but have not yet found it. |

Yes, Cohen is correct and it is currently on the Pay Movies On Demand. I paid the $5.95 to check out the scenes. Nice decent scenes but were not very long. Erika is a nice hottie though for her second time around as a DiD. |

I went to my local comic shop and picked up my copy of Empowered 3 today. I was pleased to see they had a ton of copies on display ... they'd clearly ordered a lot more probably based on the way Volumes 1 and 2 got snatched up. Hope they sell out again in no time ... I did my bit to see that they did! |

Actually, if you plan on *actually* *watching* a made-for-SciFi-Channel "movie", the 10 or 12 beers are *REQUIRED*... unless you have some other way of halving your IQ and numbing your aesthetic soul. :-) |

Very funny! I agree completely! As a West Coast resident, I would like to ask those contributors to this board who reside on the East Coast to please inform us West Coast residents when during the movie the actress is bound and gagged. |

The technique I find useful is the MST3K them as you watch them. Keeps the brain going as the plot and characterization limp along. Also, I've got a great idea for a filk theme song for this movie -- just base in on the B-52's "Rock Lobster." Rock! Rock! Rock Monster! OK, the beers might work, too. |

Just after the 30 min mark, Cassandra (Natalie Flemming) is handgagged as she sleeps. The villain then knocks her out. After the commercial break, she's shown being carried OTS. Her hands are bound in front as are her ankles and gagged with white OTM. Villain sets her down, ungags her to gloat for awhile, re-gags her and leaves her sitting alone out in the woods. A few minutes later, the Rock Monster and the villain reappear and she is ungagged again for more monologuing. When next we see Cassandra again minutes later, she's in the villains lair untied and ungagged. In the last 10 minutes, Cassandra is b&g again outside as the villain prepares to do whatever is they do in bad sci-fi flicks. She's rescued and ungagged by the hero. BTW, Natalie Flemming is pretty hot. From the previews, I thought she was wearing some medievil gown or something, but it's just a red overcoat and tight red slacks. Good scene overall despite a bad movie. |

I now know when to be especially vigilant, and when I can take bathroom breaks! So the actress who is bound and gagged is named Cassandra Fleming, and she spends most of the movie as the captive of the dastardly villain? |

Thanks, Madfish. My cable's been acting Comcastic (which I never use as a compliment) all day -- just in time for the NCAA tournament, naturally -- so I may or may not be able to grab a decent clip. The good news is that, if I or anyone else misses it, it's airing again at 1AM PST/EST tonight and 9PM next Thursday, 3/27. |

Saturday March 22 23:32:41 2008 Watching Hockey? Question?? |
Hey, No luck recapturing on vid myself, {{YET!}}, but did any Canucks, or Northern Yanks catch that "Days of Darkness" ad during the games? Looking good, least one OTM scene going on. As said, I never have luck with ads, so it airing on TV? Or out on DVD? Any assist appreciated |

The actresses names is Natalie Flemming (per IMDB) and the character in the movie is named Cassandra. She only gets captured by the villain in the last half hour. The scenes are only a minute or so and spread between lots of bad dialogue. If you record the last half hour you'll catch all of it. |

A note about times...when I watched it, the action with the handgagging didn't start until the 1:30:30 mark, which would be in the last 30 minutes, NOT 30 minutes in. THEN, we have the commercial break, and, after 5 minutes or so have passed, we see her being carried tied & gagged. She's set down in the woods, ungagged & regagged, and then seen again in the last 10 minutes being carried by the Rock Monster, tied & gagged. The monster sets her down, the fight occurs, then she's rescued. I guess the point is...the action beings in the last 30 minutes, NOT 30 minutes into the movie. |
