Friday March 07 02:02:52 2008 UK Series alert - Ashes to Ashes |
Just to let you all know there is a scene in this series next Thursday featuring Keeley Hawes who some may know previously from the series Spooks that I think has been shown abroad. Ashes to Ashes is the follow up to the series called Life on Mars and features Hawes as a police psychologist who is transported back to the 80s after seemingly going in to a coma. Previews of next weeks episode show her lying down wearing a loose cleave gag in what seems to be one of the dream sequences and a clown is looking down at her. Doesn't make sense but I don't think it is meant to ! |

The preview scene is the same as what was shown today. It wasn't shown how she got into this predicament or how she was rescued. Only talk about it - "she's shaken up but okay". Posted an update with today's action at the blog site. |

Wow you're all missing out - I'll have to check out the Naomi Watts one *blush* Anyway I think for me what works is the romance in the black and white of the original. It's not to do with technical proficiency - I have acted in a few low budget films and been a damsel on about three occasions - not really films for this forum but brought up because I think I liked the one that was deliberately designed to look like a B&W adventure film I don't know what I'm trying to say but I thought the remake was a bit over-blown really |

Is there a scene in the 60's version of She, I've not watched the old one but a quick check of the database didn't see anything? Funny thinking of the film from the 60's as new :0) Thanks Anubis |

For your consideration: In Cold Blood (B&W in 1967, color in 1996) The Hunchback of Notre Dame (the indisputable "quintfecta" record-holder, with B&W in 1923 and 1939 and color in 1956, 1982, and 1997) If we don't restrict ourselves to B&W vs. color, there are others -- including of course Michael Haneke's shot-for-shot remake of his own notorious "Funny Games," due on April 4. |

Well, if the damsel is Margarita Magana, then it is her second cleave-treatment; the first one appeared in the final episodes of "Verdad Occulta" (2006), which had an additonal one for Galilea Montijo + Alejandra Barros + Claudia Troyo and one more for an unknown damsel, who got huge packing for her cleave). |

Yes, that's her. I caught the scene and it's not bad, but for gag fans there was only about 1 second of the black cleave gag - and her arms were being held for that, and it's not a closeup. Later, she's tied loosey to a chair (and the guy is in another chair back to back with hers). But she's still in the bikini so it's not bad. She keeps yelling at her captors and they never get the hint to gag her, though at one point she shuts her mouth tight when a gun is put in her face, and there's some entertainment there. At the very beginning she also gets a decent handgag. All in all not terrible, and still worthwhile since she's in her bikini, but could have been better. Sounds like there are more scenes on the way in the near future though. :) Incidentally, anyone who digs sexy maid attire, check out this show. You'll be glad you did. |

Or the remake--now with 50% more chains!--of the scene from Angels in Chains at the beginning of the first Charlies Angels movie. |

Friday March 07 19:05:10 2008 10,000BC |
The newly released movie 10,000BC contains a couple of marginal scenes involving Camilla Belle, who is just downright insanely gorgeous. She's bound hands-in-front through a good portion of the film. There is a one-second handgag in which one of the bad guys is going to do some old-fashioned nastyness but is stopped at the last minute. Towards the end she's tied arms-to-her-sides to two horses. Like I said, marginal, but that handgag will make a yummy DIDcap. |

I don't think cavemen invented rope. I would speculate that she is bound with either vines(if they grow in that frigid climate) or animal sinew(a more logical speculation). |

FACT: both males and females in 10,000 B.C. had telekinetic powers. Want someone tied up? Presto, they just are. It all would have worked, too, if not for that meddling evolution. |

Not to be argumentative, but who do you think *did* invent rope? Can you have basketry and *not* have rope-making skills? Twist some grass stems together and you have a yarn. Twist some yarns together and you have a string, braid some string and you have rope. Not to mention animal hair, bark strips, bamboo fibers, etc. Did neolithic cultures have rope? Yes. Did paleolithic cultures? Almost certainly. ...uh, this *is* Brian's Mainstream DiD-scenes and Anthropology Forum, right? :D |

Friday March 07 23:01:20 2008 Some details for "The Deal", por favor |
Record number: 11612 Title: The Deal (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Selma Blair Description: Kidnapped, tied to a bed and cleave gagged with a black cloth. ...Above is the complete DB entry for the Selma Blair scene[s] in the movie in question. Just about as skimpy as it can get, no?? Now that HBO is starting to show the movie on its array of channels [Sun. on HBO-Signature kicks it off], I have to ask whether anybody can add some details and possible timing for the scene[s]? Selma B. is one of my favorites, so I gotta ask. Thanks in advance. Hits = 1 Elapsed time: 0.102982997894 seconds |
