This infamous scene is from the movie "Abducted II: The Reunion". The three ladies are alumna from a boarding school who are celebrating a reunion by going on a camping trip. They first meet a nerdy and creepy park ranger, but the true villain is a deranged hermit named Vern(he actually bears an uncanny resemblance to the husband of a friend of mine).
Vern subdues each one individually, and when the ladies once again appear onscreen, they are bound and gagged together. They are tied to a tree stump and gagged with duct tape over their mouths. They make delectable "mmph" sounds through their gags.
The person who discovers them is the creepy park ranger; he is investigating their disturbed campsite, and then hears a chorus of "mmphs". He follows the sound, and discovers the trio of damsels bound and gagged together. They try to warn him off by shaking their heads and making imploring sounds through their gags, but to no avail; he is dispatched by Vern. He then proceeds to taunt them while they are bound and gagged.
I don't know if this movie has been converted to DVD format; I saw it in VHS format. You may try looking for it in the "Horror" section of a video store; it may still be stocked. Then again, it may have been converted to DVD format, as it may have a cult following.

CSI
I just watched the "Empty Eyes" episode of "CSI", and must admit that the brutal violence and gore detracted from my enjoyment of six beautiful women bound and gagged. My revulsion didn't totally supersede my delectation, but I could've done without the violence and gore. I will watch this episode whenever possible.
I understand that this episode was inspired by the horrific deeds of Richard Speck, who bound and gagged and brutally murdered multiple nursing students in this manner. I wish that the writers had modified the plot of this episode and excised the violence and gore. Couldn't the six women have been left alive, the victims of a home invasion robbery?
I would like to propose the plot of a future crime drama show, modeled after this one. Instead of having showgirls as victims, how about professional cheerleaders? A group of cheerleaders for a professional football or basketball team live together in a house or apartment, and are all bound and gagged by a home invader while wearing either their uniforms or practice outfits. The perpetrator may be a voyeur, who has fantasized about the cheerleaders bound and gagged in their uniforms, and commits this dastardly act in order to fulfill his fantasy.

Kaber Hero Kaber Zero
I posted a link to one "Kaber Hero Kaber Zero" video on the video page, but since I've found a few more scenes. Has anyone heard of this show, which seems to be Malaysian? The database didn't have it listed, but I wanted to ask first (mostly because I'm lazy, but also in case someone had a list).

Re: Missed opportunities - T.J. Hooker
Another one that had verbally inferred bondage was the episode from the last season (when CBS ran first-run episodes on their late-night programming block) where Hooker's daughter is kidnapped by a ex-cop. Whenh the ex-cop calls Hooker to taunt hin, he tells Hooker that his daughter is tied up someplace. Later on, when he's taking the daughter (who is not tied on teh scene) someplace, he tells her "do you want me to tie you up again?"

Land of the Blind scene
A political thriller called "Land of the Blind" was on cable tonight and out of the corner of my eye I saw a pic of what appeared to be a woman cleave gagged and bound arms in front. She appeared to be lying down. She also appeared to be on a TV screen, so it could have been a very brief scene. Anybody else seen it?

Okay

***** I ran a search for Nash Bridges. Nothing on the 100day forward even though there is a post on March 25, 2008. Going back 100 days, my first return is Dec. 31, 2007 eventhough there are alerts for 3/6, 2/5 and 1/10. ********

Civil already knows this, but for the new guys:

Get into trouble like above, switch to one rarest word. I went *Nash*
Forward = 4
Back = 12

Reason suggest is awhile back some jokers ran spaces into the titles to cause a search failure. Why? Don't know.

Gone through trying to sort this and found best results are with the single word search

Gilligan's Island: Little Island, Big Gun

Before the bad guy(Larry Storch), ties Skipper, Gilligan, and the Professor, to their beds, he tells them he has already tied up the other castaways.

I always thought it was a shame that they didn't show Mary Ann and Ginger's predicament.

Site Update
I've finally gotten around to updating my site with an article about the gag scene on Flash Gordon. (I've been sick for about a month, weak as a kitten and none too happy about it, but I'm back in form now.) You have to wonder how a series that can't do much right at all could manage a great drooling gag scene like this one. (OK, it's not really drool, but it sure LOOKS like it.)

Re: Congrats, Brian!
Wow, another year come & gone (but then I say the same thing at Christmas times!). Many thanks Brian for one of the best, most useful, and certainly most appreciated sites on the 'net. I feel most sorry for those into our hobby who have not found this site yet, but I'm sure they will locate us eventually! I'm just glad I found it when I did...many MANY great scenes would have slipped right past me had I not stumbled onto it many years ago.

Keep on rockin' my friend!

This Week in Comics
Roller coaster ride of a week for us comic geeks. Tuesday, while I was giddy as a schoolgirl with anticipation for Empowered v. 3, the news came over the wire that Dave Stevens had passed. Then Emp *did* come out and met - or exceeded - expectations. Good, bad, then good again.

First, about Dave. It's already been said here before but his Rocketeer work, while brilliant for everyone, was particularly of interest to us. I remember going into my local shop circa 1982-83 and seeing the new issue of Pacific Presents. I had a copy reserved because it was the debut of the new Steve Ditko character, but I would've bought it for the cover alone: a bound & gagged Betty Page-esque beauty being hustled into a car by a couple of gun-toting toughs. (We later learn her name is, in fact, Betty). The story inside was short but fun, and gave us an additional scene of the damsel in the backseat, i.e. the cover wasn't just a tease. All the Rocketeer stuff is out of print now but if you can find it, it's worth picking up the Trade Paperback. It contains all five chapters and has some additional pages that didn't make it into print before. Dave was a real talent and will be missed.

Now, back to the good. Empowered v.3 came out this week and delivered, for my money anyway, on every level . Entertaining stories, better characterizations, and still plenty of bondage-y goodness. Yeah, Adam Warren keeps saying he's getting out of the d-i-d business, but it doesn't happen here. Lead heroine Emp gets the treatment numerous times, including an extended (and unwilling) part in an infomercial for Advanced Restraint Research; new "heroine" Ocelotina cashes in on Emp's reputation by marketing her own bondage-proneness; Emp's best pal Ninjette valiantly fights off a band of fellow ninja only to find herself strung up; and even Sistah Spooky gets a scene or two. Oh, and it's both funny and touching. As Van said, do yourself a favor and pick it up.

Finally, Pat was asking about comic artists and writers hooking up. Two ideas: 1) check out deviantart.com and all of the artists who hang out there (you can check out Adam Warren's page for more Empowered goodness, too) or 2) go to a local comic convention. Tons of artists there and most are willing to talk and offer advice, suggestions, etc. Good luck on getting your book/web comic made, man. Your other work has been good-to-great and I'd like to see your comic someday.

Adios.

And the ep where Don Rickles kidnaps all the women, but we only see Mrs. Howell tied up and have to settle for Mary Ann and Ginger mentioning they had been.

The Cottage and H&A
Enough about missed opportunities already – has anyone seen Jen Ellison in The Cottage yet? I'm dying to know if it's a scene worth waiting for. Also, what happened with Home & Away a week or two ago – there was nothing on the site about Indiana Evans getting the treatment. Did she or didn't she?

Re: Missed opportunities
How about the film that's always going to be made but probably never will that would HAVE to have several scenes to stay faithful to the book's plot ... Irving Wallace's The Fan Club. Although from the 1970's (and which reportedly had Lynda Carter initially interview for the damsel role pre-Wonder Woman), there have been reports from as late as 2005 that the film would still be made. And still we wait ...
