> "Haneke's wryly cynical way of getting viewers to keep > watching?" My take on it (having only seen the original) is that Haneke has a pretty good, if seriously dark, sense of humor about both what we get off on, and his role in the process. There was really no way to remake this film for an American audience with an eye toward commercial or even critical success. It's going to flop badly, but I can't fault him for trying. Meanwhile: Naomi Watts tied up in her underwear. Score. |

Keeley Hawes in the UK series "Ashes to Ashes, Episode "Over the Hill". She's bound and put in a slight hogtie and cleave gagged with a white cloth. Apologies for the size of the files (two parts), but it is a nice scene. Links on video page. |

Contrast this with the classic Obsession episode when the cleave gag keeps being taken off but every time the bank raiders are seen in the van she has been regagged. The downside of that was that you never see it being reapplied and there is no mmmphing. |

Saturday March 15 05:06:55 2008 Happy anniversary |
On this day eleven years ago (March 15, 1997) this site was officially launched when this message was posted to usenet: I have started up a page dedicated to discussion on the topic of bondage scenes from mainstream media. The page doesn't have a lot to it yet (I only worked on it for a few hours so far), but it does have forums for posting about trades, VCR alerts, and general discussion. As always, it's happy anniversary to all of you, because YOU make this page what it is. |

Remember discovering this page while rambling down the alleys and lanes of the then novelty called Internet in Grad school days in India. We ran a lynx browser at that time - so only text - and each image had to be painfully downloaded. This is a great place for all of us !Thanks a lot ! |

Saturday March 15 08:42:50 2008 Hitman DVD- Olga Kuryelenko |
This one is mentioned in the Database as a fleeting, 2 second shot - but the unrates DVD which came out last week has a much longer scene - at least 1 minute. Shows a naked (and I mean full frontal) Olga tied up by her hands and being whipped. May turn off some... Apart from all this, she also drops her clothes in 1/2 her scenes ! Completely adult DVD and might shock those who decide to watch this in a group after seeing the tamer version on screen ! |

Contrast this with the classic Obsession episode when the cleave gag keeps being taken off but every time the bank raiders are seen in the van she has been regagged. The downside of that was that you never see it being reapplied and there is no mmmphing. ~~~~ Which makes the omission in "Trackdown" so noticeable. Remember, less than 10 hours earlier, the serial rapist-killer had abducted Stacey from the restaurant and the police would've deduced had fled on foot via the back exit (since the police had staked out the street exit and the front entrance), so it stands to reason that in the morning police would be combing nearby blocks with their photographs asking pedestrians whether they'd seen them. In the "Obsession" episode, I'd wondered what had triggered Stacey's initial gagging inside the van (the episode did show that her vigorous struggling in the back of the van vs. one of the robbers made the female shout out: "Get her cuffs!"). Stacey's not gagged during the car chase from Sgt. Hooker inside city limits, nor even when she's moved OUTSIDE the van when the robbers make their car-switch! But she *is* seen gagged while they're presumably reached the boonies part of the drive. Maybe she said something to tick them off, or maybe one finally got the bright idea, "Maybe we should make sure our hostage can't shout out for help?". Stacey's initial gagging scene is one I hope didn't wind up cut from the final production cut due to episode time limitations... |

Saturday March 15 15:25:57 2008 New Ringdivas Heroine Torture release |
"Sayuri Blood Chronicles 2" was just released, starring superhot Meng Lau as the title character again. 9 minutes of the 12-minute Part I clip and 6 of the 7-minute Part II clip have a sweaty Lau tied up arms/wrists overhead (AOH) and tortured in a white set of bra and panties. I didn't buy the Part III clip (each $10) because it appears to have Lau just strapped lying down to a table with her arms at her sides. |

Tonight at 9 p.m. on Lifetime "Wisegal." A woman becomes involved with the Mafia only to realize she may be putting her sons lives in danger." Not a great premise, but you never know. In fact, her gag scene on DYNASTY is the only scene she's had where she really does much in the way of mmphhh-ing OR struggling. In the "Hooker" episode she does a little bit of both (but not mush of either really) when she's hogtied in the van for that brief 3-second shot but other than that she's a fairly docile bondage captive in all her "Hooker" tie-and-gag scenes. Too bad she never got the Full Treatment on Melrose Place...Amanda was such a spitfire I imagine she'd have struggled & mouthed off furiously. |

I have composed numerous posts that have initiated intelligent responses, and have also made numerous contributions to the vouluminous Scene Database. The Scene Database is itself an unprecedented achievement, a painstaking compilation of tens of thousands of bondage scenes from mainstream media. It is an invaluable resource for people such as ourselves. I myself consult it regularly. Once again, Brian, thank you for and congratulations on your brainchild. Other pics on the movie's website have shown Rhona still with her wrists tied, but in front of her while she's seated. |

Sometimes you just change url at the top when in the alerts page. For example: alerts for today end in 075-2008. If you can't go back, just change the 075 to the day of the year to get you back to a certain date. NOTE: January 1st is generally 00, keep that in mind. I believed it worked last month, but now it doesn't. Not sure if this relates to the month/date/year pulldown on the alerts being slow. Only noticed that one after leap day. Mikael Description: Episode: "Eyes Of The Gua" (3.8) Ms. Mikael is shown tapegagged and cuffed in front at around the 45' mark. This one from 2006 ================= Canada Day: Monday May 15 2006 Time: 2am Channel: Series+ Secrets d'état, Ep: "Infiltration" Record number: 7306 Title: Spooks aka MI-5 Medium: TV Series Actress: Lisa Faulkner Description: Episode: "Risk" aka "Looking After Our Own" (1.2) Helen Flynn (Faulkner) and her male partner have their covers blown. They're captured and she has her hands tied hands behind back in a van, although you never see the ropes. No gag. Later she's untied solely so that, in a nasty scene involving hot fat, she can be tortured to force her partner to reveal information to the baddies. Neither cracks, so she's killed, unfortunately. Male interference and the torture bit is not pleasant. Jay L =========================================== With the system putting the date in the body, the date like *March* should be searchable. I want to know The only reason I see for going back to full day URLs if you forgot the title? But even then a 30 Back search on description should work? Saturday March 15 21:49:06 2008 alert page back view |
????the approx. day. Just select March 1 or as close as you can get to the previous month???? Okay, here's the means to my madness. Select "Display posts from the last" and submit with "1" day as option. Now when the alert page comes up, you can then go up to the top and select the first day of the month on the left (i.e. March 1). This will load the alerts posted for March 1. Now the March calender will be on the right and this will cause the Feb. calender will appear on the left side. Just repeat this for Feb. and it will cause Jan. to appear (you know wash, rinse, repeat). Since the gentleman knew the exact day, this beats the snout out of the problematic search on the right and the display back # of days which brings every day for a set distance. To be honest, the display back option is only good for me to search for 1 day. I use the calender for going back more than 1 day. I was using the search the forums option to search the video page for the link to rob's damsels rapidshare board. It works since the search engine seems to only search for strings in the year 2007 and nothing in 2008. All any one needs to due is to enter law & order on the right and a day range and should have results for this year. Listing everything for 200 days just kills someones bandwith allowment. Just like going to the database and searching for "a" as a description and getting a file that is well over 7 megs in size. |

May need to continue this in emails to compare search notes. I ran a search for Nash Bridges. Nothing on the 100day forward even though there is a post on March 25, 2008. Going back 100 days, my first return is Dec. 31, 2007 eventhough there are alerts for 3/6, 2/5 and 1/10. Same typical results with F.B.I. Files, Monk, CSI, Law & Order, Twin Peaks and the letter "a" even. If I use 100days on the left side, I then have to use the the "F3" key to search for keywords like Monk, Law, or CSI. Profiler only seems to work going forward (but only starts at April 16th and doesn't return April 1st as a result), but back only gets listings in 2007 and none for 2008. Union Station only works forward but not backwards (missed alert for March 12, 2008) but picks up any posts for 2007, 2006. I also tried Funny Games and tried a back search for it in the discussion page for 100 days, and only get posts in 2007. No returns for anything this year. Should have several for today but no.. The Day-url is fine. Just let the guy know that you can go back with only mouse clicks. Only time that mouse clicks fail is when you can only select the 2nd, then you just subtract the day by two and you get the previous month. |
