Van wrote: If this damages Alicia > Witt's career, I'll be *PO'd*!! To be perfectly honest, I seriously doubt that this apparent craptacular movie will damage her career. She's appeared in several unremarkable films, including Urban Legend (her other bondage scene). Not that she's a bad actress by any means....just that I wouldn't be surprised to see her in another damsel-in-distress scene in another grade-b thriller. Just my opinion is all. :) |

Wednesday April 23 00:51:46 2008 Does Anyone Know of B/G in John Sandford novels. |
I recently went to the bookstore. I would like to know if any of John Sandford's novels has bound and gagged scenes in them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

I really hope that hottie Stephanie gets the full treatment on this up and coming potential scene. I checked out the spoiler page and the picture of her is absolutely hot. Hopefully (it says shes kidnapped at knife point) she gets chloro'd gagged and everything else we dig! One fan posted that the scene would go down Friday but the spoiler site didn't have any set day from what I read. |

That film Outlaw Trail took a long time to get released but was a good adventure flick with the pretty Ariel Krebbel tied up. An exception I'm sure. The 88 Minutes film itself may suck but as far as Alicia Witt's scene goes the tie up was very good but the what the heck is that thing in her mouth gag was a joke. Leather jacket/boots, tightly tied to a chair close to the edge of a very big drop. Give that a B, the gag a F. Just me opinion. I think the demo version scene is still up on Panty DID Cap site. |

Sandford's "Mind Prey" should at least have some bound-but-not-gagged action, since the TV-movie made from it is in the database for a couple of such scenes. |

Been a while since I read it, but I believe "Rules of Prey" has one, but I can't be sure that's the novel. I know it involved a woman tied spread eagle to a bed. IIRC, she was a real estate agent. Like I said, it has been some time so I can't be sure which novel but I'm 100% positive it is one of the "Prey" novels. Sorry I couldn't be much help but if someone reads the description, maybe it will strike someone who does know. |

I've read the entire "Prey" series, and can aver that "Rules of Prey", the first novel featuring Lucas Davenport, does indeed contain numerous bound and gagged women in the plot. In fact, the opening paragraph states that the villain's female victims are bound and gagged. |

Wednesday April 23 06:35:50 2008 Waking The Dead |
Question to all readers in the UK. Did anyone watch this weeks new two part WtD story? I caught the last half hour and saw Ruth Gemmell gag herself and then cuff herself to a bed in a flashback. Wondering if this was the only scene or was there more? Is it worth checking out the whole story on the i-player? |

Unlikely--Here is a description from a spoiler page: When restaurant manager Dwight Lomax (guest star Scott Adsit “30 Rock”) is caught molesting a female employee, he claims that he was following orders from a “Detective Milgram” over the phone. As detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Chris Meloni) delve into the case, they discover “Detective Milgram” was a hoax by engineer, Merritt Rook (guest star Robin Williams). Rook later turns his trial into a media circus by using the courtroom as a soapbox. Rook’s courtroom antics set him free, and with a group of followers, detective Benson and Stabler fall prey to another one of Rook’s psychological schemes leaving the SVU department vulnerable. Also starring: Adam Beach, Dann Florek, Ice-T, Diane Neal, Tamara Tunie, Richard Belzer, and BD Wong. Elaborate psychological schemes are usually not good for bondage. |

Film funding and distribution takes many forms these days, even for films with big stars that "look like" they are American made and financed. 88 was German/American and the distribution deal ended up in a lawsuit and part of the settlement involved releasing it all the way to DVD in Europe before it was released theatrically in America. It wasn't because it sucked and needed reshoots or whatever; though according to the Times it is horrible. Captivity, another example, Russian/USA, was released in Russia first as part of the deal; and I remmeber there was a whole lot of scuttle butt about reshoots on that one. Outlaw Trail's late release was probably due to low budget issues including distribution; it was a small film. But I agree, super late release is never a good sign. |

No, that was it. Not even sure if it is worth a Database entry. In the first part, the WTD team found her cuffed to the bed and it was so quick that you could barely make out that she had a thin towel tied round her mouth. The camera immediately cut away and the gag had been removed when she was next shown. A real blinkie. The second part had a reconstruction showing her using the towel to wipe fingerprints clean from tables, etc, before tying the gag round her own mouth and cuffing herself to the bed. To explain to people who were not able to watch, she played a psychotic prison warder who killed released sex offenders and a Prison Governor. In relaity, she was never a DID |

It's been nearly 20 years since I read this, but doesn't the real estate agent get gagged with a Kotex? |

Hopefully the villian lurking in the dark gets her on the way out, handgags her and does it the right way when he escorts her out. And hopefully he is wise enough to gag and tie her so she wont make any noise!!! And hopefully it all starts tomorrows episode! |

Wednesday April 23 19:24:25 2008 Billboard |
I passed a billboard on "60" in southern Michigan today with Three women's faces (two handgagged with bare hands, and one handgagged with a gloved hand). It wasn't jovial, playful, or "fantasy" in any way, though. It had a caption under each of the (three) pictures. One said "Friend", one "Husband", and one "Criminal", and then on the side of the billboard asked "Which one of these is a violent crime?" It kind of reminds me of the "Karl Rove Terror Campaign ("Al Franken" coined phrase), as when President Bush was running for Governor of Texas in the "Mid 90's", there were a lot of commercials advertising a need to drop the crime rate, and some of them featured women getting handgagged in parking garages, etc. I don't know any more about the billboard campaign, though, as I was driving through, and just cought it as I passed it. |
