Strange, though hopefully a transient problem caused by the IP changeover. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I saw it today. Unfortunately, the scene cuts after Jason Segal says, "yea, kinda now", so there's nothing in this movie.

Jaime Pressly; Could she spit it out?
Mercenary was 10 times hotter

Yes Jaime's tight knotted cleave is a classic and in some scenes I wonder if she could have spit it out. So the question is, can anyone think of other tight gags that seemed real enough that the actress could not spit out the gag, or at least without great effort? Just wondering... : )

78 Minutes
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Al Pacino's new movie, 78 Minutes, that came out on Friday. There was some discussion last year that there was going to be at least one scene in it. Hoping to go see the movie when I have some time off.

78 Minutes
Actually it's 88 Minutes and it has been out on DVD in other countries for a year now. There is a B & G scene with Alicia Witt.

Sugar Pops Rocks!
I hope this isn't old news but I just saw a Sugar Pops commerical during ABC Kids. It showed a beautiful blonde in an astronaught's silver uniform tied back to back to a putz. A lazer is coming towards them and he refuses to stop eating his sugar pops to help them escape.

A Record?
I just saw on you tube the 3rd bondage scene that I know of for Joan Davis in I Married Joan.
There is only one in the Data Base and that's for the well known Bad Boy episode. But theres another one where Joan gets tied up in a bed by convicts while going under cover at a women's prison.
This last one I saw, I'll put it on the video page, has a group of her lady friends performing a first aid exercise on poor Joan and in the process binding and gagging her with bandages!

Is that a record for a sitcom that the lead actress to get bound and gagged three times? I know Lucy only got bound AND gagged twice on ILL.

And you have to wonder. I've read where, unlike Lucy, Joan ran that show like a man. She really cracked a whip on everbody especially her writers which included a young Neil Simon. I wonder, since she was so in charge of her show, did Joan ask for these tie up scenes? Or perhaps was it a way for Mr. Simon and friends to get back at their battle axe boss and shut her up for a while? Not sure which I'd like to believe! :)

April 23rd
By the calendar: April 23rd is Administrative Professionals Day. What assistants or secretaries best earned their extra pay ?
My short list: Mike Hammer's Shannon Whirry, John Doe's Sprague Grayden, Probe's Ashley Crow, and especially Angel's Charisma Carpenter in "Parting Gifts".

Laurene Landon as another Mike Hammer girl in "I the Jury." Gail Fisher for "Mannix," though she could and should have had more scenes.

Empowered
Pat and Raffish have said it already but I'll chime in too: buy 'em both. If you can't swing both at the same time - and as a semi-permanent student I can empathize - get v.2 then v.3., if only to keep the story, which is good and entertaining, in order. Well, that and the sexy librarian thing.

Also, I'd put the closing vol. 2 story "Fruity Flakes" up for an Eisner for writing. No shit. D.i.D./fetish material aside, it's a great, great example of sequential storytelling.

Er, sorry, off the page for a couple of days. To answer: #557, the cover has some horrible Myan demigod looming over Spidey (and we can call him that again, since the spirit of the book is all 1977 again) and Carlie. Part 3 of 3 of the most recent arc. Good story, too.

The Choke: The Legend Begins
Just watched this 2006 movie on DVD, it was released in the UK as Axe.

Wonder Rusell gets taped to a chair about 70minutes in, this is a slasher horror movie but thankfully although she gets slapped around a bit there's no extreme torture for our helpless damsel, anyway it's not in the DB so i did a quick entry.

Also for fans of damsels talking about bondage, another charector in the film recalls a time when she tried bondage sex.

"He was a fireman, he had me chained to the bed when he got called out to a fire, he couldn't find the key to the chains so he had to leave me till he got back, i had plenty of time to think - he left me there 12 hours. That's when i decided to quit cheerleading"

Let's not forget Lindsay Bloom, who was Shannon Whirry's predecessor as Velda on the defunct Mike Hammer series from the 1980s. She was bound and gagged alongside an Asian actress in an episode dealing with industrial espionage.

Birds of Prey scene.
This is kind of late, and I don't recall it being mentioned or turn up in a search, but I finally picked up my hold 'em pile and last months Birds of Prey -- #116 -- has a scene. After a nasty fight between the Huntress and a mind-altered Lady Blackhawk, the Huntress winds up handcuffed, cleave gagged and taunted for a couple of panels. Previews show their might be something for the new Manhunter this month in #117 due out next week.

Is there a video of this anywhere? I would love to see it. That sounds like a great commercial.

It seems that the Huntress is bound and gagged fairly often, not nearly as often as the Black Canary, but nearly as often as Zatanna. It also seems that she has been bound and gagged more often than the Canary in recent years. I wonder what she does to get herself into these predicaments?
It's logical that the Black Canary and Zatanna will be gagged regularly, as this neutralizes their respective powers, which emanate from their mouths. The Huntress, however, has no special powers; she's merely a very athletic heroine with great fighting prowess. No special powers emnanate from her mouth, yet it seems to be gagged quite often. I certainly am not complaining about this; I am simply wondering why some heroines seem to have a penchant for being bound and gagged.
Speaking of the Black Canary, does anyone know when she will be reappearing on the television series, "Smallville"?

Phyllis Davis got The Treatment twice as Dan Tanna's sectretary Bea Travis.

I recall an episode of "The Greatest American Hero" during the 1980s in which the title character discovers a pretty young brunette secretary bound and gagged in an office. I consulted the voluminous Scene Database, and learned that her name is most likely Teri Hanauer, based on the description of the episode. She wasn't a series regular, however, but rather a guest actress with a bit part.
