Nothing in the deleted scenes. I saw the black thing around her neck around the 57'mark, but was not a remains of a gag in a sense. Here is where the cloth comes into play earlier in the movie. Around the 37' mark, this black cloth, or thing, is tied high to a wall by a black rope. Julie is setting on the floor with her hands bound behind her and leashed to the wall. The leash keeps her from moving forward and in essence it causes the victim to choke, or gag. Sly only makes commentary about the boars being aggressive and breaking throught the poorly made gate. Julie must have refered to the gagging action of the leash around her neck, and not about a gag in our sense of the word. |

Check out the homepage link for a blog featuring many depictions of Andromeda with some interesting commentary on it. Be sure and leave comments, get the guy wondering what the hell happened. I left a comment, of course. |

Mandraketube wrote: > More examples? One example *I'd* like some help with is the classic Arthurian damsel-tied-to-a-tree. I've tried doing searches, but there are so many variations of name spellings (not to mention various versions of the Legend), that paintings I *know* exist never seem to pop. It's some chick, possibly one of Guinevere's handmaidens of BFF's, who gets abducted, and is rescued by one of the roundtable ruffians. The problem is I don't know the name(s) of the damsel or the knight, and I'm too busy (lazy) to wikki-research the whole thing. Any help? |

Wednesday May 28 15:35:14 2008 Interesting Harrison Ford Article |
The Fate of Harrison Ford’s Film Fems Looking back at the history of Harrison Ford’s leading ladies, you’ll see that if the movie is not a romantic comedy, the odds are in favor that these women are not safe. The suffering these ladies must endure range from inconveniences like breaking a nail or being harassed, to being abducted (and/or held captive, bound, gagged, tormented). |

There was some really obscure Roman goddess who was always portrayed gagged. OK, I googled it, her name was Angerona and her holiday was the Divalia, and the rites were so secret and solemn that all of her statues had to be portrayed gagged so their secrets would not be revealed. Check out the homepage link under "Divalia" to get pretty much the same info from a more authoritative source. |

Mandraketube wrote: > Great! Angerona would be our goddess HAIL TO ANGERONA Actually she was a goddess of winter and of death both of which are silent, whose festival was on Dec. 21st. I think I'll pass and go with someone breathing, necrophilia just hasn't much of a future. |

And frankly, as a fellow who is ON RECORD as having manifested as a SWAN for sexual purposes, you aren't in a position to criticize anyone. |

Elizabel, Guinevere's cousin, who is imprisoned by Claudas for espionage, and Emmeline, daughter of Duke Conon of Cornwall, who was kidnapped by Oswald the Saxon. |
