Blog Update
I updated my site today with an article on the BBC Robin Hood TV series with caps of the scene where Maid Marian is put in manacles by the Sheriff of Winchester (and supposedly gagged and put in leg irons, too, though we never see any of that). I thought there was some especially good & revealing villainous dialogue here, and I comment on it, but there are also caps of Marian, who to my mind is a major hottie (see pic below).

BTW, maybe you guys can help me here. I have a strong memory of having seen these caps before ... I think MovieFan did them. Problem is, the IMDB dates the series as having begun in 2006, and MovieFan stopped making caps years ago. (For you youngster, MovieFan was making caps that looked like they were done on HDTV way back when most everybody's caps looked like mine. Especially mine.)

Anybody else find these caps ringing bells for them?

Ah, got it...thanks Pat for the info. So the database entry is a bit reversed...the one listed as the second scene is actually the first (where she starts out as unconscious).
Appreciate the clarification.

I'm with you on that one Pat 100%.
Was commenting on the fall tv season back in December & posted a couple photos and a link to the Lucy Griffiths website gallery. Good set of caps from all the RH episodes there.
Stunning picture of her in the manacles......
[BTW..added a link to your blog also.]

Dunia Baru - The Movie (2008)
While researching the names of the two b&g damsels from this funny Malaysian movie (see Video Page), I came about those production-stills:

Happens to me fairly regularly. Then again, I'm not a gag purist, and scenes without gags are much more likely than scenes with gags to be recorded in the database. Also, Skinamax scenes are less likely to be there. Reminds me, I've got one to enter for Super Ninja Bikini Babes.

There are clips of the scenes on Youtube... I forget who posted them, but they're up there. Search the Video page.

Thanks for the info and the link. Check your blog for comments. I really think that guys generally like adventure shows and will always watch them in preference to a lot of the other stuff that shows up on TV nowadays, and I wish Robin Hood would inspire US netowrks to sponsor some good adventure shows. Or even some bad ones.

Oh, yeah, absolutely. And this is the last I'll say about it, since I don't want to get too off-topic, but just to be clear: I'm a physical-media kinda guy myself. Like you and so many others, I started off by making second-gen VHS compilations from full broadcasts recorded earlier. Now that we're in the digital age, we can so the same thing with DVD but with no significant loss in quality.

My only point was that, for those *first*-generation recordings that you're just going to throw out anyway, you might be better off with an inexpensive DVR. You won't lose any quality that way if you record at the highest-quality setting, you could easily save money in the long run since you won't have to buy as many DVD-R's, and (perhaps most significantly) you can make live recordings that are much longer than what can fit on a DVD.

Just something to consider. Obviously, whatever works best for you is what you should do. :)

That would be rather difficult seeing as how the "contemporary" JJ has a DOB of 1978 and this film was made in 1966.

As for the coincidence, the JJ from this flick didn't exactly go on to TV/film fame...

Season 6 of Smallville
Hi all! I'm planning on making new Tvb files for season 6 of Smallville. But the Scene Database only has a couple entries for season 6. Can anyone help me cut down on my production time by pointing me to which episodes have relevent material?

Best "Mmphers"
Which actresses would you say have been the best "mmphers" during a bound and gagged scene?

Speaking of Backwoods, there was a quick clip during the title screen that showed a gal with her hands shackled of her head and wearing a white dress. Quick and jumpy shot.

Yvonne Craig in The Man from UNCLE scene
Linda Thorson, The Avengers, "Split"

Those two immediately come to mind, especially the Yvonne Craig scene.

Nice work, clips look great! If I'd known so many of us would be right on top of this scene/episode, I wouldn't have bothered... :) But that's better than the alternative - no one catching it! And the high-res is better than what I got, so I'll be archiving your clips at least for vidcaps. (Is Telemundo available in HD?)

I usually don't bother including the setup up of a scene. But in this case, watching a sexy, unhinged blond tear up bedsheets seemed kinda hot in its own way.

I think that the scene times should have as much
accuracy as possible.

I do it because I feel that after someone has
watched the entire movie/episode, why should
someone else have to repeat the same work and
burn up all that time.

A lot of people have things to do and appreciate
it when someone else saves them some time and
work.

Yes, at least in some markets. My clips are SD, though, since I haven't taken the HD plunge yet with respect to upgrading my capture hardware. (Speaking of which, I'd be very interested in discussing this issue with anyone who has made the switch, either on Trades or over email.)

Some friendly advice here:

You meant: "*I* appreciate it when someone *enters* the scene times *with* as much accuracy as possible."
