The Internet kinda ruined the surprise DID scene in movies and tv shows quite a while ago. You'd have to not see any previews[Youtube etc..], read any reviews, or visit any chat/message boards where they may be discussing the film to truly be surprised. |
Saturday July 19 04:33:20 2008 Rotating spit |
Damsels being tied up and ready to be burned in a rotating spit is one of my favourite DID scenes that i love to watch But the only scene i saw is the Addams family values one. Can anyone recommend to me other familiar scenes ? |

Thanks I have seen steel trap. One damsel gets a cleave gag, another gets a ball gag and another just gets her hands tied behind her back. All short scenes. |

Yes, this was the "famous" Alexis Laree scene (from back when she was in TNA & before it was aired on TV) that pops up here occassionally on Discussion. I was lucky enough to get the entire scene from a fellow trader. There are 2 scenes...the first one the evil James Mitchell has Alexis & a guy wrestler tied back to back in chairs & both cleave gagged. NO real good shots of her & no close ups. The next segment has both captives brought to the ring & tossed in while Mitchell calls out Raven (on of Alexis's cohorts). A fight ensues in the ring while Alexis & the guy are lying in the ring tied & gagged. No close ups at all. The guy manages to get free & joins the fray while Alex gets a kick to the stomach by one of the baddies as she lies there helplessly. Finally referres come out & free her. All are shown in medium shots, naturally the main focus of the action was on all the in-ring fighting & basically Alexis is just seen lying along the back of the ring. You can see she is cleave gagged, arms tied behind, and ankles crossed & tied. Personally I think the scene is so sought after mainly for its rareness & not it's quality. |

You asked: "Did anyone save the video samrainbowrocker37" Presumably that wasn't idle curiosity, and that you wanted the video. That means it either belonged on Trade or on Video. |

Saturday July 19 14:18:17 2008 Spolier protocol |
I think I've mentioned spoilers before on this site (and if not here, certainly others). The Moderator, to whom I'll defer once this is posted, made his opinion pretty clear: don't want spoilers, don't read it. Fair enough. But: how about the posting community exercising a little bit of, er, restraint, on key plot points and the like. Or just using the generally accepted "SPOILER" warning when warranted. Case in point, this weekend's Big Event The Dark Knight. Now, I know all of us who frequent this board want to know whether Maggie G. gets The Treatment. Telling us whether or not she does isn't really a spoiler. It has nothing to do with a major plot point. The fact that +++SPOILER+++ she gets captured, yes. Major plot point. The fact she doesn't get full B & G action? Not so much. Besides, that's why we're here, to find that detail out. NOW, the other hostage situation, involving the clowns and hospital employees? Giving that away is a spoiler and should be marked as such. Noting some hostages are duct taped is fine, but noting how and why before seeing it kinda ruins the scene. Use common sense and courtesy. Just my opinion. As always, thanks for the site Brian. Your work, and that of the posting community, is always appreciated. |

Thanx for putting this topic in proper context Rob . A bit of order goes a long way in benefiting the whole . The intent behind the 'scene' alert (used very loosely) was appreciated . . Just not the extracurriculars that went along with it . The movie by the way was phenomenal . |

Uh... not to get snarky, but we should all be careful with amusing comments like this. There's always a certain number of people who take them *literally*. Six months from now, someone will refer to Maggie's "scene free" contract clause, someone else will post an "I knew the FemiNazi's were ruining our fun!" reply, and off we'll go down Bullsh*t Lane... AGAIN! Maggie was a guest on "The Daily Show" this week, and she was all excited about how much fun she had doing all the big-budget comic book action scenes. If anything, it's probably *MORE* likely we'll see her in more blockbuster movies from now on (with or *without* DiD-scenes). |

MagickRat wrote: > I'll bet that after she shot "The Secretary", > she's been making sure any new roles are pretty much > "scene free". All the evidence indicates otherwise. In addition to the Dark Knight scene, however lame, there's that underwear company she took a gig modelling for that had a very nice pic of her tied to something or otherby the wrists while in her undies. If she had a problem with scenes, I really doubt that she would have taken that gig. |

Saturday July 19 23:40:31 2008 Naomi Watts in King Kong Extended Edition |
I just noticed this today and while its not my thing I figured that some of you might appreciate this: on the second disk of the director's cut dvd, Watts is chloroformed for the short film "The Present." Fairly lengthy as far as such things go. |
