I've always been partial to Mary Steenburgen's defiant glances as Jack Nicholson spreadeagles her on the bed in "Goin' South." |

A big Thank you to the people who answered my query over Kristen Kreuk.I've liked all the girls in Smallville, who get grabbed by the bad guys.I was just very disappointed Kristen wasn't bound and gagged in the show. |

The "feisty damsel" is a classic, and *my* favorite example is... Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) in "Raiders of the Lost Ark". "Are you crazy?? Indyyy!!" |

Tuesday July 15 13:23:32 2008 Neve Campbell |
There is probably no reason for any Neve fan to get their hopes up but my Television magazine for next week here in the UK covers a new 2 part conspiracy drama/thriller called Burn Up on our BBC2. I airs on Wednesday 23rd and Friday 25th and seems to be some kind of coproduction as it stars Rupert Penry Jones (Spooks) and Marc Warren (Hustle) who are known to us as well as Neve Campbell and Bradley Whitford of West Wing fame from across the pond. It is all about the Global warming threat and Neve plays Holly Dernay who fronts the Renewable Enregy Division of an Oil Company and supports climate change activists. She is the love interest of her boss Tom, played by Penry-Jones. Friday's episode states "As Tom wavers, torn between triggering economic panic and his feelings for Holly, she takes matters in to her own hands, putting herself in great danger" Has this already aired in US/Canada? |

I know that very few of you can get this show, 67 in N.Y. 10 PM but previews from last night had the main star getting another cloth over mouth knock out by her ex-husband, the main villin. There have been many of these in this show, and this star had a previous B+G on bed spreadeagle. I have no idea if this will lead to anything. |

It's already aired in the UK, i think. I'm 99% sure this was shown on BBC3 a few months ago, didn't see it myself but i imagine someone would have shouted it there was a scene |

Tuesday July 15 19:38:09 2008 Breathe easy, Conspiracy Theorists... |
NEW YORK - The video-sharing site YouTube will be allowed to mask the identities of individual users when it provides viewership records to Viacom Inc. and other copyright holders behind a $1 billion copyright-infringement lawsuit. "We remain committed to protecting your privacy and we'll continue to fight for your right to share and broadcast your work on YouTube," the company said in a blog posting. The new values will still have to let the plaintiffs determine which individual watched which clip and when, but they will mask cases where an existing identifier contains personally identifiable information — such as first initial and full last name in a user ID. Also a fairly long standing spreadeagle chained to metal bedframe, no gag. Capture scene very short. |
