Once again, thanks Dextor. Terrific scene. Lots of OTS carrying. For those catching West Coast showing, scenes pop up around 3min, 15min, and 52min approx.

There was also one smokin' hot chica wearing boots and the tightest pants I've ever seen. I had to do a double-take because for a second I thought she was bottom-less. She gets a little manhandled, but that's about all. I thought for sure when the guy was on top of her, he'd put his over her mouth or something. How she wriggled free wearing those pants without ripping them is almost a big a mystery as how she squeezed into them in the first place.

Yeah, that's a rather intense (almost too much so) use of the mmph. There are some other handgag scenes with excellent use of mmph. One that immediately comes to mind is Linda Darnell's lengthy handgag scene from No Way Out (not the 1980s Kevin Costner flick, but the 1950s Sidney Poitier thriller), which is one of the best handgag scenes of all time. The mmph in No Way Out is good, though a bit quiet compared to the incredible mmphing of Tamlyn Tomita in Karate Kid II. In fact, this is the quintessential mmph scene as far as I'm concerned. A third scene with great use of mmph is the 1990 Spanish film Las Edades de Lulú, which features a young Javier Bardem with a firm handgag on a very cute Francesca Neri. The movie's subject matter lends itself to good bondage scenes, and there should be enough mmphing with the aforementioned handgag as well as an OTM gag and tape gag with packing (that both occur on screen) to please almost everybody.

MORE BONDAGE FUNNYISMS
Hey Bondage Bastards! A few more funnyisms for you. If the baddies had Nicole Eggert tied up they could taunt her by saying "Your more like Nicole Egg-Head now, arn't you?:--

If Tea Leoni was tied up she would be "Tied leoni".

If carol alt was tied up the baddie could say ' looks like you have no ALT-ernatives Ms. Alt'

Re: Jenna Fischer kidnapped (sort of)
There's another video there. Nothing really interesting, Rainn throws some rope at Jenna and tells her to tie herself up, but she just carries the rope into the car. Still funny though.

I have high hopes for this to lead to something, but I'm not expecting much.

Best dramatic or comedic use of "mmph?"
Well, I don't know whether it was meant as dramatic or comedic-it was hard to tell sometimes with that show-but I'm surprised no one here has mentioned Mädchen Amick's famous "Twin Peaks" scene. You know-the one where Piper Laurie finds her and responds to her mmphs with the priceless line, "I can't understand a word you're saying. You have a thing in your mouth."

See what I mean about not being able to tell?

I think if you watch a scene enough times you inevitably start to spot these minor continuity errors.
I remember watching theRobin Dearden scene from Knight rider so many times on video way back. When her captors first put the crash helmet on her head the ends of the tape gag go underneath the sides, but in later scenes you can see one corner sticking up where she was obviously ungagged and regagged between takes.
I think her camera which is laying beside her early on, dissapears at one point as well

BTW, what is Ms Persins gagged with in that Weeds pic? Is that a bra? It's certainly novel but it's not the least bit flattering

Jewel Staite getting b&g
I found this story/interview with Jewel Staite quite interesting from an interview at Comic Con as I think most everyone else here will agree. It comes in 2 parts as she talks about some upcoming bondage for her character on Stargate, Dr. Keller.

Browsing through Raffish,I have to admit that this is one of the few scenes that I didn't like. The three actresses being tied up is okay. However,I thought the whole scene was very nasty.Had a look at the imdb, and wasn't sure if it was a true story.Just the tied up part was good enough for me!

two obscure
OK....here're two that are for completness only...but do exist. There were scenes for both Maureen McCormick (marcia, marcia, marcia) and Milo Kunos (70's show) in which they were bound shoulder to foot and even had to hop around a bit.
In That 70's Show there a show where Fes is trying to get everyone to come to his singing recital. That particular show is notable for all of the cut-away dance scenes with glitter and fancy costumes...anyway...in one of the cut-aways there's a montage of the group papering the house of the music teacher...if you watch real close theres a scene where Milo Kunos is wrapped up completely in toilet paper and jumping around. Doesn't last long before she breaks it all away.
Then..
last night I was watching some horrid reality thing call Gone Country 2...I;m not sure what the theme was...but it mostly consisted of some country singer named John Rich assigning task to a group of celebrities that included the likes of Dee Snyder, Bobby Brown, Maureen Mccormick, etc, etc. AT one point there a scene where one of the celebrities has used a lasso to rope Maureen Mccormick from shoulder to ankles and has her hopping around the floor (no kidding)....however....Maureen, like a good many of us, has aged.....a lot. So its not a very...inresting scene...but it does exist,

I don't watch normally Stargate but from what I understand she is talking about an episode where she was bound only and not gagged. I think she is one of those who uses the term "bound and gagged" as a catchall for any tie-ups.

Bitterly disappointing.

Re: Jewel Staite getting b&g
Q: So I understand that Dr. Keller gets tied up in the woods in like every other episode of Stargate. What's up with that?

A: Yeah, I don't know what that's about. In season four, I was kidnapped and bound and gagged. This year, it's happened to me twice so far. And I just read yet another script where I am again bound and gagged. I don't know what I did.

Q: Is there a site somewhere where they're charging five dollars a minute? Is it a fetish thing?

A: Maybe that's what it is. I'm starting to wonder. It's a fetish thing. And it's the same writer every time that writes the episode where I'm being kidnapped. Maybe he likes seeing me dragged through the woods. I don't know what's going on. And you know what? I don't question it. I guess. At least he's writing for me.

Checked the DB for Jewel Staite and I'm not seeing anything aside from her entry for Firefly. Anyone got any info on this one?

And I'm hope she actually isn't lying about the upcoming season - I've never been a fan, but I've been dying for her to have a real scene since Firefly.

Odd Bondage Scene
Just watched Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horrors - Brief and disgusting scene in the second story - Basically, a spoiled redneck kid and his Paris Hilton wannabe wife take over an appartment complex inhabited by old black war vets. After incidents of racism and murdering their nurce, the black war vets want revenge. After roughing the guy, they tape him up and take him upstairs where we find his paris hilton wannabe tied to the bed. After some conversation, they put a gas mask on her connected to a vacuum full of cavier dog food. They reverse the vacuum so the food goes into her. Some mmphing and great facial expressions until her belly explodes.

Along these (tie)lines, it was a bit heartening for me to find a graphic novel recently called "Yoko Tsuno - The Prey and the Ghost." I'm listing that title with an old guy's memory, so it may be spelled wrong or in the wrong order one way or another... but anyway. It's a very Nancy Drew-ish mystery about a girl (maybe 13 - 15?) solving a mystery at a Scottish or English castle. I'm not sure on the details because I didn't but it yet. It's $11.95 and the comic shop owner is one of those who loudly discourages customers from taking more than a ten second look at the interior of any of the books. But the cute asiatic heroine is B&G on the cover and inside near the climax. Not in any sort of erotic way, just the old-fashioned "This should put a stop to your snooping, my dear" sort of manner. Anyway, a small sign perhaps that the "Teen sleuth who occasionally gets tied up for her trouble" genre is not completely extinct. It is listed as book #3 in the series; no idea if the earlier ones had scenes in them.
By the way Fettershackle, just wanted to say that I really enjoy your "This, that, and nothing in particular" posts. I appreciate everyone's contributions here, but yours just seem to have that little extra je ne sais quoi (or something like that), as those Canadians say.

Well, exactly. The gag is clearly being used for humorous effect, and should be judged on how funny it is. I found it mildly funny, but not uproarious, so I guess it was kinda effective but not great. I thought Julie Brown did a better job with the greatly oversized ballgag in Plump Fiction.

Yeah, I agree with the poster who said it was too intense. Rape scenes that are too realistic aren't any fun, because real rape isn't any fun if you're normal. The fantasy rapes like the ones in romance novels are much more entertaining. That theyu are nothing like real rapes is beside the point.

That said, some great mmphing from Ms. Belluci.

"Fantasy rape" is an oxymoron. It's impossible to fantasize about something being done to you against your will. How can you want something that you don't want?

I just consulted the voluminous Scene Database and could not locate any Entries for Jewel Staite bound and gagged in any episodes of any "Stargate" series. Have these episodes aired yet? I would be astonished if one of the regular contributors to this message board neglected to compose Daabase Entries for the episodes mentioned in the interview.
It seems as though she is at least somewhat intrigued by bondage, since she contemplates aloud why so many episode scripts call for her being bound and gagged. Her speculation that it may be related to a fetish is stated in a facetious manner, so she may be somewhat amused by being bound and gagged. Her sense of humor indicates that she is a good sport about it.

She was gorgeous. Her acting career seems to have declined preciptiously. She was cast as one of the quartet of heroines in "Angels '88", a television show whose pilot never aired.
While she was bound and gagged in the movie "Once Bitten", she was sitting in a chair with her legs crossed! This is incngruous, since it indicates a relaxed state of mind; a woman who is bound and gagged in a state of captivity should be anything but relaxed.
The indignant sounds she makes through her gag enhanced my enjoyment of the scene. It is hilarious how she is attempting while gagged to communicate to her dorky boyfriend to remove her gag before he unties her.
