Wednesday September 03 02:08:15 2008 Scene ID help Wild Wild West |
I remember an old in color Wild Wild West episode where James West handgags a hot young long haired blonde wearing a nice blue saloon style dress and later she is tied hands in front and bandanna gagged. She is also wearing a little hat from what I remember. Ring a bell anyone? Help a Brother out please. I haven't seen it in so long and didn't see anything like it listed in the scene data base. |

I threw together a quick (and rough) clip of the scene. Get it while it's hot. It's a DivX AVI, 7.68 MB, zipped. Enjoy! |

Wednesday September 03 02:28:54 2008 Prison Break Callies or O'Keefe? |
Found this scene in a promo. Looks to me this could be Sarah Wayne Callies tape-gagged. Is this the scene shown in the promo Monday night? |

Her character's last name is the same as the guy who plays Shane her acting credits during the opening scene. Michelle Hicks was famous for her role as one of the hottie brunettes in the defunct NBC show "Heist". |

There was also a handgag scene later on in the episode. I'm not familiar with the cast, but I think it was Catherine Dent. She was checking out the gun store after the raid and a guy who was hiding came up behind her and attacked her. Nice little scene as he had his hand clamped tightly over her mouth so she could call for help to her fellow officers who were just outside. |

That was the promo at the end of Monday. It is Jodi. She was getting her self loose. She is wearing a pant/suit outfit that matches the promo. Sarah was wearing a light grey tank in her torture flashbacks. |

The title is a pun on "Poisson d'Avril", the French name for April Fool's Day, on which a typical prank is to sneak up on people and pin a paper fish on their back. It was discussed on Rob's forum a while ago, but I don't remember if the bondage details match. |

Wednesday September 03 13:00:19 2008 Fuller Brush Girl |
Does Lucy have a scene in this film? The data base lists a sort of scene for one of the other female leads, but nothing for Lucy. I've read sevearl different reviews of the film that mention 'kids playing cowboys and indians when Lucy comes to the door' and 'Lucy gets entangled in clothesline'. But none that said she actually gets tied up. Anybody |

Wednesday September 03 19:35:04 2008 Question Regarding The Shield |
This question is a bit off-topic and I beg the Moderator's indulgence for just a minute. I love "The Shield", but thanks to a relatively recent move this was my first chance to view it on FXHD (Thank you DirecTV). Frankly I was stunned to see that it WAS NOT in HD. Anyone know why this is? I looked and could not find anything on this. Is the FX Channel just cheap or something? Kind of strange to go to all the trouble of making your network available in HD and then broadcasting your primary original series in standard def. |

I made a mistake in capitalising "avril" in the festival name. Months in French begin with lower-case letters, whereas the film title contains the girl's name Avril. That's a good indication that it's a pun. |

Wednesday September 03 21:44:33 2008 Red Ridge? |
Description sounds promising. "Red Ridge chronicles the scandalous true events currently taking place in small towns along the Texas/Mexico border. Innocent young women are being kidnapped and forced into sexual slavery and prostitution." Anyone know anything about this movie? |

Wednesday September 03 21:54:46 2008 time conversion |
Here is a mathematical method for converting the times at which a bondage scene occurs during a movie uninterrupted by commercials to those for the same movie shown with commercials. Divide the duration of the airing with commercial by the duration of the airing without commercials; the times must be in minutes. The result of this division is the coefficient by which to multiply the bondage scene times in the commercial-free airing in order to obtain the bondage scene times in the airing with commercials. Here is an example: Let's say a movie is about 90 minutes long without commercials, and its television broadcast is two hours, or 120 minutes long. Let's also say that an actress is bound and gagged at the one hour mark in the airing without commercials. We divide 120 minutes by 90 minutes to obtain a conversion factor of 4/3; we multiply 4/3 by 60 minutes to obtain the time the bondage scene occurs in the television broadcast. The result is 80 minutes, or 1 hour and twenty minutes into the television broadcast. |

I think this only works if the commercials are equally spaced and are of equal duration - not sure if this is true in general for broadcast television? |

The Shield's trademark is that it is filmed with low quality cameras to give it a gritty appearance. I've heard some scenes are actually filmed with handhelds to add shakiness. That's probably why it still looks rough even on a HD channel, because Nip/Tuck and others look really good. You're right though, it is an amazing show. Mr. Mod, I know this is off topic but...c'mon it's The Shield. You know you like it. |
