Watch me
Just rented this bad indy horror flick, which seems to be a rip off of "The Ring." Instead of watching a videotape, the victims open and watch an email attachment.

There is a scene aroung the 50 minute mark (the movie is only 1:15) where the lead girl is tied hands in front to a chair. She is gagged with black tape and has her eyes taped open with what appear to be bandaids and is forced to watch the evil video.

Though I didn't find the bondage to be that great, it is a great setup and the actress makes some good facial expressions.

There is a trailer available on youtube that shows a part of the scene.

The movie can be rented from Netflix.

Heartbeat
Sergeant Miller's daughter is held hostage in this Sunday's episode of British show Heartbeat, to blackmail him into assisting a gang of ne'er-do-wells.

There is a trailer, but the photo is so far the only sign that she may be bound.

Thursday's (16th October) is the best of all the girls together, although still no gags.

In the pictures section, I notice some do in fact show the putz without a cloth around his neck either, so I am now thinking he is gagged because we are seeing him as he has only just been kidnapped, whereas the girls were gagged only during their kidnap (sadly all offscreen!) and are stored ungagged, unlikely as that would be in reality.

On the other hand, he may get gagged later as he is mouthing off too much.

The pictures do also show Jacqui being grabbed near the van (pics 4 and 5), so hopefully we may see her in full treatment mode inside the van and on arrival at the church. Teaser this one, eh lads!

Coronation Street
Pouting Rosie Webster, played by 19-year-old Helen Flanagan (see pic at link) is involved in a kidnap storyline currently unfolding in UK soap Coronation Street.

Rosie has been missing for over a week now, although we have yet to see her oncreen during that time. She has apparently been abducted by her former teacher, with whom she once had an affair, and who now blames her for all his woes.

This should all come to fruition in the coming week or two, although there are no details of where/how she is being held.

I hate to date myself but back when I was in
college there were BBSs, Bulletin Board Systems.
The internet did not exist back then.
I believe the BBS had the 1st computer network
references to bondage and other things.
There was "email" back then but only between
the users on a mainframe system.

Magazines were the big source of news about
bondage back then.

The internet really did change things quite
a bit.

Yeah, reading those posts from long ago was the first indication there were people who took this stuff seriously.

And, just like now, there was always another site that had all those posts -- plus MORE -- just in case anything ever happened to the original site.

Back before there were BBS, there were DOD text only networks like CNTT and some semi-DOD-associated inter-university research based networks.

The univeristy networks eventually expanded into BBS's that could handle pics.

And eventually Al Gore invented the Internet.

Before all of those there was good old RQH and a little magazine called 'Bondage Life'. Its "by The People' letters/stories/photos section was the first real means of communications for us.

Before 'Bondage Life' bondage in general, forget about mainstream DID hunting, was so far underground that it wasn't even displayed in 'Adult Bookstores'. The ones that carried any such material kept it out of sight behind the counter. If they liked your look, or the funny piece of green paper you slid over to them, they might let you look over their stock. Any discussions about bondage were sidenotes in the sadism section of scholarly, or very sensationilized, articles/books about pyschosexual disorders.

The only place that I ever heard of that sold mainstream DID photos was a little place in New York called 'Movie Star News' run by some guy named Irving Klaw. The story goes that either he or his sister picked up on the fact that DID photos outsold all the rest of the publicity photos and the rest is history.

There may have been other stores doing the same type of business, but I'm not sure.

About the only real nationwide, buy anywhere, source for movie DID scenes back in the 40s-50s were the movie magazines like 'Screen Stories'. These magzines would run a detailed plot/storyline synopsis with a dozen, or more, photos of three, or four, movies each month. I almost remember one magazine that gave movies an almost storyboard treatment.

I remember several instances where DID photos were included.

The situation was even worse as far as 50s-60s TV was concerned. There was no shortage of DID scenes,
however TV listings were just that, very brief text descriptions in the TV section of the Sunday/Saturday newspaper, or TV Guide. Back then TV Guide was just that, a listing of what was on with a very very very few postage stamp size publicity photos from a very very very few shows. You usually just stumbled across scenes and hoped that the particular episode would repeat in the summer. After awhile you sort of got a feel which shows might have a scene and learned to key in on words like robbery/burglar/kidnapping.

Of course the fact that back then most homes had one TV and what was watched in the evening was very much controled by the male parental unit made it even harder to actually catch scenes.

And now we have the Internet with sites like Brian's/Raffish/MajorJohn's/etc and Yahoo groups devoted to Mainstream DIDs.

Not unlike Dario Argento's rather brilliant Opera (1987) by the sounds of it. Christina Marsillach had at least two scenes in which she was tied and gagged with her eyes pinned open.

Once again, Raffy. You come thru with another long lost Holy Grail of mine! I've been looking for the "Soldiers Fortune" scene for a long time, ever since I lost that particular scene on tape during the "Great Rootbeer Incident" of 1998. (Don't ask)

This is why I have you posted as "The Best DiD Clip site on the Net, Hands Down! in my "Links" page...

I am sure I speak for many of the people here when I thank you for being a team player and sitting though that film and to find a scene for the rest of us. A big thank you!

Question For Brian R &/or New Yorkers -Tied Up Commecial?
Sorry can't be more specific due to the CentreIce feeds going out right after the game...

So say if you're in St Louis, or Long Island New York, USA

There's this commercial for something and it looks like a bound behind woman being led through the woods. Didn't see a gag, or what it about?

It's definitely a commercial.
I don't believe the channel is FOX in NY. I think it's MSG.
Anyway,
you commercial boys may be interested, let me know for the DB entry
Thanks

Nice find! Can't get enough of Rachael. That's two full treatments for her thus far, and she's damned cute to boot.
