Saw a trailer for this upcoming (Feb) movie about superpowered folks-- brief shot of Camilla Belle in the back of a car, with a thick white cleave.

I have it, the scene in the movie is nothing like whats on that cover, and its so dark that you can barely see anything.

LOL! You call THAT "bitching"? I'm a little stunned/confused that you deleted the same damn thing I've posted here FOR YEARS, including very recently, btw, and so I ask what's going on and THAT'S "bitching"?

Brother, you and I have a far far different view of what constitutes "bitching".

>>>>>Well, tough.
>>>>When you did that, you got an answer.<<<<

And you got responded to accordingly, but as far as I'm concerned it's over, other than I'm still not sure what your final ruling is on this. I mean, is it OK to post an update notice if the top post is DiD related? I'm cool with that, but keep in mind that I sometimes post to another topic pretty quick, (Or not) so while I'll make absolutely sure the update pertains to the top post at that time, I can't guarantee that if someone jumps over a day later it won't further down on my blog.

Tell you what, on every update notice I'll add a little note that all off-topic comments on me or my stuff need to be posted elsewhere, preferably on my site. That work for you?

I didn't like the bondage part of this scene. They never showed her hands tied behind her back and her feet weren't tied.

**West Coast Alert** Tierra de Passiones
The scene Dextor alerted us to last week occurred today. The DiD gets into a catfight with another chica and is KO'd around the 15 min mark. A few minutes later, the villainess binds her hands and feet and tapes her mouth.

Just before the 30 min mark, she's been moved to the barn and is now tied AOH and gagged. The tape is quickly removed while the villainess rants. She beats her unconscious and leaves her tied up but doesn't replace the gag.

There are a few quick shots of her still bound over the next 20 min.

Around the 49 min mark, she's shown unconscious in the cab of a truck, bound and gagged again. The villainess has paid some thugs to transport her to her boat where she plans to take her out to sea. They carry her onto the boat and the villains speeds away. There's a nice little OTS as they lift her onto the boat.

The DiD is wearing jeans, a tight top, and Ugg boots.

The DiD is wearing jeans and a tight top.

A black cleave but she is a cutie. This makes up for her lack of DinD action in 'When A Stranger Calls'

Has anyone seen the old British series Armchair Thriller?
I believe there is an episode called "The Victim" that has a scene in it. Can anyone confirm?

The original scene is actually very good. The problem is that what gets passed around and is actually out on DVD looks like about a sixth + generation VCR dub with each generation getting progressively darker ubtil contrast reaches infinity. If anyone can find an older first generation video recording from a sharp TV showing then you will see a big increase in clarity.

Oh yeah - damsel in distress stuff - sort of forgot that this site was supposed to be about that. Anyway, one to check out would be over at Raffish's Bondage Parade site, under "Contributer Contributions," a scene from something called "Medicopter 117", the episode named "Blutige Spende" looks like this sort of thing. Caps and clip, it's a start anyway.

General Hospital Friday
You know who's press conference interrupted the earlier part of General Hospital. When the show resumed already in progress, "Sam" (Kelly Monaco) was in the same situation that she was in at the end of yesterday's episode: right hand cuffed to the bed frame, right leg cuffed to the leg of the bed. She was still in this situation at the end of the episode. There was no preview for Monday's episode.

Update Posts

Sounds great to me. I'm easy, but I have a question. While this method posts a link that takes the person directly to that post only, there is a "home" button that will go back to the main page, and thus all the non-topic posts become available.

Soooo... what happens if someone goes to the DiD post, but then clicks back to my home page, sees a post that gives them a hissy-fit, and then comes back here starting crap about what a bad guy ol' Vince is?

I don't think that'll happen, but then I never thought the other thing would happen either. And, since that sort of thing rightfully gets a certain person seriously cross-haired, and since that same person now seems to use a peculiar sideways logic when assigning blame, I'm worried I'll get yelled at again, and I just don't think my delicate sensibilities could handle that.

...MadFish: Many thanks to you and Dextor. I was able to record the scenes this a.m., and I must say that this may be my favorite televison DiD action of 2008. My edited version, including the catfights, runs about 17 minutes!! A wonderful damsel in a variety of perilous situations, including an outstanding AOH scenario. Sweaty, gritty, and well lit -- maybe the equal of Mary McCormack's memorable AOH scene in the episode "Stan by Me" from the series "In Plain Sight." Again, many thanks for the alerts.

Further to the above German viewers might be interested to know that this is a cross-over story with the series SOKO Liepze (I think that's what it is called anyway).

Is this a first for international co-operation DiD wise?

Thanks for posting some hard-to-find and some "classic" Brian's Page scenes!

I hadn't seen the famed "Bimini Code" (1984) clip before. Its "Villains lock the shackled damsel in a room with bolt-cutters" plot device reminded me of "The A-Team" episodes of the same era.

It's SOKO (Sonderkommando, i.e. Special Squad) Leipzig.
According to the Radio Times it is a first collaboration between cop shows in different countries in Europe. Both shows are made by Fremantle Media.

Charlotte Trautzschke, played by the seriously blonde Anna Maria Mühe, is kidnapped in London and reportedly blindfolded and tape gagged. Ms Mühe's surname literally means "Trouble"!

That would probably be acceptable, although I would again
suggest that you separate your content.

If you have a way to link to one blog post individually,
then that would be a better idea.

Here's what I think, for what it's worth...

Brian saw the same thing I did when I went there, which was basically your standard political slander, frequently witnessed today in american culture, though never explainable or defensible. Right there on top of the page. It did not surprise me at all that your post had been deleted if that was what greeted the user who followed your link. This slander-over-content style debate for at least the last decade has wreaked serious havoc and frankly is offensive, in fact it is engineered to be just that. If you aren't recognizing it as such, perhaps you've been sitting in that stew long enough to lose some objectivity. People are sick of it. Maybe you noticed the outcome of the election and what that has been attributed to, almost universally. It's related.

I'm willing to bet this very phenomena contributes heavily to the reason politics are forbidden here in any form. (Tapemaster, take note of this ongoing conversation for your questions about the recent presidential candidates.)

Going with that, you can always ask in public I suppose instead of writing Brian, but you should be able to reasonably expect that you can give a direct link to a post that does not contain political content. I think MT's suggestion is a perfect solution.

Also, regarding delicate sensibilities. I think over time, most regulars cross Brian once or twice and we have come to expect the reaction. It's part of his charm. At least, everyone gets the same treatment. So you shouldn't take it too personally. You've been here long enough, you know the guy.
don't really feel like leaving my name this time.

Scene was in the last minute. Should be more on Monday. The actress is Edith Gonzalez, who plays the title character.

Nothing here. The woman died when the trick went awry, and somebody associated with the trick tried to cover it up.

Not Edith, who while normally blonde, has been dark haired in this telenovela. The damsel was totally blonde and definetly not Edith's mesmerizing eyes.

Yes, Soko Leipzig is one of half a dozen "Soko" series of TV station Germany 2 (ZDF) and currently the only one with a prime time slot - no coincidence IMO. The episode is about the niece (or godchild?) of a German investigator being abducted in London. I have been looking forward to this for a while, but didn't realize it might air in UK a lot earlier than in Germany. Here it is not scheduled to air before 2009.

I checked some German blogs, and there are a few preview clips, but next to nothing DID-wise in them, just a lot of gun-wielding and running around.
