| i remember seeing a cap of amanda bynes and ashlee simpson with tape over thier mouths for a rock the vote ad. Does anybody have caps or clips of this. i cant seem to find this anywhere on the web. thanks |

| Nice update Raffish. I was particularly excited by the Arielle Kebbel clip. I must have missed that one. I had been hoping ever since I first saw this cutie, that she would find her way into a DID situation. Little did I know it had already happened. Awesome! While I could definitely have done without the putz, I thought Arielle made a very nice DID. She struggled with attitude and had some great vocal protesting as well. Her Mmmphs are top-notch in my humble opinion. The gag-talk put the final touch on a fairly auspicious start for Ms. Kebbel. It was somewhat interesting to see a bandanna gag used. While those are not my favorite, I do prefer them to a lot of the more boring gags often used these days. It was kind of old-school, as you don't see as many bandannas between teeth any more. Anyway, thank you very much for making my day, DID-wise. That was a very unexpected surprise indeed! |

| I just finished reading the Time Magazine review for the new Joss Wedon (creator of Buffy and Angel) series Dollhouse, which I "think" is premiering in Feb. (Its been bounced around the schedule so much I'm not sure when it shows for sure, or for the moment. Anyhow, sounds like the first episode has some potential because here is what Time had to say: But the first episode—in which Echo is imprinted with a kidnapping-negotiator's personality to secure the return of a rich man's abducted daughter—is well enough written to be absorbing. So I think we can put this one down, for the moment at least, as a definite maybe. By the way the "Echo" character is played by Eliza Dushku, the red-hot vampire slayer Faith from the original Buffy series, who had a decent scene herself in the horror flick "Wrong Turn." |

| While looking around for kung fu stuff I happenened upon a scene from an asian tv series called "Ultimate Crime Fighter." It's on AOL and You Tube. Supposedly a "supernatural crime series" with Hong Kong vet Yuen Biao as the hero. Anyway, it shows him fighting a bunch of thugs, some of them with sledgehammers. When the boss sees his Thugs 'R Us crew is losing, he and his assistants cut down a damsel they had tied with her arms overhead and drag her by her tied wrists to a big freezer where they tie her hands to a pole in front. When Yuen not-too-brightly rushes in to free her, the villains close and lock the door. Scene goes by (too) fast, but the girl is cute and does a good job of crying for help, even sort of bouncing up and down in distress. Series is supposedly going to be released on dvd in January for $59.95. High price, but it's 37 episodes and about 28 hours. |

| They waited until today to announce she had a heart attack Tuesday, and has been in critical condition since. And she's 85. Doesn't sound good. Think of all we wouldn't have now if she hadn't dared to push the envelope back in the day. Anyone who hasn't seen Gretchen Mol's biopic might want to this weekend while keeping its subject in your thoughts. |
