Thursday January 08 00:49:03 2009 Dona Barbara - alert |
Bit late, but tonight's episode of the Spanish language soap Dona Barbara, had Genesis Rodriguez bound to a post with her hands behind her back for the entire episode while the bad guy threatened her. At the end of the episode, her mother, the title character played by Edith Gonzalez, is brought onto the scene by one of the bad guy's men, her arms are handcuffed behind her back and she is then bound to a pole facing toward Genesis. No gags. Preview for next episode shows them still bound in that position, with the bad guy ripping open Genesis Rodriguez's blouse and threatening to rape the young woman in front of her mother. Dona Barbara airs weekdays at 7:00 p.m. Central time on Telemundo. |

Thursday January 08 01:05:19 2009 Voodoo Moon |
I just saw 2 women bound and tapegagged in a movie called "Voodoo Moon" on Chiller. These scenes are not in the database. The film stars Charisma Carpenter (she was not one of the two women I just mentioned). It is on from 12:30 AM - 2:30 AM. There could be more. |

Later on in the movie there were 2 other women bound (but not gagged). Neither of them was Charisma Carpenter. |

This reminds me of a Holy Grail of mine. Back in the early 70's there was a comic by the people who did MAD called PLOP! It used to feature a page that had there single panel comics. And I remember seeing one where a damsel was bound, hands behind her, feet tied up, and an OTM gag by a bunch of tiny elves who were carrying her away while her boyfriend was hiding his eyes and counting to a hundred. The man and damsel were both adults so I don't know why they'd be playing hide and seek, but who cares. I'd sure love to see this panel again. |

Ghostly Haunts #41, 1974. Great cover... Tom Sutton is underrated. |

Thursday January 08 13:15:48 2009 Frank Zappa music video holy grail? |
Way back in the early music video days, when the USA Network used to run such videos all night long, I recall there being a whacky Frank Zappa video with a girl bound and gagged, lying in a field, and being menaced by a serial killer who then turned into a monster (you know how zany Zappa was). I never saw it again and just assumed USA was forced to pull it because I don't think it turned out too well for the damsel in the end. Anyone recall anything about this video? There's nothing in the scene database. |

I see others have already put up the correct title and links to the cover, so that's great. It was published by Charlton in 1974 and then reprinted by Modern Comics in 1978. There were three stories in the comic. Thank goodness they gave the cover to "A Lovely Night in Paris." I found one copy of the comic; it seems to me I might have another one, but I'm not sure about that. If I should find an extra I could try to let you know Bob. |

Anyone know the answer? I suppose "The Return of the Son of Monster Magnet" (from the "Freak Out" album) would fit the video's description, but because Zappa was such a prolific artist probably a number of his works could've been adapted to such a plotline. |

Lauren from "13 - Fear is Real" is a very hot model. Her full name is Lauren Harris. Does anyone have a photo of her tied on the show that they could upload? |

Thursday January 08 16:51:46 2009 Legend of Chun Li |
Saw a trailer for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li with the gorgeous Kristin Kreuk. Pretty much what I expected/feared. Bad lighting, lots of quick edits, lots of wire use, and no hint of any DiD situations. Could be some, but don't count on it. Kristin, this isn't the way you should be goin'! |

At this moment on Telemundo's telenovela Genesis Rodriquez and Edith Gonzalez are tied to posts facing each other. No gags yet. |

Pretty much ended with nothing more than their hands tied behind their backs and no gags. |

Thursday January 08 21:32:52 2009 Thanks for the hard work, gentlemen |
Ghostly Haunts #41. Got it. Well, I don't HAVE it but now I know what I'm looking for. I've been going through a bunch of scans of 70s DC stuff and hadn't seen a hint of it. Now I know why, what with it not being DC and all. All that I need now is to find a copy of a poorly circulated obscure horror comic from the early 70s. Piece of cake, right? |

Thursday January 08 21:52:52 2009 Last House On The Left Remake |
Over at apple.com they have the new trailer for Wes Craven's remake of Last House On The Left. It's possible some of the bondage will be retained, as there is one brief shot of one of the captive girls being hustled through the forest, followed by a glimpse of her running away, and it looks as though her hands might be tied, though it's not the focus of the scene. No gag in evidence, and no indication that both girls are B&G, as in the original. |

Jane Seymour in "Dr. Quinn." And I think Victoria Tennant in "L.A. Story," if memory serves, though it doesn't happen. |
