Mr. Moderator, I grow really tired of reading Tapemaster's long and self centered rants. Could you please do away with him once and for all? Please? For us? |

The Moderator wrote: > This post was deleted. > Poster: here we go > Reason: Off-topic. I see absolutely no reason why Magellan's and my posts were deleted. I disagreed with what he was saying, and I made a counterpoint. I thought that arguing about whether a scene needed a gag or not was one of the central issues of discussion on this page. We were talking about a scene on mainstream television. I complained that there was no gag. Magellan pointed out that it was unnecessary story-wise. How is that off-topic? His post was borderline abusive and I countered with the same (for which I apologize to Magellan). However, you did not delete them for "abusiveness". You deleted them for being "off-topic", which makes no sense. You are leaving us with very little to talk about. |

I can't > remember what this book was called or who wrote it. Anyone remember? I'll bet you're thinking THE ABYSS by Steve Vance. In it a bunch of travelers are captured in a small town and held (bound, by the way) in the cellar of the largest residence there, awaiting some up-coming, nefarious event. While captive, they're forced to tell the most awful things they've ever done in their lives. One guy recounts how he and a group of friends read LET'S GO PLAY . . . as teens and then did the same thing to a girl from a nearby town. The event pretty much ruined all of their lives, even though they weren't found out by the authorities. THE ABYSS came out around '90, I think. Plus . . . eat your hearts out, but I KNOW the writer. I've even broken bread with him while we talked about this novel and LGPATA. He's a hell of a guy, actually. Leo the Literary. |

Friday January 16 10:21:51 2009 Death Race |
I will be prepared to be disappointed,if there's no scenes in Transporter 3.I'm also preparing to be disappointed again in this film.A shame really,as the leading actresses are perfect damsel in distress material. It's great seeing the hero character saving them, but its much better when the ladies are B&G. |

Friday January 16 16:14:55 2009 Girls Next Door |
For those of you who dont mind watching this "reality" TV series or at least dont mind "E" tv's blurring of naughty bits when they show the (well endowed) trio topless the febuary 15th episode on "E" television will show "Holly" bound with chains, hand and foot and in the playboy pool. the primary preview (link attatched to e-online, see the video on the girls next door) shows her hands in front, but I saw a similar preview on "E" which also appeared to have her hands behind. No gag (and Im a big gag fan) but Im thinking the combination of other ...er....erotics makes up for it.. http://www.eonline.com/on/shows/enews/index.jsp |

Friday January 16 18:15:41 2009 Celebrity Big Brother UK |
Well, Big Brother finally delivered in a sort of self-bondage way. Ulrika Jonsson and Mutya Buena can be seen wearing bandage gags here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/bigbrother/pictures/?page=31 -and on the previous 2 or 3 pages before that. |

Harrison Ford gave a great handgag to the actress who plays Chloe on "24" in the movie "Firewall." |

Tapemaster wrote: The reason why your post was deleted didn't have to do with discussion of whether it should or should not have a gag. It had to do with your "it doesn't matter about the story, it's about them giving us what we want." That's been off-topic for a long time. Just keep crossing the line and whining, the problem will resolve itself soon enough. You've gone into a mode where you want to push me again, even after PROMISING to abide by rules and not argue about them. |

The Moderator wrote: > Tapemaster wrote: > The reason why your post was deleted didn't have to do > with discussion of whether it should or should not have a > gag. It had to do with your "it doesn't matter about > the story, it's about them giving us what we want." > That's been off-topic for a long time. I don't remember you ever declaring that it was off-topic to express that we tune into these shows for the bondage, not for the story. I don't remember you ever declaring that it was off-topic to express disappointment when a scene does not go the way we want. I don't remember you ever declaring that it was off-topic to express an opinion about what we desire. You said that it was off-topic to post about "no-gag clauses", actress motivations about filming a bondage scene, behind-the-scenes speculation and things like that. Even though I completely disagree with your assertion that such messages would be "off-topic", I have not posted anything about that lately. MANY of the messages that you declare to be "off-topic" DO have to do with the subject of female bondage in the mainstream media (which is what this website is supposed to be all about). For some reason, there are certain types of messages and sub-topics that you just do not like to have posted on your website. Perhaps you are afraid that the FBI is going to close your website down if certain (harmless) things get posted. I don't know. It's anybody's guess what your motivation is. Since the time that you lifted my banishment, I have made an effort NOT to post things that you told me were definitely "off-topic". Yet you keep declaring even MORE things "off-topic". Sometimes you delete a message because you feel that it is "unproductive". What exactly is your definition of "unproductive"? What exactly is your definition of "off-topic"? I am NOT the only one who has noticed this. You have gotten some nasty messages thrown your way from people who feel the same way. You are deleting TOO MANY messages. You are making it so that this website is no longer fun to visit. You are stifling our communication with each other. I never know which (if any) of my messages are going to get through anymore. It seems that the only thing that you allow anymore is specific details about specific scenes. I thought that this was a DISCUSSION forum. In such a forum, we should be allowed to express our opinions, desires, and speculations as well as hard facts. > Just keep crossing the line and whining, the problem will > resolve itself soon enough. You've gone into a mode where > you want to push me again, even after PROMISING to abide > by rules and not argue about them. What lines have I been crossing? I post messages thinking that they are perfectly on-topic until you delete them and I realize that you have found something else to prevent us from talking about. I have no desire to "push" you. I want you to see that your moderation style is hurting your website. I have RARELY purposefully broken the rules of this website. The problem is that the "rules" are completely imprecise. In fact, there really are no "rules" anymore. You delete what you don't want. It's that simple. None of my posts actually break any of the official rules declared on this website. There are certain kinds of things that you don't want posted on this website and you get rid of them, even when they DO have to do with the topic of women in bondage in the mainstream media. You delete such messages without giving us any real reasons other than that they are "off-topic" or "unproductive". You have used those terms so much that they have lost all meaning. It comes down to this: A message is "off-topic" if Brian SAYS it is "off-topic". If you think that I am the only one who feels this way about your moderation behavior, why don't you just ask everyone here? |
