Yep, but even more fun to add in Pat's potential reaction.
I was bored in the shopping plaza Boxing Day sales, but there a theatre with big displays of the Reese Witherspoon movie poster.
Are they going for bondage to attract attention?
Will Pat figure they are and crucify them for using a lame no gag loosie? ;)
And of course,
will Pat's comments inspire someone to take the poster:

and photoshop a gag on it?

As you know, when your wife is in a store "Just give me 5 f*ing minutes" = 2 hours. Any silly exercise like this that kills time is quite welcome

LOL...sorry bro! If it helps, I managed to get MYSELF hooked on the dumb channel also! Watched it on & off all nite till around 3 (late nite!).
As you said, they FINALLY got to the "ST's"...man, never thought there'd be so many "S" videos! They just played "Steam" by Peter Gabriel, so hopefully they will show it in the next couple hours (they BETTER after all this!) :-)

PS...be sure to have your machines already running, as if I remember correctly, the very first shot in the video is of the girl tied to the chair, before anything else begins...no music so you can really hear her mmmphhh-ing away as the door closes.

Why waste all that time? You can find that video on Youtube, including the full length versuion.

Yep...very true. However, I'm one of the old-time collectors who keep my scenes on VHS tapes (well, now DVDs, and converting all my tapes to DVDs as well) so I can watch them on the big screen...I just never have gotten in to the keeping my scene collection on my computer...I'd rather watch on a 52" screen from my sofa than a tiny 14" computer screen, sitting at my desk!
And I just haven't got the equipment or know-how to dub internet clips over to regular DVDs (if that can even be done).

So I still do the "search-and-set-my-DVD-recorder-to-grab-a-scene" method.

I can answer that in one word. Dialup.

It can, and you shouldn't need any special equipment, so it's just a know-how thing. There are various plugins for Firefox etc. that will allow you to download the Flash video from the site (I use Fast Video Download), and then you just need to convert it to a format that whatever program you use to assemble and burn your DVDs can read and convert to MPEG2. (On my Mac, I use a program called iSquint for this purpose; I'm sure there are plenty of options for Windows as well, though I don't know offhand what they are.)

Thanks for the info Raffish...I'll definitely look into that...I have some computer whiz-kid friends that I'm sure can show me how.
And I guess it's the only way I'll get the "Street of Dreams" video anyway, since they just went from "Stray Cat Strut" to "Streets of Philadelphia"...skipped right over it...Rats.
Oh well, there's still my old VHS copy I got off trade!

Comics query
When I was growing up I read an installment of the 'Legion of the Superheroes',strong memories which have remained with me into adulthood due to it's kinky bondage elements. The story must have been published around the mid-70's - think it was a back-up strip rather than the main story- and it involved, I think, Saturn Girl involved in some sort of scientific experiment with the other Legioinaires. Her participation seemed to involve being strapped to a chair with some form of helmet strapped to her head, incorperating a strap which covered her mouth, effectively gagging her. One of the kinky elements which appealed to me at the time was the fact that at the story's conclusion, I think she remained restrained. I would love to locate the original issue of the comic this was published in - again, I would date this around 1974/75. Can anyone help regarding this? Has anyone on the forum got any memories of this particular deviant strip?

"Batman: Gotham After Midnight" #8. DC has been putting out tons of comics the last few months including mini-series, maxi-series, crossovers, guest-starrings, etc. with ol' Bats to try to squueze every last dollar out of the Dark Knight mania. Same thing Marvel does with Spidey and Wolverine. So it's not too surprising a few of them may have gotten buried. Comic shops have only so much display space.

I missed that particular one, but I do remember an issue, probably from the '80's, where a girl and some "master jailer" or words to that effect were out to capture the Legionaires. Any time the girl screamed, any nearby male, friend or foe, was driven to help her by attacking the person who was hurting her. So when any Legion member attacked her she could get help from legion guys by screaming or crying, and then her jailer friend would truss up all those involved. LOTS of restraint in that issue. I lost my copy somewhere along life's road, unfortunately.

RTN network
The RTN network's web page is off the air, and the network is in schedule free fall. (due to lax business plans) I was looking forward to some of those old shows and there scenes, especially It takes A thief. Is there any other avenue one can look to get their correct schedule

The bad guy's name was Grimbor. He was one of the baddies who I think was erased from existence by the big retcon in the 80's.

Shame they don't bring him back. If he was kinky then, imagine what he could do if they brought him back in this less conservative era......

I still have this issue somewhere. My defunct "DiD-tionary" site used to have scans of the scene back when everyone offered free server space. I don't have the scans anymore as that was two computers ago.

The story runs something along the lines where each of the Legionaires temporarily goes mad. I forget the precise details, and don't know why this happens.

Karate Kid has no choice but to restrain Saturn Girl at her insistence. Otherwise, she could possibly use her mind powers to control him, drive him crazy, and eventually have him kill her to relieve her of her psychosis. She does in fact wear a helmet with a metal strip that gags her, as you mentioned.

A couple things I liked about the scene was that Saturn Girl "insists" that he gag her so she couldn't talk him into freeing her, and after he binds her, we are told he carries her "writhing body" to a bed, where he secures her. I always wondered if Lightning Lad, her future husband, would have been pissed if he knew his girl was insisting upon playing kinky games with Karate Kid.

There was another scene where a villain captured Saturn Girl and a few of her comrades and put her in shackles with yet another superpower-draining helmet and metal gag attachment. Maybe that was Grimbor...? Our old pal Felon had the scene up on his site back in the day.

Re: Wild Wild West scene ID help
Thanks for the reply I have the Lana Wood scene did that other one sound familiar to you? The girl is blond in the scene and she is handgagged by James West and then gagged with a blue bandana by some bad guys I believe. I seem to remember West rescued her in some deserted town sequence. I guess I can rent the series on NetFlix and post exactly which episode it is!

Another Comics Question
I've been meaning to ask the community about this for a while and all the recent comics talk has reminded me to ask. Here's what I'm looking for:

Sometime pre-June, 1979 there was a horror comic, probably from DC but possibly Charlton, that featured a damsel kidnapped by morlock-type creatures and spirited away through the sewers of either Paris or London. She's tied, gagged, and led by the little creatures to some rat-god or something. At one point she manages to break the gag (which was a cloth OTM gag) due to it being made from rotted cloth, screams, then gets re-gagged. Her boyfriend was looking for her at the same time, I think. Don't really remember the end but don't think it went well for her/him.

Like I said, it was probably from DC (House of Secrets, House of Mystery, etc.) and was June '79 or earlier, which I remember because I read (okay, obsessively re-read) it during my first summer camp visit. Three things I remember from that camp: shooting .22s, going on a crawdad hunt, and reading that book.

Any help at all is appreciated.

Also, I'm putting together a list of full treatment scenes in mainstream comics that I hope to have online sometime first quarter '09. I'll probably solicit requests for known scenes shortly.
