Y'know, Fear Is Real is up to six out of seven eps so far with bondage imagery, with this week's straightjacket escape scene. I guess it is a record-setter as I know of no other series to match it. |

That said, I'll take a Joss Whedon series every day of the week. Anything even close to BTVS (Top five show of all time) quality will make it a great show to watch, with or without bound/gagged females. On a different-but-related subject, I'm really panting for a Summer Glau/Cameron scene. I wonder, is it possible to gag a terminator/robot? |

Does anyone know if there is a site dedicated bondage scenes in mainstream British TV? Thanks in advance for your help! |

Just put Buffy into the database. 30 hits! 18 if you limit it to gags! Granted, a number of those are handgags, but still, many series that run that long don't have half that. It's also worth noting all three of Joss's previous shows have featured at least 2 bondage scenes. (and you can forgive Firefly the lack of gags seeing as it only lasted 11 episodes). I've always seen Whedon as one of our strongest contributors so I was suprised that most consider him to avoid it. Myself, I find it hard to discount 30 hits. |

Sunday February 15 16:06:23 2009 Deep Fried and Minty Fresh bonus scene |
If you recorded last Thursday's CSI, you may want to review the scene between 9 and 10 minutes where investigators survey the house of the couple where the woman has been handcuffed to the bed. There is a quick panning shot across the living room in which you see a brief but unmistakable picture on the wall of a woman wearing a mini-tunic tied on a rack. Looks like it came from "the Crimson Executioner." |

Most of us are still pissed off that he never gave the full treatment to SMG, but aside from that, the shows were littered with bondage. All might not have had gags, but women were fairly often tied up in some form or another. And to Dollhouse...it has potential. The great thing about Eliza Dushku's character is that isn't going to have super powers. Sure, one of her characters may be able to fight off a guy or two, but her persona on the first episode was very much a damsel-in-distress type. And the series did come through with a scene in the first episode, though it was no interest to us. But still, it's one-for-one. Give it time. |

So were there actually any handgags in this flick? And if so, who was it? |

Yeah, but most of the gag scenes were handgag scenes (which I don't consider to be gags) and a lot of the bondage scenes were real loosies -- all those giant manacles. There were a few good scenes, but over the show's six year span ... not impressive. A lot of those 18 hits you got for gag also included the words "no gag." I counted five actual gag scenes, which is frankly about twice as many as I thought but still not all that much. > And to Dollhouse...it has potential. It has HUGE potential. Basically, Dushku is a slave, at times a sex slave, with high tech keeping her enslaved instead of chains and whips (dammit). Every time she or any other Active) goes on a mission, she's a DiD waiting to happen. Sweet. > Give it time. I for one will be tuning in regularly, though I'm going to have to tape Fear Is Real while I watch/record Dollhouse, and hope that Flashpoint doesn't unexpectedly come up with something good in the meantime. Jeebus, 9 pm Friday is crowded all of a sudden. Sadly, I don't expect this to continue for long. |
