Please follow link to see Kristin Cavallari tape gagged amongst many others in their campaign 'No H8':

If someone can identify the others gagged that would be awesome. Also anyone know where to get the scene from Viva Family with Nadine Krueger (see brians for details).

Possibility on Ultimate Gamer Tonight
Saw a promo for tonight's program at 10 pm EST on SciFi. Briefly showed a woman standing AOH. Maybe they were raised that way, maybe they were chained or tied like that. Don't know. But might be worth checking out.

There is nothing in this movie .It might be a new release where you are situated but it is not a new release ,released on DVD in the states at this point .

Julie Roberts in Duplicity
Always a longshot with Miss Roberts, but this movie opens Friday with Clive Owen. Promo showed him tied up and tape blindfolded, but it's a mystery/thriller, so maybe something for Julia.

Nothing for Miss Roberts, even though we get a nice setup and they blow it. The man blindfolded in the previews is Tom McCarthy who also gets gagged so that's your putz alert for the day.

Film itself is decent, tries to over-complicate itself when it doesn't need to. Otherwise it's a fun flick.

Well thanks for the help about the scene. I actually watched the movie a few days ago, then saw that poster posted a few posts back, and i said to myself "hey i didn't see that". I hope you won't mind answering, but do you know how many minutes in the Suzanne pleshette scene occurs. 30 minutes in? 40 minutes in? Thank you for the little back info old fellow NYer!

Pray for Natasha Richardson, everyone
For those who haven't heard, she was critically injured in a skiing accident in Canada yesterday and the latest reports are that it's not looking good.

Richardson got it as Patty Hearst in the eponymous 1988 biopic and famously paired with Elizabeth McGovern to give it good to Victoria Tennant in "The Handmaid's Tale" a couple of years later. And of course, she and sister Joely ("The Affair of the Necklace") Richardson are the database's heirs to the legacy of the Redgrave acting dynasty, having followed their mother Vanessa and aunt Lynn there.

Keep her and her family in your thoughts tonight.

TVguide web site
Is there a good TV Guide-type web site to locate when upcoming shows are on TV? For instance, I thought Life on Mars was on Thursday nite but the alert on the Alerts Page says it's on Wednesday nite. Rather than just asking, I'd like to be able to just go to a site & type in the shows title & see all the upcoming episodes (and hence, when they are on). I used to go to TVGuide.com but they have cahnged it all around & now it just seems to be a grid with the shows for the night on it.....there is no SEARCH feature I can find that just lets you type in a show & find out just when THAT show is on. On TV Guide.com there IS a search bar at the top but when I type in a show, it doesn't appear...just the schedule grid.
There have been several such sites I've used in teh past that were just great & then they would change their format & appearance & invariably they wouldn't be useful anymore. I hate to ask here but I figured someone would know of a good site for just this purpose.
Thanks all, rex

Deleted scenes
Back in the early 90s I used to get VHS tapes from a now defunct mail order catalog company.

Around 93 I read something somewhere about the 'tie up scene' in the original 1951 version of "The Thing".

I called them up and after some researching the customer service rep disvovered that there were two versions of it.

The one normally shown on TV and about a four minute longer version.

He searched their inventory and they actually carried both versions.

I got the long version and eagerly put in my state of the art VHS recorder and fast forwarded through it looking for the 'tie up scene'.

Ken Tobey goes into the female lead's office and since they had been romantically involved previously and still doesn't really trust his intentions, she has him sit on a chair, and loosely wraps some clothesline around him.

After a few minutes of 'witty banter' he shrugs his shoulders, the clothesline falls away, he stands up, and leaves. Absolutely no bearing on the rest of the film, perfect scene to cut.

An hour on the phone and 25 dollars for that !!!!!!!!!!!!

So, if you hear about a cut/deleted scene don't get your hopes up too much.

Our digital cable package has a search feature on the DVR that is a pretty convienent way to find out when a show is scheduled.

Once you know when it is on, then you can also get a brief description of the show.

The CableOne digital cable guide only goes out two weeks, but supposedly the real cable systems have digital channel guides that go out a month, or more.
