Monday April 27 01:12:57 2009 Sonny With A Chance |
That Demi Lovato scene looks like a tape-over-cleave gag in the video I saw, but maybe the quality wasn't so good. Can anyone confirm? |

Marilyn Chambers died last week. I'm not sure but did she ever have any bound and gagged scene in any type of medium |

Yeah apparently there is another scene with her in Princess Protection where she is sporting a cleave gag. Haven't seen the clip myself though but would love it if someone could find one :-) |

It's not on the schedule for re-airing that I can see. |
Monday April 27 13:17:15 2009 Do you have any rope ? |
From my childhood I remember a TV show, I *think* starring Gene Barry. Late 1950's-ish, early 60's??? Can't remember the name of the show, but I think he starred as a private eye type character & maybe it was a movie. Anyway, this investigator was at the home of a woman who had given him a clue & he prepared to leave to check it out. She wanted to go with him, at which point he calmly asked her, "Do you have any rope?" She found some, I think in a pantry, and gave it to him. He then escourted her to a sofa where she happily made herself very comfy while he bound and gagged her. Seems to me she was happy that he'd have to return to un-tie her. Can anyone identify this scence from my description? Davey |

Monday April 27 14:14:45 2009 mission impossible |
Just saw an episode of Mission Impossible. In the fifth season I saw an Aww S#$@ scene. In the opening segment were they show quick scenes of the epsisode to come there was a shot of a woman getting her wrists tied (very quick) As the show progressed it turned out to be Leslie Warren wrists in the beginning shot. The show is called The Missle. The sub plot is a physco has fixated upon Dana (Warren) she is kidnapped by the guy. She wakes up on a bed, they have a conversation, he produces a white hanky, but at no time do they show her being tied up. The ending comes when she splashes him with hot grease and runs away. Did they cut something out of the episode or what? |

I believe Cate Blanchett is playing Marian in the film, and supposedly their touting her as not being the "damsel in distress" type, whatever that means. In any case, speaking of Robin Hood, there was a brief scene at the beginning of the latest episode of the BBC series (3x05, "Let the Games Commence"). In the opening moments of the episode Isabella (Lara Pulver) is running through the woods to escape two knights. When they catch up to her, one produces some rope to bind her and she initially acts as if she will go quietly but puts up a struggle before he can tie her. The two manage to overpower her however and bind her wrists behind her back. Robin shows up to save the day and quickly frees her. As I mentioned, it is a rather short scene, but Miss Pulver is very attractive (in my opinion, even more so than the now departed Marian, Lucy Griffiths) and she is set to be a regular for the rest of Series 3 as she is revealed to be Guy of Gisborne's sister later in the episode. However, her sympathies seem to lie with Robin, and this could conceivably lead to the situation we all know and love where the hero has to tie up and gag the heroine so that it is not obvious that she was secretly helping him the whole time. They used the same plot device with Marian last season at one point, and given that Isabella seems to be the true replacement for Marian this season, history might repeat itself. |

The show is called "the Name of the Game", and the damsel is Shirley Jones. It's in the DB. I tried to post a quote from the DB, but got a message saying my post contained "A link to a streaming video". It contained no such thing. What gives? |

Mad Dan wrote: > (unsigned poster) wrote: ------- Record number: 825 Title: The Name of the Game Medium: TV Series Actress: Shirley Jones Description: Episode: "The Third Choice" After she falls for the charms of the series' lead character (Gene Barry) and lets him in on the location of a (male) co-worker of his she had a hand in kidnapping, he lays her on a sofa and binds her in a front hogtie, tape-gagging her after assenting to her request for a kiss. The scene includes some classic dialogue: GB: "Do you have any rope of tape?" SJ: "Clothesline, why?" GB: "I'm going to tie you up and gag you." SJ: "That's hardly necessary." GB: "Would you get the rope?" She does. ------- I remember this scene. Shirley's amused attitude was priceless, as was the way she rolled her eyes at the very end of the scene. :-) As I recall, she was *just* past Hottie and drifting into MILF. To point out the obvious (to all you young whippersnappers), old ladies were not *always* old ladies. |

Monday April 27 17:01:41 2009 Surprise scenes? |
The recent scene in "Sonny With A Chance" where Demi Lovato got an OTM gag, coming right after discussion of her getting a cleave-gag in the upcoming "Princess Protection Program" brought up an issue for me. Do we know of any other occasions where an actress has had an upcoming scene advertised for something, and then she shows up in something else and gets a DiD scene totally by surprise? I can't think of any other times besides Demi's recent DiD double-dip, but I know it has to have happened before. |

Closest I can think of is Jessica Alba. While everyone was waiting for Sin City, the "Into the Blue" stills were released. But they might have been released just after it was confirmed Alba was not gagged in "Sin City." |

Tonight's CSI Miami show (ep: "Dead on Arrival") has a cleave gag scene near the end. One of the reality show gals has a stalker Checking your US guides, it's the same ep scheduled to air down there in a few hours. |

Monday April 27 21:30:39 2009 Heroes possibility--right now |
U.S. showing of Heroes (East/Central) is on right now--at the commercial break, Sylar had revealed himself to Claire. Might be setting up a possible DiD situation. Should be back from break in a minute or two. I'll update when we know more |

For years I thought that scene had been cut from syndicated reruns of "Mission: Impossible" but the fifth season DVD release proved me wrong. The episode is uncut (or supposed to be) in that set and the scene is not there. Frequently M:I would shoot enough footage to make a two hour episode and then edit it down to fit the hour time slot. Most likely Lesley's scene wound up on the cutting room floor. |
