Watched this very brief scene.Shame the bad guy didn't gag the damsel in question. That would have been nice to see.Still,it was good to see him get his come-uppance,for what he was going to do to her.Let's hope for better luck,in the next Bond film. |

I will not waste my time watching it. I find it incongruous, however, that the Lifetime Network, affectionately known as the Bondage Channel by people like us, excised the scene in which the damsel is bound and gagged, especially since she is gagged with duct tape in the novel; actresses on the Lifetime Network are almost always gagged with duct tape. I wonder how many rolls their prop department uses each year? |

Maybe they've been gagging so many actresses with duct tape lately that they ran out of duct tape and there was no money for more and so this delectable actress couldn't be bound and gagged with duct tape so they changed the scene and didn't have her bound and gagged because she couldn't be bound and gagged with duct tape. Budget cuts are happening everywhere, you know. |

I will try to find it somewhere online. I don't have many unfulfilled Holy Grails left thanks to this page. Still Dyin to see the fantasy island scene where some dark haired babe is tied to some kind of a slab. |

The First season of Buck Rogers debuted in September of 1979 and ran into 1980. I'm guessing It was probablysome time in 79. The Sunday paper here at the time was the Pittsburgh Press. I seem to recall it being on the front page of the "Funnies" but I could be wrong about that. Good Hunting! |

Sunday April 05 20:08:29 2009 Does anyone know the name and actress involved in this Spanish comedy show? |
It involved a male doctor and his family gathering around the TV to watch a program whenm suddenly everyone is sucked into the set. The doctor became a Batman type character like a buzzard, his wife became a Catwoman type character, and so on. The episode was two half hour episodes on different days. It seems to parody Batman Returns. The man's daughter was dress as the Ice Princess and is originally kidnapped by Catwoman and is takes bound but not gagged up to the roof of a building. As Buzzardman and Coyotewoman fight, she is suddenly kidnapped by her boyfriend dressed as a panda walking on his knees. When next seen, she is still bound but not gagged sitting on a chair in Joker's lair until rescued form Joker and his gang by Buzzardman. What is the name of this show and the bound actress? |

I've added a hi-res clip on my front page. The framing and audio sync are a little bit off, since the best source I could find was a telesync, but I think it looks pretty good overall. |

Sunday April 05 22:11:19 2009 TV Scenes that have been trimmed over time |
The Erin Gray thread got me thinking. It's true that the scene has been cut over time and those of us who remember the original airing of the episode know that it has been trimmed. I wonder: what other ones are out there that people remember? I have one more: Knight Rider: The Topaz connection. Jeanna Michaels. The database reads as follows: "About 35 minutes into the episode a woman (Michaels) is grabbed inside an airplane and hand-gagged. There is lots of struggling and mmmmphing. She is dressed in sweater and pants. About five minutes later she is seen as a captive in a remote cabin. She is in a chair, her hands tied to the armrests, and tightly cleave-gagged with white cloth. Some one-way dialog from her captor. Later, the villains try to drug her, so they release one of her arms, holding it and hand-gagging her for the injection. At around the 45 minute mark, they put her in the back of an SUV. She is unconscious, lying on the floor, hands tied behind her back. The villain try to escape but they crash the SUV. She is rescued from the back of the SUV shortly afterwards." The line that says "some one way dialogue from her captor" is the part that has been trimmed. As most have seen this scene, the one way dialogue is from the captor telling her that he's going to take the gag off and for her to behave, the gag scene is pretty short. In the original airing I distinctly remember that the captor came back to the cabin from grocery shopping and had a pretty long one way conversation with her as she gave pretty mean looks towards her captor. It was pretty sweet...unfortunately haven't seen it since. Any others out there? |
