Sunday May 03 00:35:59 2009 Voice Actor B+Gs in Live-Action? |
Ashley Johnson's upcoming scene is pretty cool, but what other actresses who have done a lot of voice work have also received B+G scenes at some point in their live action careers? I know Nicole Sullivan (Shego, Mira Nova, Drew Saturday) got one on Mad TV, and I think Philece Sempler (Mimi, Misao) got one on some 80s soap opera. Alyson Court (Lydia in Beetlejuice, Claire Redfield) also got one as a teen. Funny, Alyson Court and Nicole Sullivan have both done B+G scenes as voice actresses AND as live-action actresses. I don't think Ashley Johnson's had an animated DiD scene yet though. Anyone else? |

Not to the best of my memory. Encore Action ran the whole series uncut without commercial interruptions a few years back, and while I only vaguely recall the situation you saw, I can definitively state that Wagner neither stretched rope nor bit cloth during the show's run. The only DID-like peril she found herself in was in the first half of the two-episode saga "Invasion from Outer Space," in which her clothing got caught on a conveyor belt which began lifting her towards an incinerator. Despite her nice struggling and emoting, the scene was unfortunately deemed by the powers that be here not to be DID-like enough to merit inclusion in the database. Poor Wende; someone that good-looking whose best role was in a show that ran so briefly-and who later met such an untimely end-perhaps deserved a little extra consideration for being immortalized here, but that's just my opinion. Well, enough of that. Thanks to the later poster who added the picture from probably the series' best scene-Diana Hyland's in the episode "Give 'Em Enough Rope." Always loved how Britt Reid manages to get a lick in from behind the Hornet's mask when he comes upon the chair-tied Hyland, who plays a lawyer suing Reid and his paper for defamation. After taking in the scene for a few precious seconds, he intones, "You look uncomfortable, Claudia." |

Short scene- saw it on the Friday show aired in Canada- the preview is almost all you get....Jill is cleave gagged with her hands tied overhead. There is a humorous bit later where she barges in on the reception, demanding Nina be arrested for restraining her...holding the cloth used to bind and gag her......a longer scene would have been sweet. For those looking for it Monday in the USA- it takes place in the opening scenes, before the credita....but only a few seconds. |

Sunday May 03 11:58:34 2009 Krod Mandoon |
The latest episode of Krod (Comedy Channel) featured a dungeon scene with at least nine female DID's in various forms of restraint, i.e. stocks, pillory, cage, scold's bridle, etc. The bad news is they were mostly in the background, out of focus and poorly lit. Still, it was a DID scene, the first for this series, I believe. The episode repeats a few more times. Check your local listings. Southbound |

Sunday May 03 13:41:05 2009 Claudia Schiffer in V Magazine (May/June 2009) |
The German supermodel, 38, sizzled in a black Louis Vuitton outfit and saucy Yves Saint Laurent footwear -- "accessorized" in handcuffs. Claudia tried out karate moves by a PRAM for V Magazine’s summer swimsuit issue. I guess I know which of the issue's six supermodel covers will be the most popular among Brian's Pagers. The issue is due on newsstands May 6. |

I'm enjoying watching Grace Park,as she acts out her character,Lt Sandra Telfair,in this computer game cut-scenes.Sadly,I don't think she'll be bound, and gagged by the bad guy, known as Kane,to be rescued.Pity,I'd have liked to have seen that included in the game. |

And, Hadji, I really enjoyed your post. In one of my favorite scenes of all time, from the soap opera "Centovetrine", Melania Maccaferri wears a duct tape gag, and her captor's hair almost totally matches its color. |

Anyone else? Dana Delany has been tied or cuffed several times and I think she was gagged at least once. She was the voice of Lois Lane in some Superman cartoons and I'm sure her Lois was B&G once or twice. I've always sort of wanted to see an actress do a voice-over for a B&G character - see the lips pursed together, maybe a little frown and the head shaking a bit...? |

Lois Lane WAS bound and gagged twice while Dana Delany voiced her. And I agree with you on wanting to see footage of an actress doing voice-over for a bound and gagged character, I always wondered how they did that. I know I wouldn't have the balls to ask them how they do it at a convention or something. |
Sunday May 03 19:50:22 2009 Re: Voice Actor B+Gs in Live-Action? |
I would kill to see how Lisa Edelstein recorded her bound and gagged scene for Superman. That was without a doubt, the most realistic, wild, and spirited voice-over of a gagged woman I've ever heard. She must've went crazy in the recording booth. |

So there was nothing on Friday or any day last week leading up to Jill's capture?? She just shows up tied & gagged in a closet tomorrow? I didn't catch Friday's episode but I'm assuming nothing leading up to her getting in her predicament. |

On the "making-of" featurette on the Osmosis Jones DVD, you briefly see one of the film's directors holding his hand (covered by his sleeve) over Brandy's mouth as she mmmphs for a scene where her character is hand-gagged in the movie. I'm not sure if this is done every time a voice actress does a gagged scene, but I kind of find it hard to believe that she would agree to actually be gagged in the recording booth. I imagine in most cases they just hold a hand over their own mouths. |
