Wednesday May 13 00:28:18 2009 Without a Trace - next week |
Preview for next Tuesday's season finale of Without a Trace showed a quick snippet of a blonde woman tape-gagged and presumably bound to a chair. |

Wednesday May 13 01:35:51 2009 Days of our Lives Shelley Hennig scene update |
Came across this picture from Friday's episode on Shelley Hennig's site. And judging by spoilers from the week of May 25, it looks we'll have another extra week of possible scenes for Shelley. Given the fact that the kidnapper's father works at the morgue where Stephanie's held captive, I say it's likely that she'll get the treatment at some point during her captivity. Keeping my fingers crossed! |

They showed a preview last week of her being pushed into the morgue (freezer locker thing) knocked out and unbound. |

And given that the character (named "Vittoria" per the IMDb) is played by the delectable Ayelet Zurer, it is EARNESTLY to be hoped! Hmmm...her bio says she's Israeli by birth. Wonder if at 54 I'm too late for a bar mitzvah. Ya think? |

A word of caution: I remember reading an interview with the director of Angels and Demons where they stated that it will be a less faithful adaptation than Da Vinci Code (justification was they wanted to take more creative liberties to enhance the film's mainsteam appeal). So, I don't think we can count on a scene solely on the basis of it being a literal adaptation. |

Plus, for those who have read the book, Dan Brown refers to Vittoria being gagged only in one page, in one sentence buried somewhere in the narrative. Do you remember how they skipped the gag scenes in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"? Or when Thomas Harris removed the gag from a bondage scene while adapting "Hannibal Rising", HIS OWN BOOK? I believe the gagless bondage moment for Vittoria in the book will be transferred into the film, though. It's too dramatic of a scene to be skipped. |

Nothing but a bunch of putz scenes I hate to say. Film is equally as boring so you're better off going to Star Trek again. |

Yeah, and judging by the article I just read, I'm afraid that's how it's gonna be for the rest of her kidnapping. Dammit! Always getting my hopes up too early. At least, there's OLTL with 3 DiDs to compensate... |

Wednesday May 13 15:16:37 2009 OLTL |
The storyline wasn't shown again on Wednesday. Even by soap standards, this is absurd. Two straight days where the storyline isn't shown? Get with it already. Hope they are preparing those gags. |

Could you describe or transcribe the scene for those of us who haven't read the book? Calling it a dramatic scene makes it sound enticing! |

Actually, I think I counted 3 escape attempts in the spoilers, 2 next week and 1 the week of May 25th, so being optimistic, I would assume that the bad guy will eventually resort to tie her up, but as I stated before, I'm not getting my hopes up anymore until I see it. On the positive side of things, she's getting chloroformed and handgagged, which for me, is better than I hope. |

Wednesday May 13 16:21:13 2009 In comic shops in two months or so |
The current issue of "Previews" for comic shops shows a cover for "The Spider: Judgement Night" from Moonstone Publishing with a woman tied to a chair. It appears she is gagged but it's hard to tell as her head is slumped over, either unconscious or worse. Also they are advertising superheroine costumes for the likes of Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Poison Ivy, Jade, and female versions of Robin and the Flash, so if you know a woman who you might be able to talk into it... These things are supposed to be out in July sometime or thereabout. |

Bad guys on Soaps can be REALLY dumb, and often REALLY go out of their way to avoid tying up female victims even when it would make their lives (the villains') so much easier. |

Wednesday May 13 21:11:10 2009 Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso-Telemundo12p |
The noon time hour version of this Telemundo soap will soon be coming up to a very good B.& G. and Blindfold. The DID is wearing the same outfit as when she is captured(Girl in yellow tee and tan shorts). I did not see the capture in the half hour version. Scenes spread over at least two days, with on screen gagging, good shots of ropes, DID bound on bed, later blindfolded and dragged to car. Based on other scenes, DID should be at least a couple days off, or it could start tomorrow(with soaps outfits can stay the same for weeks). Will update if I get a better indication of when it starts. |
