I dont think he was pushing the Mod, he was just politely asking for clarification because he didn't understand the reasoning behind it. Brian has always been OK with letting people ask for an explanation. |
Saturday April 11 12:11:33 2009 Brenda Captain Caveman |
Don't mean to lower the tone here, but one of the best cartoon series' for distressed damsels, was Captain Caveman.Brenda, the scared one,was a good target,to be kidnapped by the villians.Although,I don't remember,if she was bound and gagged in the show! Hope this provided everybody, with a good laugh! |

I'm not new here, I been around since Brian had the ezive up. I was simply asking. I hope we're all adults here and I hope Brian wouldn't mind answering my question. If not, no hard feeling from me. |

Does anyone know if there is anything for Emmy Rossum in the new Dragonball-Z movie? |

My post was about my youtube account. Pretty much anything about videos, especially as relates to youtube or technical questions belongs there. That's where you'll get the best advice. |

Saturday April 11 16:30:21 2009 Harpers Island |
I'm not sure if this new CBS show has been mentioned on here yet ,it premiered a few days ago but i only got around to watching the downloaded episode yesterday . The basic premise is a group of people go to an island for a wedding ,an island where 7 years previously a series of vicious murders occurred .One by one they all get murdered ,is the original killer back or is it someone else ? Anyhow there are a number of hot chicks in this and i think plenty of scope for a scene for us ,the first episode had two putzes killed off ,one of them bound under the boat they were travelling on so he would be decapitated by the motor when the boat started .The other cut in half on a bridge . The elaborate guy under the boat killing leads me to believe there may be something for us ,the killer doesn't seem to be going for the simple stalk and slashing . Anyhow ,worth keeping an eye on . |

They usually show up sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning, I am kinda worried that next week's video won't offer very much, but at least I can now cross up two more of my top five diva wishlist(Trish, Ashley, Mickie& Kelly), all this leaves is Maria. |

Saturday April 11 17:01:20 2009 This and that and nothing in particular... |
...or as Washington Post television critic Tom Shales remarked in a review of Marcia Cross in a first-season "Desperate Housewives" episode: "She looks like Phyllis Kirk just before Vincent Price was about to pour boiling hot wax all over her body in the 3-D masterpiece (of its kind) 'House of Wax.' It's apple-pie apoplexy, a magnificently poised expression of petrified panic." (Just for the record, Cross wasn't tied up in that episode, but since I never saw it, I can't speak as to what the source of her character's terror was.) And of course, Kirk is one of the reasons I'm here right now. Mucho kudos to whomever it was that linked to the "Thin Man" episode with one of her scenes over on the video page. You just KNOW the director of that episode HAD to be One of Us, given the lengths to which he went to ensure the scene was well lighted and posed to take full advantage of Kirk's heavenly legs despite the limitations imposed by the skirt lengths of the day. And let's give props to Kirk, too, since it couldn't have been comfortable for her to sit like that for very long with her ankles roped together, even at the tender age of 31 or 32 (the IMDb has moved her birthdate back to within a year of the one I had long shown for her). And while I'm here, I might as well pass on the news that Liam Neeson has signed on for his first new project since losing wife and database damsel Natasha ("Patty Hearst") Richardson last month. It'll be a remake of "Clash of the Titans" with Alexa Davalos in the role of Andromeda, whom Judi Bowker played in the 1981 original, racking up a database entry in the process. Speaking of Bowker, whatever happened to her? Seems she's pretty much dropped off the earth, scene-wise. Not a lot of IMDb entries for her in the last couple of decades, none since 2003 or so. Someone who was that good-looking ought to just about be a Hall of Fame prospect by now, wouldn't you think? And if this is better answered over on either the Video or Trade pages, I'll look there for a response, but does anyone know of a free FLV to MP4 converter for Macs that still WORKS? ISquint doesn't anymore, at least not for stuff from YouTube. I mean, I'm OK with having to scroll through the original files to get to the good parts, but eing able to whack them down to the relevant portions and keep Kirk close to my heart by taking her along on a iPod would be icing on the cake. |

Saturday April 11 17:08:30 2009 Big Game and movies like it |
I remember a string of trailers for low-budget, crappy horror movies with blatant DID potential (see link on video page for trailer for Big Game). But not only have these movies not been listed in the database, I'm not sure how one would be able to see them in the first place. What happens to these movies? Where could one see a movie like "Big Game" and countless others? Two others I remember off the top of my head are one called something like "Freak Show" involving a family on a road trip stopping at a tourist trap and the father's daughter being terrorized by freaks, and another one with similar plot to Big Game only with a different pseudo-famous actor playing the bad guy. |
