| Am I right to assume that all of you have had a scene come as a complete and pleasant [!!] surprise? Well, it sure happened to me last night while watching "The Prestige" on 'FX.' Piper Perabo is one of my favorites as an actress and a DiD, but I had yet to see the movie. Too true that the flick left a lot to be desired, IMHO, but her two scenes in the first half-hour almost made up for the glacially slow 2++ hours that followed after her passing. Along with Piper's delightful face and shape, the scenes had great costuming plus rope work that had the touch of someone who knew what he was doing. The only near casualty was our TV set, in that my girlfriend said she was concerned that I might start licking the screen. I told her that I was merely following Hugh Jackman's lead, in that he was doing the very same thing to Piper's knee [yikes!!!]. For the sake of my peers, I'll try to get around to adding some flesh to the rather...ummmm...errr...lean Database entry. |

Issue #3 has a lengthy scene with Paula getting her mouth stuffed and tape gagged by a couple of crooks. Issue #4 showed a scene in one of their previews, but the last I heard it hadn't been printed yet. If you haven't already, you might check out the Paula Peril MySpace page at the link below. There is a lot of interesting stuff in the picture albums, particularly the custom comic section. |
