Perhaps you could refresh my memory and tell me just when these many times were ???

Obviously this site has deteriorated to the point where the only posts allowed are from fanboys gushing over some lame scene from some blonde of the month or an even lamer scene on some soap that nobody watches.

Maybe it is time to put this place out of its misery !!!!!!!!

Mr. Moderator. If this site is so lame, I think we should help Mr. Jacot by ensuring he doesn't have to see it anymore. I'm sure a lot of people will agree with me ;)

The only reason Dianna Rigg is considered so great is that most people have not seen the Honor Blackman scenes.

The Diana Rigg episodes were the ones first broadcast in the USA. The eariler Honor Blackman episodes were not broadcast in the USA until decades later and then only on cable.

Everything that Dianna Rigg did, Honor Blackman did first and better.

If the Honor Blackman episodes had been broadcast on USA network TV first, Dianna Rigg would be know as that skinny thing who tried to follow Honor Blackman !!!!!!!!!!

Regarding bondage in 'The Avengers' imho the ultimate scenes from the entire run belong to the much maligned Linda Thorson in the episode, 'Look Stop Me..' - tied to a chair in the lotus position with a tight white OTM, feverish mmmmppphhhing and wide-eyed terror - THE scene par excellence!

Very true, Linda Thorson was a very worthy sucessor to Honor Blackman !!!!!!!!!!!!

Much better than the undeservedly praised Diana Rigg.

It is a puzzle why she never got the credit she truly deserved.

Gary ,

These might help:

Jenny McCarthy-Ball gagged on "Remote Control (MTV Game Show)"

Jennifer Connelly-Handgagged in Rocketeer

Lindsay Lohan-Cleave Gagged in "I know who killed me"

Hayden Panatieere-Handgagged in "Bring it on" and multiple times in "Heroes"

Gretchen Mol-Ball gagged in "The Nototious Betty Page"

Lena Headley-Cleave gagged in "Grimm Brothers"

General Hospital
A weather report interrupted the first 2 minutes of "General Hospital" on WABC (New York City area). It resumed just in time to show the villain say to Sonny "You're just in time to see your wife's blood splatter the moon" (or something like that). Then it showed "Claudia" (Sarah Brown) bound and gagged. Was there any bondage footage before that?

Also, no gag in the episode "Kaitlin's Front Page", which is 1.17 of VR Troopers. Picked it up quick last night, and I can confirm this now.

She remained bound while Sonny diffused the bomb. Then he freed her.

It would have been a more dramatic scene (and better for us) if she had remained gagged while he diffused the bomb, similar to such scenes as Gayle Hunnicut in TARGET and Teri Hatcher in LOIS & CLARK: "Sex, Lies and Videotape".

Well, actually more along the lines of I like beautiful, stylish women in bondage. I have nothing bad to say about Honor Blackman or Linda Thorson; Ms. Rigg just happened to do it for me. That, among other things, is what makes the world go 'round. And imho, if they had started showing Honor's episodes first, there would not have been sufficient interest from viewers to continue on to the other women. Not because of Honor, but because a lot of those episodes were pretty dull. As I said, just my opinion. Oh, almost forgot... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Understand completely.

Another thing that is usually overlooked is that the Blackman episodes were all shot in black and white while most of the Dianna Rigg episodes were done in color with overall higher production values, which just made them look better.

As for the early Avengers being dull, they were no worse than most of the TV shows then, and the very first Rigg episodes were pretty much the same writing level wise.

Also interesting is that Rigg had probably her best actual bondage scene in one of her first episodes, no idea what the title was but it was about an atomic bomb being built in a dept store,I think, anyway she was actually in a classic hands tied behind her back, ankles tied and cleave gagged situation when Steed unrolled her from a carpet.

So now the question is what would have happened if Blackman hadn't left to make Goldfinger ???

Well the episode "The Gravediggers" in which Diana Rigg is gagged and tied to the tracks at the end of the episode, was supposed to be a Blackman episode, but the budget at the time couldn't afford it...
One for the alternative universe then...

Another reason that perhaps the Blackman episodes tend to get overlooked is that quite a few are missing from the archives, The episodes that do survive do have some great scenes that's true though for me Diana Rigg will always be the best simply because she was my first (My very first episode of The Avengers was Epic withe the classic sawmill escape scene) and because Rigg went onto become one of our finest Actresses - She;s Dame Diana Rigg for a reason you know.

As for Linda Thorson, her scenes had great rope work and she knew how to struggle, but let's face it some of the outfits she wore were hideous, for me that can mar an otherwise great scene

All of course just my personal opinion and your mileage may vary. Whoever your favourite Avengers girl was there's no denying the significance of the series in our lives, I don't think there are many people in our community who haven't been able to appreciate at least one of the stars of the show over the years.

Weird posters
Is it my imagination or have there been more unusual messages posted here of late? (And no, I don't mean some post from one of the regulars which results in near-endless ribbing/mocking).

I'm talking about the spam, and the "Hello" type stuff I've been seeing more of lately.

Kind of weird, since whomever is doing it has to do each message one-at-a-time, unlike email which can be multi-sent (is that a word?)

It seem to have started as a trickle a year or so ago, and now is a steady stream.

Moderator, have you changed your filters or something?

The Young and the Restless
I put Soapnet on to see when General Hospital would be rerun and I just saw 3 women bound on The Young and the Restless: Jeanne Cooper (whom somebody mentioned days ago), Marcia Wallace, and Talia Shire. Their hands are tied behind their backs. They are not gagged.

Talia Shire is not on Y&R. Probably referring to the character Esther played by Kate Linder.

"The Charmers" (3.23) shot in black-and-white was re-shot with Diana Rigg as "The Correct Way to Kill" (5.9) -- including the guest star B&g scene.

Too bad there weren't two "The Gravediggers" episodes...

That is why they picked her for Masterpiece Theater.
In person she is very nice and sensuality just

Chuck
Two separate scenes, once early where Sarah is seducing the beefcake in the hotel room. Hands bound by belt and in bra and panties. No gag since it is love bondage.

Later, beefcake, Sarah and Chuck are in a warehouse with hands over their heads. After commercial, Sarah's hands are in front and assume anchored to something. During the hole ordeal, her hands are never shown. Wearing a tank this time and yet no gag again.

No times since I didn't care at the time of watching it.

There have been more spam messages lately. I've been
very busy recently and can't check as frequently as I
would like, so they sometimes linger.

Because this site does not require registration, a policy I am determined to maintain, it's relatively easy for
spammers to type in messages. When I delete them, I
study the messages and figure out what I can do to
improve the filtering.
