I believe a cotnributor to this forum coined the term "gag continuity" to describe this gaffe in the production of a movie or television program. This problem is pervasive throughout the cinema and television industry; in one scene, an actress is gagged with a cloth tied between her teeth; in another scene, her gag is a cloth tied tightly over her mouth; in yet another scene, it is a thicker cloth tied between her teeth. |

| Being a fan of handcuff scenes, I'm always annoyed by handcuff cliches and continuity errors. First of all, handcuffs DON'T make the racheting sound when they are opened/unlocked, yet it's amusing to see how often that sound effects people will add this in to the audio of a scene. Secondly, as someone else already noted, it's amusing to see how often when irregular handcuffs are used where there are more than the normal amount of links between the cuffs. If you see this in a scene, you can bet that before the scene is over, the rear-cuffed person will end up doing the trick of pulling the cuffs under the legs to get the wrists positioned in front. (Although I can't recall which movie it was, I think I remember one scene where the cuffs actually switched from regulation cuffs to the ones with extra links...and back!) Lastly, cuffs have a top and bottom. Okay, not really, but they have one side with the two bars (receiving) and the other one-barred side that swings into place. Once applied, they can't flip on one's wrists, yet cuffs magically flip all the time. Okay, in a short scene, maybe this isn't high in importance to the prop master applying the cuffs. But in a movie like "P2," where so much of the movie takes place with a featured person in cuffs, you'd think they'd care about this a bit more. In fact, the cuffs are constantly flipping over on Rachel Nichols. |

The whole thing was pretty unfortunate. When the lamps catch the two people, they cut to a still slide for a few seconds. For longer than they had planned, I think. My theory is that during the cutaway, the actress was trying to put on her own gag, and for some reason, didn't have time to finish tying it. So she ended up holding it in place. She starts out holding it OTM, and by the time the scene is over, it has become a cleave. Would have been nice if better executed (except, of course, for the putz.) |

The scene is a blinkie at the 49:00 minute mark, shown in strobe-light effect, of Sally tied & tape gagged in a van with a kid. A very "for completeists only" scene. |

I love this movie. There are a few split-second clips as the SWAT and police pull masks off of the hostages at the end. You really have to look hard, and not blink to see them. Great Movie, Though!!!!!!!!!! |

| Only caught the last fifteen minutes, but there wasn't much to see as the only good shot was quickie when Caruso pulled a cleave gag from damsels mouth. Most of shots were of her back as she lay on the floor bound near a bomb set to explode. If there was nothing in the first half hour I would suspect thats it for the episode. |

| Tonights Raw had Kane stalk and confine cute blonde Kelly in a room (no bondage, but nice expressions as shes manhandled) He left her there to find the guy she likes. At the end, she tells Candice Michelle and Mickie James she told Kane the wrong guy. Kelly leaves in a rush, the other 2 say they better follow. Could turn into pleasant surprise or nothing.
