Actually, we might get the spoilers for next week's show earlier. They're taping next Friday's show this weekend. Sunday in Columbus, OH if I'm not mistaken.

I assume that spoilers could pop out as early as late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

What is the best scene in sword and sandal flicks?
Conan was once asked, "What is the best thing in life?" and of course he answered, "To drive your enemies before you, and hear der lamentations of der vimmen!"

Now I ask, "What is the best scene in any sword and sandal flick?"

I would include as a sword and sandal flick any peplum or other flick set in ancient times in which people wore sandals and carried swords a lot, including historical epochs. I would also include films like "Conan" and "Barbarian Queen." And I would include Arabian Nights flicks like "Son of Sinbad" since people carried swords and wore sandals in those, too.

What is the best scene among these? Is it the scene in "Deathstalker" where Barbi Benton is chained to a rock by her wrists at a party (it's more of an orgy) while a muscular barbarian tries to rip the filmy negligee from her nubile body, involving much struggling and writhing on her part? Or might it be the slavegirl suspended by her wrists in "The Adventures of Ali Baba"? Or is it the scene in "Jupiter's Darling" where Esther Williams is bound and gagged?

Thinking about it, gag scenes are kinda rare in sword and sandal flicks. Can anyone think of a really good one?

Other than the one below, of course. I already know about that one.

...Virginia Bryant in "The Barbarians" (1987) sports a gag similar -- but better, IMHO -- than the one in your picture, Pat. Looked like something purchased in a 21st century sex boutique, though the flick was set in a time just a l-i-i-i-i-tle bit earlier than that...like 3 millenia, or so. Still, a very sweet scene.

Guys, if you actually watched the show instead of reading spoilers you would know that there is zero, zilch & nada chance a woman will get it on Smackdown. So far, the only people getting bubble wrapped & tape gagged are the opponents (male wrestlers) of Festus. Instead of going for the pin, his partner Jessie duct tapes his upper torso then the show goes to commercial. When they return the MALE wrestler is bubble wrapped & being wheeled off.

Like I said, Smackdown has no chance of producing a scene.

Lana Clarkson forever? I'll drink to that! She was great in Deathstalker, too. I never miss an opportunity to call that pathetic little jerk Phil Spector a murderer.

And her nude rack scene in Barbarian Queen was majorly hot.

I think I know the gag scene you speak of ... Bryant is wearing a gag that appears to have been riveted along its outer edges, and it's made of a light brown leatherlike material. It fits better on Bryant's face than the one from Taur the Mighty Hunger, which looks kinda off-center (surely they could have put a peg or some wadding on the inside of the gag so they actress could keep it in place) but it's not nearly as original in appearance as the Taur gag. Very striking, however.
