Guess one would have to watch the episode to understand. Doesn't a tape gag accomplish both those things by default anyway? |
Wednesday September 24 09:39:32 2008 Tying up their rival |
Just posted a classic scene from the Muppet Show on the video page. Its the one where Miss Piggy ties up her rival, Lynn Redgrave so she can take the role of Maid Marion. There was also a scene like this on I LOVE LUCY in the episode called THE DIET. Also there was the All About Eva episode of Gilligan's Island where ugly duckling Eva ties up her look-a-like Ginger so she can take her place in Hollywood. Can anyone else remember a show or movie where one lady ties up her rival so she can take her place. |

Lara has had pretty long gaps with her B&G scenes - 1987/1994/2008 |

Wasn't to keep her quiet, but to torture her with smells the guys were using to get her to talk. (Well that was stupid thing to do, how is she to give answers when she is gagged). |

> "Marian" > in the Philippine Islander show "Dysabel" Mr Powers should let you know that after her rival ties the mermaid up on a bed, she manacles her in a pool. The manacles fit her wrists. Do you realise after all this time reading your Loosie Rants, first thing I noticed about the pool scene. Scary huh? ;) |

Wednesday September 24 18:16:03 2008 Out of the Blue - a question for our Australian cousins |
Here in the UK the BBC are currently showing an Australian drama Called Out of the Blue. Looking at the Radio Times listings for next weeks epsiodes it appears there is a girl called Tracey who may or may not have been kidnapped by a man called Daniel. I'm wondering if this rings any bells with our Antipodean friends? Is it a kidnap? Is she restrained? Is it worth checking out? |

Scary > huh? ;) Yeah, I'm always kinda surprised when manacles fit wrists, or when a woman's arms are tied behind instead of in front or a cleave gag has packing. I think: who got competent all of a sudden? |

Somewhere between the 25' and 50' mark, gal has two flashback scenes with her hands ducttaped behind her has her head is shoved into the bathtub. Keep in mind, us east coaster had a 15' delay due to pres. speech. Time is a big window. CBS at 10pm. |

Thanks Marian Rivera, and the show's name is "Dyesebel". By the way, what scene are you talking about? I don't think I've seen that one. |
