Worse than nothing. Jen's dressed kinda frumpy the entire flick, she smokes a lot(Yeech), and the film itself is slow, predictable, and depressing.

Other than that, I highly recommend seeing it.

GSG-9
I loved watching this clip on Raffish, titled 'Feuertaufe' The girls did a great job showing their fear, whilst delicously bound and gagged,in their kidnappers clutches. One of the best scenes I've ever seen.

Memories of Midnight?
Someone mentioned Jane Symore in memories of midnight. (excelent scen bythe way) but it leads me to this question.
A woman bound gagged and wearing what she is wearing (short skirt, hose etc) Would it be better for you with or without shoes, with feet bound?

It's a poor idea to try to reply to troll stuff with on-topic follow-up. You should know by now that The Mod will delete the whole thing.

Not officially, but the producer was sure that it would
not be renewed due to poor ratings.

I was unaware it was a troll & I apologize. I just thought someone in here was joking around. With all due respect, perhaps the Mod needs to lighten up a bit on first time offenders...

Anyways...

"Sanctuary" looks pretty interesting from what I can find about it online. Hopefully we can get something out of that...

This show, "Middleman", though. Never heard of it. Is it being played here in the United States or is this a foreign show?

"Sanctuary":
As a longtime Amanda Tapping fan, I've been following the approach of "Sanctuary" with keen interest. Unfortunately, the SciFi channel has one of those "publicity" departments that not only *DON'T* get the internet, but are still trapped in the control-freak/defensive mode of ages past. They seem desperately afraid that someone might see some good images or read a twenty word blurb on one of their new shows or made-for-Sci-Fi "movies" and might actually get interested in watching the damn thing. They routinely start airing promos and previews *before* they put anything on their website. When they finally decide to post something, it's almost always a splash-page, and nothing else. So... will "Sanctuary" be any good? Who can tell? SciFi has a *VERY* spotty record. Some of their shows are outstanding ("Battlestar Galactica"), and some are absolute drek. Most are in between.

"Middleman":

Thanx, Van. I also agree with you with the whole SciFi channel thing. They hit paydirt once in a while but for the most part I usually end up looking for the two hours I'll never get back after watching one of their horrible made-for-tv movies...

Middleman, a first run show in it's first season, plays in the US on ABC Family Channel 311 on Direct TV, it doesn't seem to play on a consistent basis and I don't know why. Therefore, I don't know it's day and time.

Psych scene last night
There was a brief scene in last night's half-season finale of Psych on the USA Network. About 42 minutes into the episode, the good guys rescue a kidnapped woman (Jhene Erwin) they find tied to a chair, blindfolded and cleave-gagged. The episode was called "Gus Walks Into a Bank" and will be re-run a couple more times during the weekend, including tonight at 10:00 p.m. Central time and tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. Central time.

Recommendation/warning on Men's Adventures Magazines Book
I recently bought my wife a book on "Men's Adventure Magazines in Postwar America, published by Taschen. It has brought us much pleasure, mostly because of the incrediby lurid headlines: "Scarlet Lust of the Moon Goddess," "The Nude Gun Runners of Algiers" "I Bought A Slave Girl" and "The Prostitute Who Saved Puerto Rico."

The artwork is equally lurid (see below) and there are 117 covers featuring female bondage in the covers reproduced in the book (it consists mostly of reproductions of magazine covers).

But gag fans will be disappointed to learn that I found only four images of gagged women among the 117. Not good. On the other hand, there are only two covers depicting women tied hands in front out of the 117. Most of the time, when the women's hands are tied, they are tied behind, as they should be. Otherwise, their hands are tied TO things: wagon wheels, ship's rigging, posts, etc. (There are several images of pictures of women tied hands in front, but with a pole placed between their backs and their elbows, which I didn't count since they're stringent bondage, not sloppy bondage).

This invariably makes for very dramatic images.

My question is, how did this come about? The numbers are way too consistent to be accidents. I personally can't come up with any sort of theory that makes sense, though I have plenty that don't.

He's talking about that often shown German scene where the swim team is taken hostage. The clip has floated around many, many times...I would be surprised if any regular here hasn't seen it.

I don't think it's all that great. The actresses in the scene do very little acting, for one thing...it's a little boring for me. It's not anything I would pay to see.

Late HeadsUp: Hannah Spearritt HandGagged
Hannah Spearritt's character [Abby] tastes the handgag in tonight's new episode of "Primeval" on BBC-America, the one dealing with a mysterious new super predator. Just past 20 minutes in, Abby is pondering the ways of the world in an underground tunnel in the zoo where she works. One of the heroes of the piece appears, and realizing that the predator is nearby, he tightly handgags Abby...errr...for her own good. She's muffled for about 30 seconds.

The episode repeats on the West Coast at 9:00 pm and 12:00 midnight, plus Sunday at 4:00 pm. CYLL if you're elsewhere in the U.S.

I don't do "lighten up" especially when just the other day
I told people to quit replying to trolls because it makes
more work for me.

Well, no. It ran every Monday night at 9pm Central. The
season ended a couple weeks ago. The show is a good one:

It's based on a comic book series of the same name.

It's one of my favorites simply because it has everything I like, including the shoes. If a damsel's high heels come off, the scene's over for me. It was even very convenient to record only the good parts in the old VCR days because it showed the cliched closeup of the boiler's pressure guage before every clip of Jane, giving you plenty of warning. But back to the shoes, I realize I'm in the minority on that. The barefoot crowd seems to be growing by the day.

Abby: "M'mmmpfh?"
Connor: "Shh, the monster's near... ...okay, it's been twenty minutes, but it *might* be near. Gee... your hair smells terrific"
