Thursday July 31 00:29:56 2008 Site Update |
I've reviewed another women in prison movie, "Caged Fury," and it is full of nakedness and violence as Dirk the Human Wrecking Ball personally demolishes an evil prison facility. I'm not kidding, this guy is so tough that he and his buddy Victor go around terrorizing motorcycle gangs. Again, I am not kidding. Dirk makes Rambo look wussy. And then there's the evil lesbian warden Sybil Thorn seen below. Few prisons let their officials work in Gay Pride uniforms, but Honeywell does. And of course she treats the inmates as her own private harem. The plot is driven by an evil scheme that so ridiculously piles bogusness on top of bogusness that you feel a sort of admiration for anyone who has come up with a plan this complex to obtain something that you can easily buy in L.A. for chump change (by the standards of the wealthy). Plus, there's the ugliest pants ever. |

I appreciate your calling me an expert, but my feeling is that if I am an expert, this board is crawling with experts, since it has many posters who have been collecting a lot longer than I have. You may well have a point. After looking more closely at the pic, you don't see the knots securing the ropes in place anywhere but the chest, which in this damsel's case is a pretty darned distracting place. The ropes going over her shoulders to the back of the chair from the breast knot look a little loose, but I think that's an artifact caused by their running across the surface of the damsel's large, round breasts. The same thing is clearly happening to the rope that runs from the breast knot to the damsel's left hand -- it's bending as it runs along the curvature of her breast, then straightening out after it gets past the breast. If course, if the ropes were REALLY tight then I imagine it would be the damsel's breasts that do the bulging, but we don't really know how firm her implants are, do we? :> There's also ropework running alongside her neck that looks like it secures her to the chair very nicely. The knees are really tight, several loops around them and at least one loop of frapping. The place that's problematical is the wrists. No frapping and the knot's not anywhere near the coils. It looks like she could possibly escape by wriggling her forearms from side to side to loosen the loops and then sliding her wrists out. Then again, the loops are very neatly done and look nice and tight. If the rope securing the loops in place is at all tight, getting loose might be a problem. Since we can't see how the rope ends, we don't know. But even if the rope is tightly secured, that much rope creates great possibility for slack. I think the thing is, the ropework is there for comedic effect: one moment people think the maid is a potential suspect, the next moment she's tied to the chair with massive ropework. It's a lot like the "I'm a whore!" scene from Scrubs that aired recently -- the humor is in the swift transition from people talking in a room to a French maid thoroughly tied up. It didn't matter comedically if the ropework was done well or sloppily, so long as there was a lot of it. But I think all that very neat wrapping implies that SOMEBODY knew what they were doing. But those wrist bonds probably pull the image out of the area of super-tight bondage. |

Accurate analysis. I guess I should have referred to you as "collector of advanced ability" or something to that effect. The bottom line is, it's an attractive effective DID image. And it was a surprise, which is a plus. You can't go wrong with French Maid in a "I'm a whore" bondage situation! And it's good, if not extremely tight, ropework. |

What about when both of her arms are held on each side by two men. Regardless of how she is bound that is my favorite and very hard to find. With one guy it happens a lot. But a girl being held in place on both sides... Those scenes are usually so quick. There has got to be some experts here who can fill me in!! |

I believe Earth Girls Are Easy has such a scene, and The Borrower has a scene where a policewoman is stripped naked and left tied up, though I am not certain if it was for the purpose of borrowing her clothes. I can't think what else it would be, though, as the woman's captor is an alien that is not interested in her sexually. |

Really sorry for you JP. My mom is currently in her last days; not expected to live more than a week. She's lived a little over ten times as long as your little girl and her passing won't be that sort of tragedy. But it doesn't make it much easier to see her go. All I can say is for everyone to spend all the time you can with those you love, because no matter how much time it is, when they're gone it won't have been enough. All the other stuff in life is just filler. |

I always liked the Susan St. James scene in "MacMillan and Wife." She seemed totally surprised as it came from behind. And the continuation of the scene of her in the chair, then dialing the phone with the pencil in her mouth and trying to talk to the operator was great. |

JP, it has been said that it rains on both the just and the unjust. Many people have tried to explain why. I will not. Even the wisest answer will not make everything OK. May you find comfort and unexpected blessings in the difficult days ahead. The gift from all this is in the outpouring of loving support that has been seen here. Your tragedy has turned our attention from the relatively insignificant pursuits that bring us here in the first place so that we may reveal a bit of our best selves, reaching out to you with genuine concern. Because you opened your heart to us, we have had a chance to respond as a caring community. The world needs more of that. Hugs from a fellow musician... [Thanks to Brian for allowing this thread.] |
