I mean, I know it's her but if I had not seen the alert, I would not have known who the actress was. Even knowing now who it is, it just does NOT look like Andrea Roth...they must have done a hell of a makeup job on her (almost a la' Charlize Theron in MONSTER!). That gag, combined with the pinched lips & tightly closed mouth thing she's got going are definitely NOT a good look on a very attractive actress. |

Now, does ANYONE have a bit more info on this....like when in the movie the scene occurs? Even "first half", "second half", etc. would be helpful. I'm limited on DVD disc space. thanks. |

I have seen a trailer that seems to show 2 different scenes - one of a woman cleave gagged as she lies in a guillotine and one of a woman in a blue nightgown and her hair wrapped up in a towel and either tape or OTM gagged. |

Friday June 06 10:28:20 2008 Haylie Duff in Backwoods |
In today's NY paper, there is a review of movie (showing this Sunday, 9 pm est on the Spike network). Besides giving it a very bad review, here is one of the paragraphs in the review: "The bad guy's intentions are clear enough - kill the men and rape the women. This gives Haylie Duff a chance to demonstrate her skills at struggling to move her arms when they are tied down and struggling to talk when her mouth is covered with duck tape." |

Here's a trailer that shows some brief shots of her and another woman gagged. I think this movie has been discussed before because that trailer looks familiar. |

Humourous scene majorjohns.com good enough to run this one up. You can review it and better decide if want the description reworded? |

But what the cop (Elena Uhlig?) story? With that "Unforgetable" song playing scenes, I got the impression she fancied Sandra's boyfriend for a long time. That her stepping on his sand sculptures to get his attention? Because of language, I got impression, but not sure, that Elena was investigating in a roundabout way to be with him and built her character up that she would. I'll add that to entry, if accurate? Thanks |

Too bad it didn't have the sisters sharing a B&G scene |

I just downloaded a free trial of speech recognition software for 10 common languages and playing with it - if it works, should be able to eventually subtitle all of these foreign language clips. |

Friday June 06 12:28:44 2008 Break out those shackles! |
From a web movie gossip site (see link): "Networks are getting their first glimpse at "Women in Chains!" a self-explanatory female prison pilot to be directed by Robert Rodriguez and star Rose McGowan. The "Charmed" star would play one of five shackled women who make up the center of the violent drama, which owes no small debt to the women-in-prison exploitation classics of the 70s. The news of the circulating "Women in Chains!" pilot comes as HBO is also moving forward on "Bad Girls," an adaptation of the British female prison drama. Last fall Fox was also said to be moving forward on a "Prison Break" spin-off set in a women's prison." Well, what are they waiting for? |

Hey folks, There is definitely, I repeat definitely something on TV tonight, Friday, June 6th that will interest everyone. It's a really bad movie called: Backwoods. It's on Spike TV starting at 9PM. How do I know this is a hit? Read the review in today's New York Daily news: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv/2008/06/06/2008-06-06_backwoods_a_repellent_gore_fest.html |
