| There was a great one on Nickelodeon maybe?? that had a gal thoroughly tied from head to foot w/ blue rope and cleave gagged. She hops in from the right side over to a bed where she is then untied by her cohorts. It had something to do with a game they were all playing. Can't recall the title, actress, can't find in database or my DID library at the moment. Anyone recall this? |

She wriggles down under the rope at her waist falling to the floor, then pulling herself up she hops across the bedroom, and out into the hall, making her way down the stairs. At the same time a young boy calls at the front door selling cookies, Mitchell loses her footing at the base of the stars and starts calling out through her gag, but is of course unable to make herself heard. Struggling to her feet again she hops across to the front door and tries to open it with her bound hands (there’s a nice close up of the rope around her wrists here), but it is securely locked. She then hears the cookie seller moving onto the next house. The phone rings and Mitchell hops towards the sound, entering the kitchen through a swing door she sees the telephone mounted on one wall and knocks the receiver from it’s cradle before rubbing her gag free on the side of the phone, Getting to her knees she tries calling for help but the caller has rung out. Hoisting herself up again Mitchell dials the operator with her tongue and starts shouting for help. Before she can make herself heard however her captor snatches the phone away (This sequence alone runs 4-5minutes uninterrupted.) Here’s another little gem Record number: 6579 Title: Lava (2002) Medium: Movie Actress: Nicola Stapleton Description: The action kicks in about 40m into this black comedy. Stapleton plays the girlfriend of a Notting Hill gangster who finds her home invaded by two men looking for revenge on her partner. Knocked unconscious she comes to laid on the bed, her hands are tied behind her back with strips of bed sheet, more of which has been used to tie her legs at knee and ankle. At this point she is more annoyed than scared and moans “I don’t have time for this”. When her mobile rings she wriggles round on the bed and uses her nose to answer it. Eventually her captors get tired of her complaints and tear up another bed sheet to gag her with. From this point on Stapleton is scared, sitting up on the bed and sobbing. A visitor calls at the flat and the gag is briefly removed so she can identify him, after that she is handgagged. Wriggling free she hops out into the hall but the visitor is a man she helped set up earlier in the film and when he recognises her she quickly starts hopping back towards the bedroom screaming as she tries to duck bullets Also I’m going to throw this third one out there, I’ve no idea of the film or the actress but it was a straight-to-video thriller from the early 90s. The hero & heroine were captured and taken on board the villian’s boat. Taking them below decks he orders his henchman to tie them up, He starts by tying the girl – hands behind back, then ankles – and is about to do the same to the man when he fights back. The girl ends up being left in the cabin tied up and struggling, then a fire breaks out on the boat and she rather desperately starts hopping up the steps onto the deck to throw herself overboard. Best I can recall the girl was a brunette dressed in a red sweater with either jeans or black trousers |

Both "Hodet over vannet" (the 1993 Swedish/Norwegian original) and "Head Above Water" (the 1996 U.S. remake with Diaz) contain some hopping. I'll probably include the "Hodet" version in my update, both since the hopping is a bit more extensive and since fewer folks have presumably had a chance to see it. (The update may be a bit late, BTW, since I'm also trying to finish off a bunch of new clips and a big subscriber update, but it'll be up by tomorrow.) |
