| I was wondering about great scenes where the damsel has to squirm around or roll on the floor instead of hop. (I would never tie a damsel without CROSSING her feet so she couldn't hop in the first place.) I love scenes where women have to really exert themselves to crawl across the floor, to get to a phone, scissors to cut the ropes, handcuff key, etc., and go through frustrating setbacks in their attempts. Any classics? |

Made masks, and I guess, blindfolds, seem a lot kinkier than they really are. |

| While I agree that most criminals who have gagged their damsels probably can't be accused of using unnecessary gags (there is after all always the possibility of somebody being around), I am interested in those situations where gags really can't serve a purpose. Demi Moore's turn in "The Scarlet Letter" comes to mind. You can rationalize it by saying it has to do with her being accused of being a witch (thus preventing her from making a spell) but this is never explicitly stated and as far as I know most witch trials did not involve gags! Nothing really different would have happened if she had the power of speech. It simply stands as a gratuitous gag scene (and is all the better for it). |

| I've posted a couple of Clips that are on youtube that promotes the movie 9 muses. A while back there was a scene in a hotel with a few girls tied up and gagged in rehersal (putz alert) but these new video's are unbelievable. check it out. |

Any classics? Mel Harris had a great scene in the movie Distant Cousins. Lots of squirming across a basement floor looking for something to cut her ropes. I also like the Home and Away scene with Tammin Sursok where she squirms across a kitchen floor to get to a radio she turns on to summon help. No images to post unfortunately. |
