They'll arrest them and hopefully handcuff them. Gags if they protest.

New UK Law
This does not make sense to me either.

I live in the UK and we currently have long running TV series like Wire in the Blood, Messiah and to a lesser extent Waking the Dead that regularly have storylines about sexual torture and violent murder.

Last night, there was a one off drama on BBC called Kiss of Death that involved a groom being killed and his body parts being left on a beach after dismembering. His bride was in turn kidnapped, chloroformed, tapegagged, wrapped in plastic and left to die (although she was saved).

This was shown just after the watershed but surely while this sort of show can be shown on Mainstream TV this new law is unworkable.

Clearly from next January the BBC will be showing only News (violence excluded) and reruns of the Teletubbies

No, it didn't. That's a very specific error message,
and without you telling me the message I can't let
you know what the problem is.

That's something you did differently.

Obviously, such content is illegal *only* if it is infected with internet cooties. :-)

Let's bring this to a close.

The Strangers
Just a bit of confirmation that the tieup scene in the poster isn't a cheap fake-out. An advance review of the movie over at AICN says "The masked people capture and tie up our couple."

Women In Chains!
AICN is also reporting today that Robert Rodriguez may be producing a women-in-prison exploitation TV series called Women In Chains! (the exclamation point is part of the title), starring his galpal Rose Macgowan.

More details at the Homepage link.

Man, I would love to see that. I think we all would, if it's done properly. It's still in development, though.

The problem with women in prison flicks from what I've seen is that the women are rarely in chains. Maybe in transport scenes, but other than that, actual bondage is pretty rare. Rodriguez definitely has the balls to fix that and Rose McGowan would be so PERFECT for the series, but man, I'm gonna take a "wait and see" on this one.

Site update
Bondagerotica is updated with an article examining the possibility that British actress Helen Mirren appeared in a roughie Western called "Hot Spur" back in 1969 based on scientific ... well, semi-scientific ... photographic evidence (see image below).

Rambo DVD
Picked it up today and alas, no new scenes that show the lovely Julie Benz sporting the gag she spoke about in an interview.

However, I did find evidence that the scene existed. At the 58 minute mark when she is being pulled away by a Myanmar soldier, you can hear her making sounds as if she were gagged. Cut to a later scene, no gag.

In her interview, she said something like she was gagged, and then some pigs broke out and nearly injured her. Do you think the scene was reshot, sans gag, in case the same thing happened again and she needed to cry out for help?

Did you get the 2 disc version. Supposed to be some deleted scenes and might be a slim chance of getting something there. I'm to get the 2 disc version sometime this week and when I do, I'll check the deleted scenes.

Maybe better luck on Blu-ray. Hostel 2 add some additional stuff and this may be the same for Rambo.

Unfortunately the fine print on that site states it's only for viewers in the UK and Ireland. Being from elsewhere I can't view it -- I have seen his other shows on the SciFi network here and have enjoyed them. Hopefully, someone will upload on bit torrent and let the rest of us know...
