The women in TNA play a bigger part in > wrestling then the WWE women do. And the thing is that it seems now that WWE will target a younger audience, which will probably mean that they'll go with less adult-orientated storylines (such as Diva kidnappings). Being a lifelong wrestling fan, this won't keep my from watching it every week, but I feel like they're letting down what has shown to be their core audience (18-34), who grew up mostly with the Attitude era who was about edgy angles and we've seen our share of good angles ('member Stephanie McMahon strapped to The Undertaker's symbol, anyone?) I hope I'm wrong because TNA Divas are less attractive than WWE's. Sure, 95% of them can work a match ten times better than most of the WWE Diva roster but for eye candy, it's not the same. And plus, I would've thought that Beth Phoenix's character would've been perfect for a kidnapping scenario, since she seems to be a glamourous evolution of Mickie James' psycho character. |

Based on web research... Heather was *very* pregnant at the time. That's why we don't get to see her do the DiD thing. Next time you get a chance to watch the episode, notice how they blocked all her shots. :-) I *really* *liked* Heather... more than I liked Deanna Lund. I have a long history of prefering the "non-glamorous" sidekick/secondary character. Nancy Drew (Pamela Sue martin) or George (Jean Rasey)? ---GEORGE!! Ginger (Yina Louise) or Mary Ann (Dawn Wells)? ---MARY ANN!! ...& don't get me started about WILLOW ROSENBERG!! |

Wednesday April 09 10:11:28 2008 Re: 'Kane and Lynch' Video Game |
> In a shift in the gameplay dynamic, Kane has to protect > Lynch who carries the taped and gagged owner on his > shoulders." The ASA has ordered the game's publisher, Eidos Interactive, not to print or broadcast any of the ads again after upholding 26 complaints and ruling that the poster was "graphic and too shocking to be seen in an untargeted medium". Eidos's press ad promoting the game - about two violent mercenaries - showed a woman with a gagged and tear-stained face having her head held back by one of the men, who stood behind her pulling her hair and wearing surgical gloves. A second man, who held a rifle with his finger on the trigger, stood behind him. |

I finally finished my article on Pony Soldier and related matters. It's called "Pony Soldier, Funny Games and Pimpin' Da Bondage" and deals with the topic of whether or not actresses nowadays pimp da bondage, and whether or not they did so back in the 50s. It's full of caps from Pony Soldier, but also has caps from Funny Games, Black Mask, Cat People, Hostel 2, Barbarian Queen, Bonanza, Amazon, Fast Sofa, Le Serpent, Romance, Lifespan and a couple of others. Caption for image below: "Hi, I'm Penny Edwards, and I'm awfully tired of wearing this darned bitgag!" |

Don't know. I don't think Lothar was in the original ... she was only gagged after the bad guys caught her trying to get away. |

Wednesday April 09 16:13:39 2008 Hagen |
Samantha Eggar in the pilot of the one year series Hagen 1n 1980 receive a tighter cleave gag then in The Collector. That is how I remember it. Chad Everett applied the gag when the police were knocking on her door. He played a backwoods type who teamed with Arthur Hill who was an urbane lawyer. It was an excllent scene and I have not seen a mention of it let alone a clip. |

David Spade?? Anyway, she's come to America but her first film will be with Chris Kattan and Spade so a move back to OZ will be pretty soon. |

I've really gotten interested in Cherry since they made her into a shy, goodgirl type and started to downplay the '50's stuff. Shy, pretty girls have always really pushed my button. Over on TNA, my main interest is Gail Kim because she DOESN'T look like almost every other hottie on a wrestling show. Most of the other women are just one big attractive but generic blur to me. |

This was indeed an excellent scene, and I'm looking for it since ... 1980. Never came across this scene anywhere. As far as my memory goes back for about 28 years ago, this pilot was shown on German television (ZDF channel) at about midnight. I slightly remember, he was taking her own silk scarf in order to cleave gag her and it was applied very tight. Unfortunately, I have never been able to view this scene again. Samantha Eggar in her 40's those days but still good looking in a dynamic scene. Could be an oscar nomination of best DID of 1980 if some day this scene should show up somewhere. |

From what i remember it was a powerfully strong cleave, all the more exciting for the fact that it was the 'good guy' applying it. Fantastic scene, I'd love to see it again. |

Here's links to wallpaper-size files of the images in question. The first one is the gagged captive being held by the hair (no other bonds visible), the second is the over-the-shoulder carry (no bonds visible at all). http://www.kaneandlynch.com/downloads/KL_wallpaper03_1280.jpg http://www.kaneandlynch.com/downloads/KL_wallpaper05_1280.jpg If you go to the main site (http://www.kaneandlynch.com) and poke around the galleries of "screenshots" and "concept art", you'll also find a couple shots of a rather butch-looking blonde tied and tape-gagged (at least I think it's supposed to be a woman). |
