Tuesday March 11 06:38:33 2008 Hallam Foe |
Given all the buzz that preceeded this film last year I thought it was about time the scene was added to the database Record number: 13303 Title: Hallam Foe (2007) Medium: Movie Actress: Claire Forlani Description: About 80minutes into this film Ms Forlani is attacked by the title charector. He forces a handkerchief into her mouth and pushes her backwards into the bedroom. In the next scene they are outside, Ms Forlani is tape gagged, her wrists taped together behind her back, being carried over the boy's shoulder in a firemans lift. Some good struggling and Mmpphing from the damsel but she is unable to prevent her abductor from carrying her into the lake outside her home and throwing her into the water. She sinks to the bottom but is rescued and carried to shore. The tape gag is then removed and the handkerchief eased out from between her teeth, before her wrsts are cut free. Scene lasts approx 2 minutes, Ms Forlani is wearing a bathrobe and nightdress If you haven't seen it yet do check it out, it's a cracking good film and a nice little scene, if a little on the short side. By the way has anyone read the book? Is the scene from the original story or screenwriter's embelishment? |

Tuesday March 11 09:09:17 2008 Interesting PETA ad from India |
One of Bollywood's sirens Yana Gupta (ex Czech model and now a real Indian Hottie) modeling for PETA opposing circus acts with bears. Incidentally, she is the queen of raunchy dance sequences in Bollywood movies which are known as "item numbers" - this info will be required when you view the link ! http://specials.rediff.com/movies/2008/mar/10sd2.htm |

But we do get a nice (if brief) pan of each woman's tape gagged face and a bit of mmphing. Tuesday March 11 16:14:11 2008 Dave Stevens R.I.P. |
The creator of The Rocketeer passed away from leukemia at the age of 53. He didn't produce a lot of work, but he gave us some very choice D-I-D comic scenes, and his success also served to jump-start the Bettie Page revival. His friend, and comic historian, Mark Evanier, has more on his blog here: http://www.newsfromme.com/archives/2008_03_11.html#014911 |

Kinda makes you wonder. I hate to burst your bubbles fellas but in regard to Martha and Naomi these women did not give any indication about being into bondage nor did the article focus on it. Martha was just being a friendly professional appreciative of fans and Naomi was describing the drama and challenged involved with the scenes. Even if they specifically stated they enjoyed being "damsels in distress" that does not imply they're into bondage which is a *completely* different matter. There was a discussion here a few weeks back about interviews with actresses discussing being bound/trapped; they stated (in so many words) they enjoyed the challenge of playing off the emotions involved. There were only one or two exceptions of actresses who *claimed* they enjoyed the bondage aspect as well (one of the chicks from the latest "Hostel" sequel if I remember correctly). Don't mean to act as a moderator here but I think we all would be better off not discussing what we believe is the real life desires of the actresses unless they specifically state it; could lead to negative attention for the site. Just my opinion. |

Raunchy dancing, really? In Bollywood? I lurves me some raunchy dancing, but the Bollywood movies I've seen here in the states, though chock full of dancing and singing, didn't have any dancing I'd call raunchy. Mostly it seems to consist of fully dressed women extending their arms to either side and sort of capering about with all sorts of fancy footwork and not much hip or butt action, by which I mean, not any. It's entirely possible I've missed out on the raunchy stuff, considering how little has gotten to the states, and frankly, I've taken a pass on Bollywood movies for the most part, after seeing the dancing I just described. Have we been missing out on the good stuff from Bollywood? |

Just my opinion. I probably should have been more specific, but I wasn't talking about Naomi Watts' real life desires, but about the fact that she appeared to be promoting the movie's bondage aspects to the audience. That's what I meant by "pimpin' da bondage." She talked about the fact that she was genuinely bound, that no concessions were made for her comfort, that the gag that appeared to be uncomfortable to wear WAS uncomfortable. To me, this indicates that she believes that audiences will be more interested in the film because of this authenticity. Else why would she have made such a point of it? I saw nothing in the interview that spoke to the issue of Watts' real-life feelings about sexual bondage. |

Tuesday March 11 19:45:07 2008 Big Trouble in Little China 2 |
I happened to find a script for an official sequel to Big Trouble in Little China. It was supposed to be a made-for-tv movie that never got off the ground. While scanning the script (I didn't read it word-for-word), I didn't find anything relating to bondage (though I could have easily missed something). It certainly had the makings to be a bondage bonanza. Virgins captured to be used as sacrifices...main heroine captured... Somebody with more patience than I might actually find something if they choose to read the entire script. |

Tuesday March 11 19:59:20 2008 What Might Have Been---Robocop 3 |
Things are kinda slow, so lets play a game (Mr. Mod permitting, of course). The game: "What Might Have Been" Meaning: WHAT MAINSTREAM MOVIE OR TV EPISODE COULD HAVE HAD A *CLASSIC* DID-SCENE WITH ONLY A *MINOR* SCRIPT CHANGE? The emphasis is on *minor*. Major rewrites don't count. I'll go first. Robocop 3 (1993)---imdb URL below. Jill Hennessy plays a corporate scientist. By the end of the movie, she's switched sides and joined the rebels. The badguys capture her and... lock her in a storeroom. ??? Moronic badguys!! No action or exposition requirement stands in the way of cable-tying Jill to a chair and slapping some tape on her mouth. There's a gloating scene, then the badguys leave. Later. the rebels hack into the security system, notice her on a camera feed, and she gets rescued. She didn't participate in her rescue in any way. So... WHY NOT TIE HER UP?? The writers got the DiD-thing, 'cause all the elements are there (capture, gloating, helplessness, etc.), and like I said, nothing in the plot REQUIRED her to NOT be B&G'd. Aaargh!! So... close!! Okay, who's next? Remember, it has to be a *minor* script change. |

When Bond gets on the plane, Goldfinger could've pulled back the curtain to reveal that he has Pussy Galore bound and gagged. Bond would've dispatched Goldfinger, and then they would've gotten out of the plane just the same. The idea that she would now cooperate with Goldfinger's plan to fly to Cuba(?) if my memory serves me was always more implausible--why wouldn't she just turn the plane around and land in DC? |

This just plain sucks. I met him at a convention several years ago, and he was one of the nicest guys you could have met - always appreciative of his fans and just a swell person overall. I hate it when people whose work I like die. I hate it worse when they're people I like. |

Tuesday March 11 22:21:47 2008 Dirt Late Alert |
replay on FX channel at 11pm tonight (about 40 minutes from now) Record number: 13300 Title: Dirt Medium: TV Series Actress: Elisabeth Harnois Description: Episode: "Dirty, Slutty Whores" Elisabeth Harnois plays a supporting character named Milan Carlton; her character is a very blatant parody of Paris Hilton. At the end of the episode, she is shown handcuffed by the no-nonsense constabulary in an Asian country with a draconian legal system. The handcuffs are then removed, and she is strapped to an X-shaped structure and subsequently lashed with a cane. |

A virus has been unleashed that causes men and women to die if they make love with one another, within hours. No cure. Zero population growth, men and women are divided into armed camps with a "shoot first, ask questions later" approach. Scientist invents a cure. Needs to test it, but no one wants to help because of the whole death thing. So scientist kidnaps a woman and a man and leaves them chained together at the wrist! with some porn tape running. Man promptly escapes. Woman tries to escape, but is caught. Scientist APOLOGIZES and releases woman. Hey, Einstein, how about this: tie the woman up in any of a number of interesting positions and make love to her YOURSELF after giving her and you the antidote. The future of the HUMAN RACE is at stake. Never happened, of course. But it was SO OBVIOUS that this was the way to go. |

I’ll go with an episode of The Fall Guy. Jody’s undercover, her cover is blown, and the bad guys rough her up a bit and drag her by the hair (to show us just how eeeee-villll they are), and eventually bring her to their hotel room, where they push her down into a chair and tell her to and stay put while they go do… something nefarious. She’s not having this, she defies them and stands up! They push her back down again. They leave and close the door behind them… and that’s it! She evidently does as she was told, and just sits there, unbound and ungagged, till rescue arrives. |
