"Funny Games" - Not So Much Fun
Well, the guys on "Ebert & Roeper" agree with me about this piece of tripe, anyhow. Roeper called it "garbage" (and predictable garbage, at that), while the guest critic basically concurred (though said guest -- Michael Phillips? -- added that he liked the original version). I'm all for good DiD scenes (otherwise I wouldn't be on this site), but the complete arrogance and irresponsibility of crap like "Funny Games" disqualifies it as entertainment in any way for me.

I hope it bombs worse than "Walk Hard" and "Doomsday." Leo the Unforgiving.

Arrgghh - Annoying Stuff!
X, Blixen, Guest, etc

Okay, I'm wading through "Love in the Aegean Sea" {btw: You guys are warriors for wading through these all the time like you do}

Step away- Favoured "Chae Rim"
IMDB says she's Korean. Forums got this tearjerker as Korean, Chinese & Taiwanese and a Chinese with dubbed Korean star (Chae Rim???). Arrgghhh

Not having much luck wading through the love of these prettyboys posts, but one good thing.. Learned the woman kidnapper is one of the prettyboy's mothers. So the gal torn between two lovers in an exotic locale plot suddenly gets interesting because Mom gets involved and doesn't like the gal

Letting know for the clip- as you'll see, she's hauled into a van, sat on a ship deck? has this woman slapping her and threatening her with a knife. But when prettyboy arrives and gets cut, the woman turns all doting nurselike..
Clip makes more sense if you know this

Get me country of origin for the search and can put this one in. Thanks

Saw The Cottage yesterday and have now added a description to the database.
It's an enjoyable enough scene with the caveat that it doesn't live up to the hype, but then again what scene could. When Jennifer Ellison was cast in The Cottage roughly a year ago almost the first thing we knew about the film was that she would be playing a bound and gagged kidnap victim, so the anticipation has been exceptionally high.
As a scene in it's own right it's okay but there's little footage of the actual ropes and it suffers from 'magic gag' syndrome ( a gag that can be pulled down and then reapplied over the mouth without any need for retightening.)but it's a very sexy girl in a gorgeous outfit - tight T-shirt, sweatpants, ugg boots - and there are scenes scattered thoughout the first 40minutes.

Also, no spoliers but keep 'em peelied during the second half of the movie for some very quick bondage imagary, Ellison isn't the only Damsel in Distress in this movie

I saw "Funny Games" this weekend. I thought the movie was excellent. I'm going to purchase "Funny Games" on DVD the first day it comes out. I hope it does well at the box office.

Music Videos
Earlier today I posted a link on the video page to a music video for the song Ransom by Ridinghood, if you've ever wanted to see a gorgeous girl sing with her hands tied above her head you must check this out.

On a similar note i found a very interesting music video on Youtube last week for the song Raquel by spanish(?) Singer Sergio Bitto but it appears to have been pulled, does anyone know the video i mean?
It shows the singer talking to an attractive woman in skirt and heels, then suddenly shes tied and tapegagged in the backseat of his car. He takes her to a motel and leaves her on the bed but she starts trying to get away, hoping around and somehow getting to the window, then he comes back and unties her.
It's all a bit wierd really and as I don;t speak spanish I have no idea how the video reflects the content of the song, so if anyone else has seen it and can offer a summery of what it all means i'd be most interested in hearing about it.

Re: Arrgghh - Annoying Stuff!
The correct title should be "Love of the Aegean Sea"; the damsel is Chae Rim.

It took a some searching, but I found a video of the H&A scene on Youtube. The probable reason you didn't hear anything about the scene is that is a "blink and you'll miss it" scene...Indiana's character gets handgagged, then she's next shown in close up, struggling to free her wrists. She is also cleave gagged with a dish cloth. She is shown for about 3 seconds and that's it...next time you see her she's free. I'll post a link on the video page.

I haven't seen the movie yet, and almost certainly won't, but one of the very very few things I liked about the first was the sight of the actress in the *shiny* one-piece slip struggling and hopping across the room. Sweat-and-blood soaked bra and panties don't sound as erotic, honestly.

Next week's preview shows a girl locked in a room with a chain around her foot. Appears to be the daughter of the Agelica Houston's character.
