Yes, it would've been more expedient to bind Ms. Monaco's ankles with duct tape since the villain was already holding a roll in his hand. He bound her wrists with it and gagged her with it, so why didn't he bind her ankles with it? It is a bit illogical that he bound her ankles with rope when a roll of duct tape was handy. I'm sure that the producers of this television program are under stringent time constraints, and do not invest as much thought to logical inconsistencies in the plot as we do. They simply don't have the time. |

| So I was fortunate enough to come by DVD source of a pretty memorable 80's scene, at least for those there at the time. It's of the Jean Bruce Scott scene from Airwolf. I am being honest when I say that while she wasn't the hottest of the 80's babes, she was pretty darn cute. More importantly, this is one sassy lass that needed a gag more than most on 80's adventure shows. I was beginning to think it would never happen when luckily, in the 2nd episode of the third season, my wish was granted. Notice how the director chose not to pamper her very much either. I think he knew she needed to be taken down a notch too. Hehe. Anyway, I have cooked up a WMV, 3.50 MB, zipped, for your viewing pleasure. I know there are some out there who, like me, have been wanting to replace the old and grainy versions of this scene with a DVD-quality version. The color is pretty washed out, but I think you'll find it a tad better than the previous versions I have seen floating around for years now. It will be up for a bit, but get it while it's hot. I don't keep my clips on my server for long. Now, if they would just put Partners In Crime on DVD, I think I could die a truly happy man. Hope you enjoy! |

| I forgot to mention that one of the main bad guys in this episode (the "southern" guy), was played by 80's mega sensation, Wings Hauser. Hahaha!! What an awesome actor. It's amazing he didn't go on to huge stardom. In all honesty, I always found him kind of entertaining, despite his cheezy acting. |

Tape-gagged. Hero then picks her up and lays her on her back on a hotel bed, next to her two male cohorts, who are tied up the same way. Hero binds their feet to the bed with a long piece of rope. They begin mppph-ing angrily. He bids them goodbye, saying "Breathe through your nose." They give up struggling and sigh in unison. The girl gets very wide-eyed and agitated, because the hero has turned on the water! In the bathtub! And it's spilling over! Oh no, they're going to drown! Whatever. Anyway, the three begin bobbing up and down on the bed to escape, mmmphing for all they're worth. I know they are rare scenes to find , but i would be pleased if anyone recommend to me scenes that has that type of bondage |

There was rope in his hideout, since he used some to tie her wrists to a chair's arms briefly in one episode. Maybe he's an equal opportunity bondager and didn't want to use just one type of material. Maybe he used up all the tape trying to get her hands and gag just right. Yeah, all (intentionally) dumb answers. Best or at least most on-topic answer is "It's just a dumb ol' soap opera; logical reasons not included." |

One of our Awesome regulars has for several years done an amazingly In-Depth analysis of the TV Season's new and remaining shows through the clearly focused lens of "DID potential." It also included his HO on what was a "must tape" etc I've gotten older over the years and I just don't recall things like I used to... Who pray tell was this kind soul and was the analysis done last year.. |

He had a website for posting vidcaps and some clips, but I believe he's been off the net for over a year. I don't recall his posting a rundown of DiD potential in new TV shows for at least 2 seasons. He was an interesting guy, though I could never convince him that though 'Tara King' may not have been the equal of 'Mrs. Peel' in "Avengers" lore, she did have better legs. |
