Yeah, you need the late-nite stuff Pat.
Then you get the mini-skirts and (affectionate?) scenes outdoors in the rain? So into it, don't notice it's raining I guess? Oh, and for some reason guy, or girl gets killed, or turns out to be the killer

What called, "Sexy-Suspence"?

Then the babes will bounce around like the Indian pop/rocker videos

All tame by Karg standards, but better than the average films

YEs, partly true, Jay. However, bollywood is exploding with steamy as well as bondage scenes these days. Of particular pleasure is the wide variety of gags being used - most heroines take a cleave or an OTM - but there is a ball gag scene that appears now and then too - though I dont know if they really appreciate what that does to bondage fiends like me:)

Even established actresses like Aishwariya Rai are in some sexy numbers. I am posting a few of such steamy stuff on the Video page - maybe you want to check it out.

What Might Have Been... Judy Landers
IMHO, the career of Judy Landers had no shortage of unrealized potential, to wit:

She was a cast member of the TV show "Vega$" as a showgirl, yet was curiously absent when all those showgirls were kidnapped in the "Lost Women" episode.

In "B.J. and the Bear" she was kidnapped by Paul Williams, chloroformed yet never tied in "The Blonde In A Gilded Cage". When all the lady truckers were kidnapped by evil marijuana-growers (I believe that was the "Seven Lady Captives" episode), a gag or two would've made that an epic scene.

In "Madame's Place" a stern judge had each and every one of the main cast members bound and gagged with the singular and notable exception of Ms. Landers.

She also guest-starred on numerous shows like "Buck Rogers," "Charlie's Angels," "The Fall Guy," "The A-Team" and "Fantasy Island"... any one of which could've produced a nice scene but invariably didn't.

She was strapped to a gurney in "Hellhole" but I know I was hoping for a lot more from that situation. I guess what was always so frustrating was that she frequently seemed so close to getting a real scene and then eluding it.

John woos stranglehold
Not sure how interested people are in video game scenes but there are a couple of scenes in this Playstation 3 game ,based on the john woo action movies .
Bear in mind i have only just started it and am about 3 levels in .First scene is in the opening movie thugs bust their way into an apartment where there are two females ,one late 30s other her teenage daughter (you learn this later in the game ).One thug barks to another "tie up the mother "you see him unrolling duct tape and stretching it across her mouth .
After three levels in the game in a cut scene after you complete a level ,you're on a boat and you're shown via cell phone video of the girls tied back to back one begs for help ,before you see her being tape gagged again .
I'll stick a full entry in the database when i complete the game .There are certain to be more scenes ,video games aren't really my thing but i know they do have an interest to some ,and with the high definition graphics ,they're worth seeing i supose .

Title: Cafe Europa (1990)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Barbara Auer

Description: Lovely German actress Auer has her hands cuffed to a pipe over her head and is tape gagged with elastoplast tape. It's a lengthy scene with some neat closeups, and there are struggles and moans from the damsel.

Auer's tape gag is reapplied late in the movie, her mouth is packed with cloth first.

Witless Protection
How are the two reported B&G scenes in this new "Larry the Cable Guy" opus? If, for example, I was *really bored* this evening would it be worth it to go see it?

Thank you.

I can't say much other than I agree 100%. Still remember the thrill I got in the Rocketeer story where someone looks into the backseat of a villain's car and shouts "Hey - there's a girl (or gal or dame or woman or whatever) back here- all tied up!" And there was one of the best drawings you could imagine. As I live pretty much at least a day's drive away from any major comic convention site, I never got to tell him in person how much his work had given me joy. I regret that and hope he knows it now. R.I.P. Dave, you were one of the best.

I didn't mean to imply that you spoke about her real life feelings, I was just trying to kill two birds with one stone in the same post about what actresses really mean in their interviews, regardless...

I disagree with your point about her promoting the bondage aspect; to me it seems she just mentioned one *personal* uncomfortable aspect of the entire film as 'one suffering for their art' so to speak. If you substitute her recollection of being tied up with say, her being forced to walk around the entire shoot with thumb tacks in her shoes, I think you'll understand my point.

But I could be wrong and you're right on this issue, no point in arguing IMO. At least we both can agree on the chief reason for any of us bothering to watch this remake :)

Call of Juarez Xbox 360
In the game Call of Jaurez on 360, a blonde cowgirl gets tieds hands behind to a pole in the final chapter of the game. I don't believe she was gagged. You play the part of a priest turned vigilante. You have to shoot bombs being thrown down at the damsel. If I get a chance I will grab a few caps from my xbox 360 via my tv capture card.

Um

I don't know if this is relevant or on-topic but I have acted in a number low budget films (this is why I don't know if it's on-topic) and I played a damsel three times. Now I enjoy being tied up by my boyfriend and have done for a few years.

But when I'm acting I'm so aware of so many things - the camera crew, the other actors, my eye-line, my lines, my motivation that everything else kind of goes away.

So being tied up in film isn't a sexy experience - it's just the same process of doing a chase sequence or a love scene or a dramatic dilogue scene.

You just don't have to worry about hitting your mark.

I think the Naomi Watts interview should also be taken in context that they probably did a much longer interview than what they printed and the features editor chose what was printed.

Missed opportunities
If it's not going too far, how about the "Toni's Boys" episode, the trial for the would-be "Charlie's Angels" spin off with a reverse of the "Angels" formula (three studs woking for a woman) We see the Angels at the moment of capture but only see them tied, but not gagged, in Robert Loggia's wine cellar. Transportation scenes of the Angels B&G would have been welcome.

And speaking of transportation scenes, one certainly would not only have been welcomed for the Vegas ("Lost Women" episode), but would've made for a more suspenseful episode.

What aired (in the pre-VCR era): A two or three second room pan of about nine chloroformed, B&g'd lovelies in bikinis. Later a quick shot of the still dozing captives in a van.

The problem: As the episode's McGuffin, it left a lot to be desired. It wasn't clearly evident that Dan Tanna would be in a race against time to find out where the missing women were (contrast this with the Starsky & Hutch "The Psychic" episode, where the viewers could tell that the damsel's fate grew more perilous by the minute!). It wasn't established that the women may have been undergoing slavegirl-training, or were on the verge of being whisked out of the country via ship or private plane.

A *LOT* of time must've been spent just to set up those two scenes, that comprised about a dozen seconds of airtime.

How *I* would have have re-shot the 2nd scene:
A) A closeup of one girl awakening from her slumber, gradually realizing that not only is she B&g'd -- but so are her friends! (three or four who have similarly recently awakened and are whimpering back at her) Desperately she makes a muffled shriek at the van's curtained window... fadeout to commercial.

B) Or to establish their peril: Scene opens with a couple of the henchmen herding the B&g'd captives single file into an ominous warehouse --- a new villain (male or female) cackles: "Welcome ladies... we will begin training you to be the perfect slavegirl immediately!" [Mustache twirl optional].

Re: Missed opportunities
No one has mentioned the multiple Buffy episodes that could be altered.

The best bet would be the one where they were going to be burned at the stake as witches. Gagging them would have seemed to be a no-brainer.

Rock Monster
I saw a preview for a movie on the Sci Fi network called "Rock Monster". It showed a brunette gagged with a white towel and hands tied in front. She looked like she was being used as a sacrifice. The movie airs Saturday night at 8:00.

Re: What Might Have Been
Gwyneth Paltrow being discovered (and rescued) bound and gagged (instead of her literally losing her head) in Se7en immediatly comes to mind. However, it wouldn't really be a 'David Fincher' film if that was the case.
