Love the fact that the Nurse [ who though no conventional stunner, has a certain attraction due to her frosty performance throughout the film] is trussed up and placed in a linen basket, knickers on display, thrashing her legs in vain and screaming helplessly through her gag at the indignity and helplessness of her situation. And yes, the stocking tops are a pleasant and unexpected extra. Always a pleasure to see the tables turned on a figure of authority. |

Which of the two films provides the better bondage scene in your opinion - I think the 'Carry on Doctor' scene, though brief, is extremely fun and effective. I love Amanda Barrie's charming bimbo persona in 'Carry on Cleo' and always enjoy her being unfurled from the carpet and crashing into the table. However there is another semi-bondage scene several minutes later. Lying provocatively on a four-poster bed, she beckons her would-be seducer to join her. He leaps onto the bed with too much gusto, causing the four columns around the bed to collapse and bringing the netting over the bed to cover and mumify the pair. There is a glorious shot of Miss Barrie's legs thrashing about, poking helplessly out from the sheeting and suitably cute high-pitched screaming sounds. Her male co-star manages to crawl out from under the covers but Amanda is left helpless under the collapsed canopy. There follows a very cute moment where Amanda manages to lift the covers momentarily to scream for help before the weight of the canopy causes her to disappear again under the covers, still screaming fruitlessly for help. |

I have to say for my money Carry on Nurse is an absolute gem, its a beauty of a scene. The capture when it comes is just such an unexpected delight. The Nurse has been assigned to watch the patients in the mens ward overnight, one man innocently gets up to go to the toilet, then a second, Nect thing she knows she';s handgagged and being dragged kicking & struggling to one of the beds. Next thing the audience sees is Charles Hawtry wearing the nurses unifrom sat at her station, while the nurse is tucked up in bed, sheets up to her chin struggling & mmppphhhing into a big white bandage gag. The patients meanwhile have invaded an operating theatre in an attempt to remove a bunion from Leslie Phillips's foot, their plan is only rumbled when Hawtry falls asleep at his desk and a patient with a broken leg is forced to ring for a bed pan, The ward sister or matron enters and quickly realises what has happened, she pulls back the covers to reveal the nurse in her underwear hands tied behind her back. Probably no more than 30 seconds screen time and the actress rather frustratingly remains uncredited but a delightful performance and a slightly saucy scene. |

| To add to the total for “Carry on Cleo”, there’s a delightful blink and you’ll miss it scene where Mark Antony (Sid James) is buying slaves from Spencius (Warren Mitchell). Spencius offers Mark Antony a slave girl possibly played by Sally Douglas listed in the IMDB as Antony's Dusky Maiden (uncredited). None of the other slaves are restrained in any way but the slave girl is wearing a set of golden manacles linked by chains to a golden belt. A nice little prop’ that someone must have had fun procuring or making. I’ve posted a link to a short video extract of the scene on the Video Page. |

| "Sam" (Kelly Monaco) is bound and gagged throughout today's episode. Her hands are tied behind her back and she is tapegagged. At one point she tries to attract the attention of a woman outside the door by knocking over a vase, but the text-message killer catches it before it hits the floor. The woman outside the door then leaves. He then takes Sam to a new locale. At the end of the episode, she is tied to a chair, hands tied to the chairarms, and still tapegagged. He then takes the tape off. The preview for tomorrow's episode shows her in the same situation (without the gag) with him putting a timebomb on her lap. So far, it is a very good scene. There are some great closeups. The only thing preventing this scene from being a classic is that the tapegag could be more tightly sealed on her mouth. Hopefully, he will reapply the tapegag tomorrow. |

Jute-the pic I posted has no bondage in it. I just figured I should put up a still from the movie with Rhona Mitra in the outfit she is bound/tortured in. If you go to the movie's website, you can find a still of her tied AOH with the villain taunting her in the "gallery" section. I'd post it but I dont know how to get the link from a Java environment. On the movieclip of the scene I linked a couple of days ago-can anyone save this as a file and send it to me? Or, if not, does anyone know how to record one of those videos to a PC? |
