| Just noticed that Scarlett Johansson has the lead actress role in the upcoming Frank Miller movie "The Spirit" based on the comic character created by Will Eisner. Anyone familiar with the the comics know if there was ever any DID situations for the "Silken Floss" character that Johansson will play? |

I don't know anything about the plot of this upcoming movie, but I do recall that bound and gagged female characters were ubiquitous in this comic strip. If the producers of the movie adhere to the comic strip there is be a strong possibility of bound and gagged actresses in the plot. It may not be Ms. Johannsen who is bound and gagged, but rather one or more supporting actresses. |

| Conner Trinneer is one LUCKY BASTARD! He's the guy who plays the recurring role of the Wraith/Human hybrid "Michael" on Atlantis... and boy does he know how to recur!! In next Friday's episode ("The Kindred-Part II") he straps Teyla (Rachel Luttrell) to a lab table! I assume there will be gloating. :-D Teyla's very pregnant (which is a buzz-kill for me) but she's still Teyla! There's a publicity still at the URL below. See also image #9 in the same gallery. For those of you keeping score at home, this is the THIRD TIME Michael has gone Snidley Whiplash on Teyla. Can anyone think of *another* DiD hat-trick? That is three DiD-scenes in exactly three encounters? I can't. In the interests of full disclosure... the first Teyla/Michael encounter was in part two of a two-parter; the second was in a stand-alone episode; and this, the third, is *also* part two of a two-parter. In my book, that counts as a hat-trick. (I can look up the episode titles, if anyone cares. In any case, they're all in the dBase (except for the one that hasn't happened yet).) I already posted a VCR alert for Friday. |

| Damn! I *knew* I should have done complete research first! The "Atlantis" episodes with the character Michael are: "Michael" (2.18)——Teyla DiD-scene #1. "Allies" (2.20)——Teyla's in the episode, but there's no DiD-scene. "Vengeance" (3.18)——Teyla DiD-scene #2. "The Kindred, Part 2" (4.19)——Teyla DiD-scene #3. So... it'a *not* a hat-trick. (Dammit!) As I recall, Teyla had very little air time in "Allies", but she *was* in it. One thing's for sure. When episode *5*.18 or 19 rolls around, Teyla should keep an eye out for Michael, and hide a few escape aids in her costume. ;-) |
