General Hospital possibility on Monday
According the preview shown at the end of Friday's episode on GH, Kelly Monaco is shown handgagged in her hospital bed by the text message killer.

Don't think there'll be more but who knows...

Reason: Age reference. Yeah, it came from the database, but I'll correct that as well. You should have edited the quoted material.

Posting the DB entry that needed to be edited.

Record number: 13254

Title: Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation (1989)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Angela Rodriguez

Description: Great story: three youths spend seven years creating a shot-for-shot remake of "Raiders of the Lost Ark," which gets shelved for over a decade before finding a fan in Eli Roth (and later Spielberg himself). Now there's a documentary "film about the remaking of the film" in the works. The video looks like the eighties-era Betamax that it was, and the sound is pretty lousy, but that's hardly the point: on a budget of $5,000, the production values are otherwise worthy of applause. The famous truck-chase sequence alone is meticulously and ingeniously reconstructed.

To get more on topic, the adaptation gives us a young Ms. Rodriguez in her only credited role, taking over for Karen Allen in the role of Marian. She gives a solid performance. The cleave-gag scene in the tent, as well as the back-to-back tie with Indy in the climactic scene, are present and accounted for.

Rodriguez, er, develops over the course of the seven-year shoot, and it must be said that she looks pretty good in those dresses.

Sorry for any hassle. I knew it was potentially touchy, and I tried to refrained from any explicit reference to the age of the actress in the entry. The three "n-year-olds" were the filmmakers, who did not include the actress, so I thought it might be okay.

Harm's Way
I watched the preview for this 2007 film on my On Demand menu, and it looked like there was a bg scene for Ingrid Kavelaars. Also appeared to be a scene earlier in the trailer with another unknown actress.
Did not see a listing in the database. So was wondering if anyone here had seen it?

There was no bondage. However, Kelly Monaco did get handgagged at the beginning of Monday's episode by the text message killer. She was in her hospital bed hooked up to tubes. He said "Not this time, bitch. It's no fun if you can't struggle." Then he left. There was nothing else in the episode or in the preview for tomorrow's episode.

Paula Peril movie update on New Phoenix Filmworks' website
News Update February 6, 2008
New Phoenix Filmworks Suspends Production on Paula Peril Movie

Phoenix, Arizona – New Phoenix Filmworks announced today the suspension of all production of Paula Peril: Midnight is the Darkest Hour, the original feature-length film based on the popular Atlantis Studios comic book character Paula Peril.

The production studio cited cost overruns as the reason behind the decision, and confirmed that the film would not be completed for its April 2008 target release date.
“We are extremely grateful for everyone who put their blood, sweat, and tears into making this film happen,” said Andy Rodriguez, owner of New Phoenix Filmworks and the film’s director. “This was an extremely ambitious project to adapt a comic book faithfully on the budget of a small independent film, and we just had to face the truth that we would not be able to complete it to the level of quality we had hoped.”

The low budget feature fell $40-45,000 short of completion, as no investor could be found to complete the film. Distribution through major U.S. distributors projected minimum returns of at least a quarter million dollars in international and domestic sales.

"I am disappointed for a number of reasons, and I could go on, but I would rather focus on the next steps for New Phoenix Filmworks, including the new productions already in progress."

All film rights for future film productions of Paula Peril will revert back to series creator Atlantis Studios effective April 1. “There has been a high level of interest in this production from the beginning, and we will continue with our plans to develop Paula as a film heroine,” said James Watson, Atlantis Studios President, “We will be evaluating options for future films, and hope to have some exciting announcements very soon”.

In the meantime, New Phoenix Filmworks has announced that it will release selected scenes from “Midnight is the Darkest Hour” for fans to view at no charge. These will be posted at http://www.newphx.com and exclusively on Paula Peril’s MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/paulaperil). The first scene, a mini-movie in its own right, with a estimated running time of 15 minutes, will be available for download in a few months.

King of California
I don't think it's been mentioned here yet, but there's a quick scene for Evan Rachel Wood in the new DVD King of California. In the last 15 minutes, she is sitting down tied around her arms with hands in front. Her dad, Michael Douglas, has tied her up to prevent her getting arrested for them breaking into a Costco. After some talking, he takes a cord and ties her ankles. I was hoping he would gag her, but he just leaves. Some nice struggling in an unexpected scene in a pretty good movie.
